Abstract: An upright display includes a display main body made of display sheets each having a display face, connected so that the sheets can be folded into flat and unfolded into a tubular shape. A retaining member is located in the display main body to retain the display main body in the unfolded state. The retaining member may be folded into flat and unfolded into a tubular shape. The retaining member is in contact with rear faces of the display sheets in such a state that at least one part of the retaining member is fixed to the rear faces of the display sheets. An elastic member urges the retaining member in such a direction that the retaining member can be folded into a tubular shape.

Abstract: Support devices and graphic display systems in which the graphic display material is supported by a support device that is rollable with the flexible graphic display material, eliminating the need for traditional frames or stands. The support devices include a thin-walled elongate body having a length extending between first and second ends and having first and second side edges extending along the length of the elongate body. The side edges include at least one recess or protrusion for selectively locking the side edges together to selectively orient the elongate body in an elongate tube-shaped configuration when the side edges are selectively locked together. The thin-walled elongate body is sufficiently flexible so that when the side edges are disengaged from each other the elongate body can be rolled along its length into a tube-shaped configuration for storage.

Abstract: An improved wet floor caution sign where the two panels of the sign are attached along a pair of adjacent sidewalls rather than at the top of the panels where conventional wet floor sign panels are attached. As a result, the two panels are ninety (90) degrees to each other and are therefore much more stabile. In addition, the ninety (90) degrees panel configuration facilitates having four panels on which advertisements can be placed as opposed to only two panels as in conventional signs.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes various embodiments of shooting target assemblies and associated systems and methods of use and manufacture. One aspect of the disclosure is directed to shooting target assemblies configurable in an assembled arrangement and a stowed arrangement. Another aspect of the disclosure is directed to shooting target assemblies having a stabilizer for improving target stability during operation.

Abstract: A bulletin for use on a mounting structure. The bulletin includes a sheet having a front surface for receiving an image and a rear surface and an outer periphery for extending around the outer surface. A strengthening strip is secured to one of the front surface and the rear surface along at least a portion of the outer periphery for inhibiting damage to the outer periphery when extending around the outer surface of the mounting structure. A billboard assembly, a method of forming a bulletin, and method of mounting a bulletin on a billboard structure are also provided.

Abstract: An inflatable display having figurines that are selectively attached to a display base using a pneumatic coupling comprised of an inflating coupling having an annular groove that mates with an inflating port having a ring seal. The base and individual figurines are made of a breathable yet inflatable fabric material. Openings through the base allow air pressure supplied by an electric blower to inflate the figurines via the pneumatic couplings. The display is kept in place by a series of guy ropes and stakes placed around the perimeter of the base and some figurines can include an interior light.

Abstract: A collapsible, flexible display system for creating different spatial shapes of a continuous screen includes at least two stands, each including a first part which support against an underlying supportive surface and a pole with a first end removably secured in the first part by a coupling. The display system also includes essentially hollow, straight members of a rigid material including end parts, and essentially hollow, bendable members of a flexible material including end parts. Each end part includes either a male part, or a female part, at least one of them of a magnetic material, and operable to magnetically fasten to each other. Straight members and bendable members are connected to form an upper part and a lower part. The structure also includes a pair of resilient linking frames extending between opposing bottom edges of the panels and along at least a portion of the opposing side edges of the panels. The linking frames help to enable the signage structure to be quickly and easily erected. The structure is particularly suitable as a portable scoreboard, but may also be applicable to advertising and the like. A method of erecting and collapsing the signage structure is also provided.

The holding member also includes at least one fastener adapted to fasten the cassette in the holding member when inserted into the holding member.

Abstract: Described herein is a new assembly of components which comprise a support structure for hanging or supporting bicycles or similar equipment. The rack is designed using a number of tubes that pack into themselves for an extremely compact, lightweight assembly which is very easy to transport and store. The simple design ensures long term reliability and ease of use.

Abstract: A traffic sign holder includes a first side for night use and an opposite second side for day use. Both sides of the traffic sign holder removably accept traffic signs which contain traffic control instructions. The first side contains a selectively energizable light and at least one reflector. The second side also includes at least one reflector, and is colored a bright color. Two base members are pivotally connected to the bottom of the traffic sign holder, and are selectively positionable to a locked extended position for placement on the surface of a road, and to a collapsed position for storage. Weights can be selectively connected to the traffic sign holder to provide stability.

Abstract: The portable traffic barrier with illuminated message display includes at least one lightweight panel having a rigid frame and a matrix of separate illumination units therein. The illumination units are flexibly secured to one another within the panel by links extending between adjacent units. Each illumination unit includes two mutually opposed faces, either or both faces providing illumination from a plurality of small lighting elements (e.g., LEDs) therein. Some of the units may be non-illuminated, if desired. The panel includes an electrical power supply capable of providing power to the illumination units from a solar panel, a portable electrical supply, or from the local power grid, if available. In at least one embodiment, the panel may be folded in accordion fashion for more compact storage when not deployed. A plurality of such panels may be interconnected mechanically and electrically to provide a comprehensive traffic message, if desired.

The fold lines (52) and the crease lines are coincident with each other. Such a device is stable in operation and is efficient to use and manufacture.

