Abstract: A sleeve-shaped outer part is formed from a blank cut that is wound to a sleeve and end sections are connected to one another in an overlap region. A predetermined separating region includes an actuator with a gripping section for the separation of separating sections located on both sides. The separating section, as seen in circumferential direction, is arranged so as to be laterally spaced apart by an offset with respect to the separating sections aligned to taper towards one another and an imaginary straight connecting line between them. A separate predetermined separating section is formed in the sleeve of the outer part between each gripping section end and the respective end of the separating sections. A combination packaging container includes a cup-shaped inner container having such an outer part and a method separates the predetermined separating region and the separation of the outer part from the inner container.

Information may be printed on an interior portion of the closure and a base label. A portion of the base label may be visible through a transparent window in a top label having. Rotation of the top label may cause the transparent window to display label information of varying relevance to the closure information.

The sleeve has a length greater than the circumference. The sleeve is fabricated from a resilient fabric material that snugly encapsulates variously sized and dimensioned baby bottles. The sleeve includes an inner wall for engaging a bottle outer surface, an outer wall that is visible while affixed to the baby bottle. The outer wall is also configured to enable marking and erasing of a removable identifying indicia. This indicia is a characteristic relating to the contents of the baby bottle. The sleeve has a pair of peripheral edges running parallel and forming notches. The notch enables facilitated manipulation and gripping of the bottle during labeling and while a baby drinks from the bottle.

The identification tag may be formed from a material that does not interfere with electromagnetic signals.

Abstract: A lidded container assembly includes a container having a lid that rotates between a closed position to close the container and an opened position to open the container. A coupling assembly joins a flag and the container to allow rotation of the flag between lowered and raised positions. When the container is moved from an upright position to an inverted position, gravity moves the lid from the closed position to the open position, and the lid acts on the flag positioned over the lid to overcome friction between the coupling assembly and the container to rotate the flag from the lowered position to the raised position. When the container is returned to the upright position, gravity moves the lid from the open position to the closed position, and the friction between the coupling assembly and the container automatically holds the flag in the raised position.

Abstract: The visual alert for placement on free-range animals includes active and/or passive lighting to alert motor vehicle drivers of such animals crossing the roadway when traveling through open rangeland. The visual alert is a sleeve having fins extending radially therefrom, the fins having reflective and/or active lighting elements thereon. Power for active lighting is provided by electrical batteries that are recharged during daylight. The permanently installed sleeve may be formed as a circumferentially closed distensible unit that passes over the hoof of the animal, or as an open sheet that is rolled about the leg of the animal and permanently secured by plastic ties or other suitable elements. The sleeve is lined with a non-abrasive material to preclude injury to the animal during long term wear.

One or more compressible foam pads are positioned in the shield gap between the bollard and the bollard shield. A resilient bollard sheath can be rolled onto the bollard shield. The bollard sheath includes advertising or graphical materials disposed thereon. The bollard sheath is generally replaceable without replacing the entire bollard shield. A removable sheath panel may be detachably secured on the bollard sheath to provide additional advertising or graphical material. The sheath panel may be interchangeably and replaced with additional sheath panels having different advertising information.

The indicator is moveable from the internal area of the container to an external area.

Abstract: An apparatus and a system for affixing a label to a cup, bottle and/or container is provided. The apparatus and system may allow for affixing a pre-printed label having a plurality of colors and indicia thereon to a cup whereby the label may be viewed as integral part to the cup itself. The preprinting of the labeling prior to the affixation of the cup insures consistency and uniformity of the indicia thereon. Additionally, the printing of the label prior to affixing it to the cup may allow the printer to ensure proper angles of the indica prior to the application of the label onto the desired cup apparatus. Moreover, the present invention may allow for the peeling away of a portion if the label to review the outside edge of the receiving cup/container.
