Abstract: A portable water and energy saving bathtub used in a shower room or a bathtub comprises a body liking an opened container, a step on the bottom is located beside the end wall. The other end is a flashboard gate, which includes a groove on inner faces of the container, the flashboard capable of moving is inserted into the groove until to a bottom of the groove, a water seal ring is set between the groove and the flashboard. A reducing-volume-chunk likes a cuboid has two legs sitting on the side walls of container, therefore, the reducing-volume-chunk is hanged in the container. A locking-releasing-device locks or releases the rock for the reducing-volume-chunk with the container.

Abstract: A wheeled cart is configured to removably carry a patient's personal wash basin. The cart includes a lid that covers the personal wash basin when the cart is moved from a bathroom to the patient so that liquid in the wash basin cannot splash out onto the floor if the cart strikes an obstruction. A flexible tube is provided for filling the basin from a sink. A drain pipe is provided to empty the wash basin without the need to lift the wash basin. A disposable thin personal wash basin having a funnel-shaped outlet may be used with the cart to minimize potential contamination.

Abstract: A bathing aid is designed to reduce the workload on the caregiver in bathing the physically challenged, elderly or similar persons requiring nursing care. The bathing aid is provided with an upward-opening cover for covering the open top of the bathtub except for an opening for allowing the bather to stick their head through. The cover is supported by arms urged upward by gas springs. The upward-opening cover allows the caregiver to stand whichever side of the bathtub and opens or closes the cover without difficulty. Furthermore, the cover's upward-opening structure is advantageous for reducing the installation space because it does not require the additional side space that would be necessary if the cover is constructed to open sideward.

Abstract: A double tub bath structure includes a primary tub defining therein a water containing recess, a secondary tub smaller than the primary tub and movably disposed within the primary tub by being supported by a support plate and a hood serving as a canopy to cover the water containing recess removably secured to the primary tub. A positioning rod with a plurality of positioning holes formed thereon is secured to the support plate and is movably received within a slot formed in the primary tub. A control lever pivoted within a deep hole juxtaposing the slot is allowed to rotate relative to the positioning rod to have a retaining end thereof engage one of the positioning holes to hold the support plate at a desired position within the primary tub. Wheels may be provided on the primary tub to help moving the double tub bath. The canopy may include a net member to provide air ventilation so that the double tub bath may serve as a baby perambulator with the baby sitting or lying down in the secondary tub.

Abstract: A whirlpool bath is provided having a support frame for contact with a supporting surface. The support frame includes a support section for separately supporting a water containing tank and an impeller for creating a water jet stream within the tank. The support section is vertically adjustable to adjust the position of both the tank and the impeller relative to the support surface and the impeller is separately adjustable vertically relative to the tank. The tank is not secured to the support section, and both the tank and the impeller may be separately removed for cleaning.

Abstract: For handicapped persons, especially wheelchair users, a hygiene seat is proposed having a rim comprising two cooperating tubes (7, 8) adjustable in an axial direction and via a detent mechanism, as well as guide rails (4a, 4b) serving to receive a tub (6) or a board, whereby a cushion may be mounted on said board (3) closing the opening in the rim.

Abstract: A sponge bath and rinse platform on which the user (patient) lies for cleansing. The device is formed with a peripheral wall (defined by side walls, a head end wall, and a foot end wall) and a central area having a number of specially contoured areas for raising selected portions of the body above a gently sloping grade plane. The lowest region of the central area is located near the foot end wall, and defines a liquid collection area. The contoured areas define supports for the head, upper trunk, lower trunk, arms, and legs. Thus, the device includes a head support, an upper trunk support, a lower trunk support, first and second arm supports, and first and second leg supports.