Abstract: A collapsible fabric display system comprises a frame and a fabric membrane configured for securement to the frame, which includes a hollow tubular spine and a pair of opposed fabric spreaders attached to the spine—the spreader being located within the spine. The spreaders are movable along the spine under urging of a spreader drive mechanism between a retracted condition of the frame in which the spreaders are located proximate one another, and an extended condition of the frame (illustrated) in which the spreaders are remote from one another. The spreaders each comprise a hub mounted on the spine and a plurality of spreader ribs pivotably connected to each hub, made up of a set of internal ribs and a set of external ribs. Abstract: A large size display is transportable, being construed of multiple rigid segments containing light emitting diodes (LED's). The rigid segments are linked by hinges or cables so the display is flexible and can be rolled up for storage and transport. The display can be unrolled upward or downwards such as from a protective container, such as a canister or truss. The weight of the display on the linked hinges or the tensioned cables provides sufficient rigidity. Such cables, like a signal and power distribution bus, are connected to the rear of each rigid element. The display can be repaired by removing and replacing selected rigid segments from the front thereof.

Said advertising envelope and gas together are heavier than the air. The fixed envelope raises and displays said message. Other optional elements used to set the advertising envelope on place that not necessarily all embodiments have are: an electricity generator (41), an electricity reservoir (54), a conductive element (51), a resistance (43), a lamp (43), a funnel (23) acting as a valve, a vehicle (27) that drags the envelope (32), a bridle (21), control lines (24), a fan (40), and a photoreceptor (42) connected to an electrical switch (57).

Abstract: A retractable double-sided banner stand has a base, two upright posts, a crossbar, and a single banner with graphic image(s) disposed on both sides of the banner. The base generally includes a housing, two housing end cap assemblies, a single core, and a retracting mechanism. The banner is wound around the core, and the retracting mechanism unwinds and winds the banner with respect to the core. The leading edge of the banner is attached to the crossbar, which is wider than the width of the banner. The banner stand has an erect upright mode for displaying the images(s), and a collapsed mode for transporting the banner stand. In the erect mode, the upright posts are retained in the base by means of a quick-release locking mechanism, the banner extends upwardly from the base, and the crossbar engages with, and is supported by, the upper portion of each of the upright posts.

Abstract: A collapsible tradeshow display includes curved end panels that provide for easier attachment and eliminate the possibility of dramatic disengagement of the panel from the display. Each end panel has a generally planar body comprised of a resilient material having a tendency to return to a generally flat configuration when in a curved configuration. A pair of side margins extend along opposing vertical sides of the body, each having a bridge portion attached thereto. A connecting means can connect the bridge portions to retain the panel in the curved configuration.

Abstract: A display system utilizing a graphics box as a primary component is disclosed. The graphics box greatly increases the flexibility and aesthetic appeal of displayed graphics cards. The ability to mass produce the graphics box, use multiple graphics boxes to deliver displays of different size and information content and, especially, the ability to reuse the graphics boxes, means that costs of the disclosed display system are relatively low and are achievable without a decrease in the aesthetic appeal of the entire display. Structures for supporting the graphics box to further increase the flexibility of the display system are also disclosed.

Abstract: A flat spring deflectable sign stand assembly principally intended for portable, temporary roadside signs. The flat steel spring allows for improved deflection strength to withstand forces caused by air turbulence from weather conditions and passing vehicles. The quick-release collapsible leg assembly allows for easy storage and on-site assembly of the stand. Telescopic legs allow for proper positioning and stability of the stand under varying roadside conditions.

Abstract: The present invention comprises a point of sale display having two joined flexible substrates capable of receiving a display material, each substrate having at least one leaf spring attached thereto and at least one fold line. Upon activation of the leaf springs, the substrates form curved surfaces, thereby giving the display a three dimensional form. The leaf springs and fold lines allow the display to be compressed flat and folded for shipping and storage.

Abstract: Retractable banner stands each comprises a base including a housing containing an extendable and retractable banner, the housing having a slot through which the banner is extended and retracted. The base includes sockets for receiving vertical poles for attachment of accessories. Such accessories can include banner support structure for an additional banner to be positioned intermediate two of said retractable banner stands whereby a three banner interconnected display may be provided with each of the banners visually separated. Such a display is highly suitable for a backwall for a tradeshow display area. Further accessories include shelves, literature holders, lighting, and electronic display screens. The base may include a housing with a pair of floor engaging saddles, each saddle with a pair of feet portions extending forwardly and rearwardly from the housing on two ends of the housing, the feet having the sockets for receiving said vertical poles.

Abstract: A collapsible and deployable sign system includes a support tube and a sliding member longitudinally slidable on the support tube. A handle is rotatably connected to the support tube and rotatably linked to the sliding member such that rotation of the handle slidably displaces the sliding member with respect to the support tube. A bracket assembly is fixed to the support tube. At least one scissoring assembly including first and second scissoring links is rotatably connected together by a rotational fastener. The first scissoring link is rotatably connected to the bracket assembly and separately to a corner brace member. The second scissoring link is rotatably connected to the sliding member and separately to the corner brace member. Handle rotation moves the sliding member toward the bracket assembly moving the corner brace member from a stowed condition proximate the support tube away from the support tube to a deployed condition.

Abstract: Display device including a unitary, rigid sheet defining a left center panel, a right center panel pivotally connected to the left center panels, a left side panel pivotally connected to the left center panel and a right side panel pivotally connected to the right center panel. Vertically extending separation lines are formed on a rear planar layer without penetrating or cutting a front planar layer so that the panels are able to pivot about vertical axes. Fold lines may be formed opposite the separation lines on the front planar layer to facilitate folding the sheet whereby the fold lines define the vertical axes about which the panels pivot. Folding of the sheet provides a compact configuration which enables the display device to be easily carried.
