Abstract: There is provided an apparatus for attaching a tap body on to a sink. The apparatus comprises a tap body for positioning above an aperture on the sink and the tap body has at least one water pipe inlet port on a surface which is positioned directly above the aperture. The apparatus also comprises a fastening plate which is positioned underneath the aperture on the sink, and a securing means which is insertable through the tap body which secures the tap body and the fastening plate from above the sink. At least one water pipe inlet port is flush with the external surface of the tap body.

Abstract: A control structure of a wall-mounted faucet includes a water outlet and a control device, wherein the control device has a control stick, a valve block, a sealing unit and a resilient unit, wherein the control stick is disposed through a through hole of the water outlet, and the valve block has two clamping ribs protrudingly located at front side of the valve block, and the clamping ribs clamp the control stick. A connecting surface is located on top of the clamping ribs, and the resilient unit covers the control stick, wherein both ends of the resilient unit are against the stopping surface of the water outlet and the connecting surface of the valve block. So, the control stick is pushed by the resilient unit to drive the valve block to escape the valve of the water outlet to avoid the water unexpectedly spraying out from the showerhead.

The docking assembly generally comprises a receptacle fitted into the spout which is formed with chamfered interior walls. A spring-loaded flexible collet is contained within the receptacle with a degree of sliding freedom for spring-biased travel along the chamfered interior walls of the receptacle, from a first position that allows generous radial expansion of the collet to a second position in which radial expansion is restricted. A quick-connect fitting attached to the pull-down sprayhead moves the collet into its first position allowing radial expansion of the collet. Removal of the quick-connect fitting moves the collet to its second position which restricts radial expansion, inhibiting said removal. Consequently, the pulldown sprayhead may be docked to the spout with considerably less insertion force than the opposite removal force needed to undock the pulldown sprayhead from the spout.
