Abstract: A barrier sign kit that includes a barrier post having one or more vertically oriented splines positioned on an outer side; and a rigid planar sign member having an aperture sized and shaped to securely mount the sign member on a spline. The planar sign member can be mounted on the spline of the barrier post to provide a simple sign mounting on the barrier post. The barrier post may be a conventional barrier post as used in existing queueing solutions. The sign member may be formed of rigid card or plastic.

Abstract: A doormat has a base member. A slot is formed in the base member, the slot running along a length and width of the base member. An opening is formed through a top surface of the base member into the slot. An insert is provided. The insert is approximately a size of the base member and configured to be slideable within the slot formed in the base member.

Abstract: A bucket list display device. Multiple goal mounts and achievement mounts are mounted onto a mounting board. Each achievement mount is mounted next to a corresponding goal mount. Goal placards are removably attached to the goal mounts and achievement placards are removably attached to the achievement mounts. Each goal placard refers to a desired goal to be achieved. Each achievement placard provides a statement that indicates if the goal has been accomplished or if it has not yet been accomplished. In one preferred embodiment the goal placards refer to golf courses that the user hopes to one day play.

Abstract: A method for producing an LED lamp includes a lamp housing wherein at least one carrier circuit board equipped with LEDs is inserted into the lamp housing in such a way that at least a subregion of the lamp housing protrudes beyond the carrier circuit board with a projection, and the projection is at least partially deformed after insertion in such a way that the lamp housing is pressed with the carrier circuit board.

Abstract: An identification device for switch cabinets and other electrical devices includes at least one identification plate and a carrier profile configured to receive the identification plate. The carrier profile further includes a rear wall, a first and second lateral holding wall, and at least one support web. The first and second lateral holding walls extend forwards from the rear wall. The support web extends traversely to at least one holding wall and is configured to support the identification plate. At least one misplacement guard is provided and is configured to prevent the identification plate from being placed below the support web when mounted.

Abstract: A parking space sign system that is mountable to existing parking bumpers or includes a flexible support structure for placement in parking spaces with parking bumpers, a frame mount having at least one transparent frame sleeve formed by sleeve flanges, at least one panel with indicia on its face and at least one mounting aperture for mounting the frame to a parking bumper with hardware or slotted end caps instead of mounting apertures in the frame mount for sealing the ends of the frame mount and securing it to a parking bumper.

Abstract: A shelf sign is designed for use with a conventional bookend that typically includes a horizontal plate for slipping beneath a book, and a U-shaped retainer vertically extending therefrom. The sign includes a planar display member having a pair of juxtaposed pockets formed therein. A first, wide pocket receives the U-shaped retainer on the bookend and a second, narrow pocket receives any one of a plurality of identification strips to describe a particular category to be displayed on a shelf. Accordingly, when a user positions the bookend next to a group of items in a conventional fashion, the identification strip is readily visible from either end of an aisle.

Abstract: A method and an article of manufacture are disclosed for making and using a configurable information tag to support easy user identification in a crowded setting, such as a large classroom. In various embodiments, a transparent case, a thin frame, or sheet material, such as cardboard, plastic, laminates, and the like is used to create an information tag, such as a nametag, suitable for attaching to the back of a laptop computer for quick and easy identification of the laptop user by others. In various embodiments, the configurable information tag may include a folded transparent plastic sheet, a sheet with a folded edge, and an adhesive sheet. In some embodiments, the configurable information tag may be extendable to increase the display height for further improving visibility.

Abstract: A wall panel system includes first and second support members, mounting brackets, a backer board, and a graphic panel. The first support member includes a first substantially planar panel and a first reception cavity. The second support member includes a second substantially planar panel and a second reception cavity. The mounting brackets are configured to each be selectively coupled with the retail display. A first mounting bracket couples the first support member to the retail display, and a second mounting bracket couples the second support member to the retail display. A rear surface of the graphic panel faces a front surface of the backer board. Top edges of the backer board and the graphic panel are each slidably received in the first reception cavity. Bottom edge of the backer board and the graphic panel are each slidably received in the second reception cavity of the second support member.

