  • Patent number: 11295583
Abstract: A quantum computing based video alert system converts captured video and audio signals, in real time, into a sequence of video qubits and a sequence of audio qubits. An entanglement score is generated based on a comparison of the video qubits to historical video qubits that are verified to show malicious activity. A second entanglement score is generated based on a comparison of the audio qubits to historical audio qubits that are verified to show malicious activity. A probability score is generated for each segment of the video qubit sequence and for each segment of the audio qubit sequence. If the probability score for the video qubit sequence, the audio qubit sequence, or a combination of probability scores for both the video qubit sequence and the audio qubit sequence meet a threshold, then an alert is generated to identify possible malicious activity at the location of a CCTV camera capturing the real-time data.

  • Patent number: 8656144
Abstract: The invention provides an image processing device, an image processing method, and an image processing program which enable accurately observing a moving image of an object within a time interval within which the object is in a desired state. A control unit performs an analysis process after the elapse of every defined time period. As the analysis process, the control unit acquires evaluation values corresponding to image data of a plurality of frames stored within a latest defined time period and, based on the acquired evaluation values, selects a group of reproduction data formed from image data of a certain number of frames, out of the image data of the plurality of frames stored within the latest defined time period. After the completion of the analysis process, the control unit starts reproduction of a moving image based on the group of reproduction data selected through the analysis process.

  • Patent number: 8606073
Abstract: A broadcast management system creates, manages, and streams a broadcast of an event from videos captured from multiple cameras. A video capture system comprising multiple cameras captures videos of the event and transmits the videos to a broadcast management server. The broadcast management server generates a website or other graphical interface that simultaneously displays the captured videos in a time-synchronized manner. A broadcast manager user creates a broadcast by selecting which video to output to the broadcast at any given time. A broadcast map is stored for each broadcast that includes all of the broadcast decisions made by the broadcast manager user such that the broadcast can be recreated at a later time by applying the broadcast map to the raw videos. Using a viewer client, viewers can browse or search for broadcasts and select a broadcast for viewing.

  • Patent number: 8498521
Abstract: Provided is a video reproduction method with a less difference between a target speed and an actual speed, when fast forward reproduction or fast rewind reproduction is performed on reproduction units consisting of a plurality of connected video units. When the video units are switched, in fast forward reproduction, as an elapsed jump time duration, a difference between a reproduction time of a last displayed picture in a source video unit and an end time of the source video unit is calculated (S104), then, as a remaining jump time duration, a value is calculated by subtracting the calculated elapsed jump time duration from the jump time duration corresponding to the designated speed (S105), then, as a reproduction start time, a time is calculated by adding the calculated remaining time duration to a start time of a destination video unit (S106), and the video is reproduced from the reproduction start time.

  • Patent number: 8442383
Abstract: An image capturing apparatus selects one of image capturing conditions to be used for capturing images as a reference condition when a total of image capturing time of one frame in each image capturing condition to be used for capturing images is longer than one frame period at a predetermined frame rate, and captures images at the predetermined frame rate under the reference condition, and captures images at a frame rate lower than the predetermined frame rate under the other image capturing conditions. A playback apparatus detects a motion between frames of a moving image captured under the reference condition when the image capturing condition of the playback moving image is not the reference condition, and generates an interpolation frame for interpolating between frames of the playback moving image based on the detected motion.
