  • Patent number: 6427259
Abstract: The invention is a portable sink with a lid that is capable of being connected to an existing water supply, such as an outdoor hose or faucet, such that running water can be provided inside the sink in an outdoor environment. The sink preferably has features that make it easy to use in any outdoor environment, such as folding legs, an adjustable spigot, a spray nozzle, a storage drawer, a shelf, a large drain, a funnel, a strainer for the drain, cutting boards, baskets, etc. The lid also enables the sink to be used as a container for storing items during travel. In this respect, the sink can be made of an insulating material so that it can double as an ice chest when desired. A pressurized water tank can be provided which is preferably sized to fit inside the sink and adapted to supply water where no other water supply is available.

Abstract: A baby changing and washing station is disclosed, designed as an apparatus to aid in the washing and/or cleansing of an infant. The present invention comprises a frame that is attached to a wall and provides for a fold down table portion, similar in design to a conventional diaper changing station. A padded vinyl area for the infant is provided along with restraining straps to hold the infant. A water bottle is provided in a heated container to allow the water to be slightly warmed. Tubing is designed to carry the water through a release device at the end of the tube to allow cleansing of the infant after a diaper change or may be used to wash the entire infant. A drain system in the fold down table collects the waste water in a catch basin which may be removed and emptied after bathing duties are complete.

Abstract: The sink support is a simple structural device for mounting under counter tops used in bathrooms, kitchens and other facilities to support a sink. The sink support consists of a cross member with a mounting bracket at each end. The brackets are designed to rest on the top edge of the vertical element supporting the counter top. This is typically the cabinet structure under the counter top. With two brackets so mounted, the sink may rest on the sink supports on the sink edges when the sink is placed relative to the cutout formed in the typical counter top. Adjustment screws are provided in the cross member to provide for aligning the sink with the counter top.