Abstract: A frame for a sign. The frame comprises a plurality of struts and corner brackets. The struts have an exposed front surface including a gripping means. Each corner bracket slidably engages with two of the struts at an angle. The corner brackets also have an exposed front surface including a gripping means. The gripping means of the struts is substantially continuous with the gripping means of the corner brackets so that when the corner brackets and struts are engaged to form a polygon, the polygon includes a substantially continuous gripping means that is engageable with a sign to mount the sign on the frame.

Abstract: This disclosure is concerned with a readily changeable sign display system which facilitates easy alteration of the sign indicia displayed but is also resistant to unauthorized tampering so that it can be deployed where it is not under continuous surveillance when exposed to the general public. It comprises vertical frame members which provide tracks for the insertion of horizontal frame members. In some embodiments the vertical frame members are joined to each other with a backing member while in other embodiments intermediate channel members are placed between the vertical frame members and adjacent members are joined by a backing member. The horizontal frame members carry grooves for the insertion of sign panels which carry indicia. The tracks for the horizontal frame members carry removable obstructions which hold these members in the tracks. The obstructions at the upper end of the tracks are readily removable.

Abstract: A rack system for displaying products comprises a rack unit supporting some of the products so as to be accessed at a forward facing product dispensing face. The rack unit has a side portion facing generally perpendicular to the dispensing face. A corner member is supported on the side portion and comprises a first wall portion extending generally forwardly to a vertical edge adjacent the product dispensing face, and a second wall portion extending generally laterally outward from the side portion to a second vertical edge. The first and second edges each have a retaining portion extending vertically. A flexible signage member is supported on the corner member in a flexed condition between the retaining portions with a signage surface that is concave outwardly between the retaining portions. The signage member is supported and retained on the corner member by a biasing of the signage member to extend wider than a distance between the retaining portions.

Abstract: A swatch and sign holder includes a base, a sign and a cover. The base includes a front face having a front surface, a back surface and at least one through slot extending from the front surface to the back surface. The sign includes a front surface, a back surface, at least one through slot extending from the front surface to the back surface and indicia printed on the front surface of the sign. The back surface of the sign engages into contact with the front surface of the front face. The cover secures the sign to the front face of the base. Each through slot of the front face and each through slot of the sign align with each other to receive a fabric swatch.

Abstract: A tabbing apparatus is provided that includes a pocket and a tab element disposed within the pocket in a retracted position. The tab element includes an indexing segment configured for protruding from the pocket in an extended position as a tab and for being received within the pocket in the retracted position, an anchor portion attached to the pocket, and an intermediate portion connecting the anchor portion and indexing segment and configured for folding to allow the indexing segment to move between the retracted position and the extended position. The indexing segment is configured for displaying writing thereon for indexing a file.

Abstract: A multipurpose rotatable tray includes a wall-mountable member rotationally coupled to a tray member, the latter being dually functional as (1) a horizontal support surface and (2) a wall hanging for an aesthetic article, while the tray member is in horizontal and vertical configurations, respectively. The tray member includes an opening for receiving a replaceable aesthetic article, such as, but not limited to, a painting or photograph. The tray unit may be automatically or manually coupled to the wall-mountable member when in the vertical configuration.

Abstract: Disclosed is a display structure in which an insertion opening, slide grooves, a first fitting portion and a ridged portion along which the display plate bends when the display plate is bent arranged in the loading sections of a support body in a suitable manner to ensure that when the display plate is inserted into or removed from the loading unit, a force is exerted on both sides of the display plate in either the direction from the display surface side to the rear surface side thereof or the direction from the rear surface side to the display surface side thereof, and a force is exerted in another direction at the center region of the display plate. As a result of configuring in this manner, the display plate deforms so that the entire display surface side comes to have a convex or concave shape, thereby allowing the display plate to be attached to or detached from the support body without forcible localized deformation of the display plate.

Abstract: A minimum bond assurance feature for a pi-joint assembly is provided. The pi-joint assembly includes a substructure, a member coupled to the substructure. The substructure includes one or more standoff extending above one of the lower side, the front side and the back side of the substructure. The standoff includes a space location control surface. The member includes a base, a pair of axially elongated leg extending from the base to define a channel therebetween. The channel of the member has a first channel side, a channel floor and a second channel side, wherein the space location control surface may contact the member maintaining a standoff distance between the one of the lower side, the front side and the back side of the substructure and corresponding one of the channel floor, the first channel side and the second channel side of the member. A method of assembling a pi-joint assembly of the present invention is also provided.

