Abstract: An infant support pillow including a pillow base with a first rounded depression, a second rounded depression and a ridge separating the first rounded depression and second rounded depression. The first rounded depression has a top to bottom depth greater than the second rounded depression. The first rounded depression and second rounded depression form a first depression crater and a second depression crater in the pillow base and the first depression crater is sized to match the average dimensions of the back of an infant's head. Similarly, the second depression crater is sized to match the average dimensions of the back of an infant's neck.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a tub for bathing infants or children. The tub includes a receptacle for containing water and for receiving an infant. The tub also includes a selectively removable insert or positioning member that can be used to change the bathing area inside of the tub. When the positioning member is locked to the tub, the positioning member defines two separate infant seating positions within the tub. The positioning member is removable from the tub to allow the entire receptacle to be used.

Abstract: A device for use with bathing and changing a baby includes a structure for removably supporting a baby bath. In one embodiment, the structure comprises a panel having a cut out for the baby bath and includes side rails for slidably mounting a change table that can slide over the baby bath from a position beside the baby bath. Additionally, at least one work table is also mounted by the panel structure between the change table and the baby bath. Also, the work table may also be slidable over the baby bath. In one aspect, the panel structure includes a support framework that is at least height adjustable for supporting the device over a household bath tub. Advantageously, the device saves space within a bathroom as it is locatable over a household bath tub. Moreover, it also allows for safe handling of a baby which can be lifted from the baby bath and immediately placed on the change table located next to the baby bath. The change table can then be easily slid across to cover the baby bath.

Abstract: An apparatus, a system and a method for supporting an animal during grooming of the animal. A base has a drain, such as, for example, a drain hole and/or drain holes, which may allow the liquids to flow through the base. The base is supported by, for example, a leg and/or the side walls of a wash tub. The leg pivots from a first position to a second position and/or has a length which adjusts to allow the leg to push against the surface of the wash tub. Moreover, the animal is placed on top of the base and may be groomed by the user while on the base.

Abstract: A rigid foldable portable diaper changing pad provided with a plurality of support panels. At least one of the support panels is provided with a section overlaying an adjacent panel to provide stability and prevent the panels from being rotated more than 180°. An additional panel provided at a right angle from the plane of the aforementioned panels would be utilized to support the changing pad on a faucet spigot. This panel would also be utilized to prevent scalding of an infant, if the water were to be turned on accidently.

Abstract: An article for supporting an infant during bathing includes a body portion having a top surface that is constructed and shaped to support an infant, and a bottom surface. The body portion is made out of a material that is compressible and water-absorbent material, such as a sponge-like polymeric foam. A passage is defined in the body portion for permitting bath water to flow unimpeded through the body portion from beneath the bottom surface to above the top surface when the article is placed bottom surface down into bath water. As a result, bath water will be absorbed into the body portion, and particularly into the top surface, more quickly than was heretofore possible with conventional bath supports. A second aspect involves a torso-receiving portion of the body portion, which is made to be more compressible than other regions so as to ensure that an infant's torso is as immersed as possible during bathing.

Abstract: A padding system adapted for a sink including a sink insert having an open upper end, a closed lower end, a front wall, a rear wall, and two side walls. The sink insert is dimensioned for receipt within a sink. The closed lower end has a drainage aperture formed therethrough in a central portion thereof. The drainage aperture is disposed over an existing drain of a sink. The open upper end has a peripheral flange extending outwardly therefrom.

Abstract: Combination bathtub and infant-supporting insert are provided with interengagable members for firmly holding the insert in any of multiple inclined positions, enabling support of an infant on its back from a near horizontal position shortly after birth to a near-upright position at the stage that it is almost ready to outgrow the tub. The tub and insert are each preferably injection molded as a single piece from an appropriate plastic material. The infant-supporting surface is smoothly contoured to properly support the back, head and bottom of the infant in all angles of inclination, regardless of the infant's size.

Abstract: A portable diaper changing station is disclosed for enabling changing of a baby's diaper on a surface having a protruding portion. The station includes a nonbendable rigid member having a handle portion formed therein and having an upper surface, a cushioning pad, and a nonporous wipable case attached to the upper surface, wherein the case defines an enclosure having at least one opening for receiving the cushioning pad within the enclosure. The station further includes a first foldable flap member releasably secured to one edge of the rigid member, which first flap member has pockets formed therein, a second, foldable cushioned flap member releasably secured to an opposite edge of the rigid member for cushioning the protruding portion of the surface, and connecting means attached to the rigid member for releasably connecting the rigid member to the protruding portion of the surface. A method of changing a baby's diaper using the station is also disclosed.

Abstract: A baby bathtub is provided with a housing having therein a supporting frame assembly controlled by a control rod assembly through an extension handle to move upward or downward along four dovetail-like vertical projections on the inner wall thereof so as to adjust the level position of a mattress which is mounted on the supporting frame assembly for the lying thereon of a baby. Drain pipe is attached to the housing and controlled by a drain control device.

Abstract: A light, portable, flexible vessel for bathing babies is disclosed, comprising a rigid but impact-absorbent frame adapted to be placed on and around the periphery of a conventional kitchen sink, and a removable, slip-on fabric pouch suspended therefrom and secured with a "Velcron"-type seal. The pouch is characterized by cut-offs on at least one corner and preferably is of double thickness, i.e. a sack which will easily slip over the frame.