Abstract: A system and a method for advertisement for a business is provided. The contemplated embodiments of the system and method utilize a sign having interchangeable capabilities such that the sign may be changed based on promotional programs and or may be changed to display new design for advertisement. Additionally, a contemplated embodiment of the system and method utilize a sign that may be interchangeable and moreover may display three dimensional promotional materials including toys, small articles among others. The invention may comprise a plurality of parts including a first backboard portion having a plurality of slots wherein a second promotional material may be inserted in the backboard portions and may be removable inserted and interchanged based on desired promotions and display materials.

Abstract: A sign holder includes a sleeve, a support and a plurality of rings. The sleeve has a front portion having a first height and a back portion having a second height that is greater than the first height of the front portion. The back portion is connected to the front portion by a bottom connecting portion and includes a plurality of spaced apart apertures that extend through a thickness of the back portion and are located along the back portion at least partially above the corresponding first height of the front portion. The support includes a support member and a connecting member connected to the support member. The connecting member is substantially perpendicular to the support member and is attached to a backward facing surface of the back portion. Abstract: A holder of product identification indicia incorporated with a specifically printed illuminated sign in a beverage vending machine. The holder allows enhanced product identification relating to a separate, existing selection button panel. The holder is securely attached to the back of the illuminated sign that has clear viewing windows registered to the holder. Specifically, it is intended as a retrofit kit for existing beverage vending machines to allow the display of product contained in the machine by use of significantly larger product identification indicia than the existing product identification indicia. The larger display windows may be specifically correlated to the existing selection mechanisms by way of numbers, letters, symbols, connecting lines and/or colors.

The back plate is insertably received within the bracket by a recess formed therein and is supported within the bracket by a plurality of extensions projecting therefrom. Replacements of varying color and/or tint are included for the front plate and back plate to allow for interchangeability.

The signage system is adapted to be supported by the bracket in a cantilevered configuration.

Abstract: A flexible mounting system for supporting a sign from a rigid structure for minimizing damage that might result from an impact force on the sign is disclosed. The flexible mounting system includes a flexible sign mount having a support bracket secured to a sign and a stationary bracket releasably securable to a rigid structure such a bollard. A flex element can be interposed between the support bracket and the stationary bracket to permit the sign to translate and rotate relative to the rigid support when the sign is subjected to an impact load.

Abstract: Generally speaking, this is a card positioning device which maintains a card such as a greeting card or a postcard in a standing position. The card experiences a destabilizing moment. The card positioning device has a moment resisting section to resist the destabilizing moment and maintain the card in a standing position. The moment resisting section connects to the origin end of the longitudinal fold of the card and extends along the card edges from the origin to reinforce the card edges. The moment resisting section has a foot which has a heel and toe to resist the destabilizing moment. An ornament such as a flag, character or emblem can be attached to the base of the moment resisting section. The ornament, moment resisting section and card, may be inserted into an envelope and mailed to a recipient.

Abstract: An apparatus for displaying printed media includes a base member, clamps for securing the base member to a restraint bar of a ski-lift chair, and a top panel coupled with the base member such that the printed media is viewable from the ski-lift chair through the panel. A method of advertising at a ski area includes integrating advertising displays with ski-lift chairs of the ski area. Each of the advertising displays has one or more places to secure printed media. The method also includes inserting printed media within each of the advertising displays. Another method of advertising at a ski area includes integrating printed media within viewable regions of at least one media display system, and integrating the media display system with a ski-lift chair of the ski area.

Abstract: The invention relates to a tag holder profile or mother profile for fastening a removable tag holder, intended for equipping a shelf or the like, in particular shelving. The profile has a rear fastening section on the front edge of the shelf or the like. At least one clamping unit is fixed to the frame with at least one pair of clamps to securely the neck portion of the ridge such that the frame is reversibly but securely fastened to the frame.

Abstract: A point of purchase display includes a frame having left and right legs and upper and lower cross-beams. Each leg has upper and lower portions joined at an angle. The right and left legs are parallel to each other and are joined by a center cross-beam and the upper and lower cross-beams. Upper and lower display inserts are connected to the frame and fitted in the voids defined by the center cross-beam and the upper or lower cross-beam, and the upper or lower portions of the right and left legs, respectively. Upper and lower retaining members detachably connect to the right and left legs for securing the upper and lower inserts to the frame. An electronic display unit with a multiple source power supply is mounted to one of the upper and lower display inserts. A connection assembly attaches the display to the truck bedside.

Abstract: A menu panel for supporting elongated menu strips of varying heights is disclosed having adjustable guide rails supported by a frame. The frame includes vertical side frame members incorporating guide rail locating elements disposed along the length of the vertical side frame members to position the guide rails. The guide rails are selectively positionable along the length of the vertical side frame members to provide adjustable spacing between adjacent pairs of guide rails. The menu strips include descriptive indicia such as product names and pricing information and are disposed between and supported by adjacent pairs of the guide rails.

Abstract: A merchandiser includes a front door or wall portion which forms a barrier between an exterior side and an interior side of the merchandiser. The front door or wall portion holds a first display panel in a relatively fixed manner so that an exterior side of the first display panel forms at least a portion of the exterior side of the merchandiser. The first display panel including portions that are clear, so as to allow a user of the merchandiser to see through the clear portion of the first display panel. A replaceable graphics display panel, which itself has replaceable graphics cards thereon, is placeable in juxtaposition with an interior facing side of the first display panel, so that the replaceable graphics cards thereon are aligned with the clear portions, so that the replaceable graphics cards are viewable from the exterior side of the merchandiser.

Abstract: A sign transportation and storage device which is generally a rectangular housing sized to receive through an open end a number of rectangular signs. The housing is formed with an opening on one side so that the image or graphics on the signs within the device may be easily seen and the top sign may be physically accessed by the user. Alternatively, a substantially transparent window may cover the opening to prevent the signs within the housing from being damaged. The housing is formed with a notch adjacent the open end to provide a gripping area for removing the sign and a retaining strap may be provided to extend over the open end of the housing to keep the signs securely in the storage device during storage and transportation. Carrying straps may be employed to facilitate carrying the sign transportation and storage device, and storage pouches may be provided for tools.

Abstract: In a method and system for displaying information on a display mount, at least one one-piece information strip holder is provided having a clear window and first and second parallel channels for receiving a respective information strip. Information is entered onto the information strip. The information strip is slid into the first and second parallel channels of the at least one information strip holder. The information strip holder is mounted to the display mount.

Abstract: A display panel for use on a golf cart is composed of layered transparent panels and frame members adhered together. Two transparent panels are separated by a set of spacer members to form a cavity between the transparent panels. The cavity is accessible via an opening at one end of the display panel and is sealed with a removable spacer member inserted between the transparent panels. Two frame members are adhered respectively to each of the two transparent panels. The display panel is mounted to the canopy supports of a golf cart with clamps attached to each end of the display panel.

Abstract: A fabric display includes a fabric arm having a main segment that extends forward and terminates in a reverse bend segment at a front end of the fabric arm. A bend arm extends rearward from the reverse bend segment and is adapted to support a leading “salvage” edge of a fabric sheet that is displayed on the fabric arm so that a relatively clean “roll” edge of the fabric is presented to viewers at a front end of the fabric arm adjacent the reverse bend segment. Opposing fabric arms may be attached to a pivotable support arm to allow viewers to easily observe two separate fabric sheets supported on the opposing fabric arms.

Abstract: A point of purchase display and product holding carriage having an essentially horizontal portion attachable to a point of purchase counter and a vertical product or carriage portion extending approximately ninety (90) degrees from the horizontal portion and projecting downwardly and in front of the counter or display stand. The vertical product carrying carriage has a plurality of pockets for holding the product. The horizontal portion which attaches to and is secured to a counter top or point of purchase display stand has a channel or opening for receiving interchangeable placards which contains point of purchase graphics which can be seen since the unit is made of clear plastic. A rear panel of the vertically extending portion or carriage which carries and displays product also has graphic material which can be seen from the front of the product carrier since it is also of clear plastic.

An access port (such as a slot) is included in the front door or wall portion, and is dimensioned and oriented so as to allow a replaceable graphics display panel to be passed, for example, from the interior side to the exterior side of the merchandiser, so as to be placed in juxtaposition with an interior facing side of the first display panel.
