Abstract: A sign holder arrangement for the support of a sign from an overhead support. The holder arrangement comprises an upper sign holder assembly clamped upon an upper edge of the sign and a lower sign holder assembly clamped upon a lower edge of the sign. At least one outer support clip is disposed peripherally around the upper sign holder. The clip has a cable attached thereto and to the overhead support to hold the sign therefrom.

Abstract: A merchandising display assembly. The assembly includes a mounting portion adjustably coupled to a support surface associated with a first product, and a suspending portion for suspending a second product. The suspending portion coupled to the mounting portion, and the mounting and suspending portions are adapted for at least reducing interference with the visibility of the first product.

Abstract: A retail display article based upon an original photograph of a subject including at least one item of clothing and having visible portions of skin. The display article includes a back panel and a display photograph. The back panel defines a flat surface. The display photograph depicts an edited version of the original photograph such that the visible portions of skin depicted in the display photograph is configured to imitate a general appearance of a mannequin. The display photograph is disposed on the flat surface of the back panel. The display photograph and the back panel are collectively cut about the perimeter of the subject. Retail display systems and methods of construction provide additional advantages.

Abstract: A hanger for fluted polypropylene board has head and a shaft, the shaft having at least one barb extending outwardly therefrom. A variation of the hanger for a foam board comprises a head and a shaft with the shaft having a screw thread located thereon, the screw thread stopping short of a tip portion of the shaft.

Abstract: Taught is a suspended display apparatus, comprising: a plurality of display boards and hanging wires, the display boards being connected to each other via the hanging wires, wherein a top edge attachment point is set at the center of gravity on the upper edge of each display board, a bottom edge attachment point is set at one end of the lower edge of each display board; and the bottom edge attachment point of the upper display board is connected with the top edge attachment point of the lower display board via the hanging wire. A hanging plate is added on each display board, and is intersected with the display board to adjust the balance and shape of the whole structure. Each display board is featured with two-dimensional picture or three-dimensional physical model, which can rotate freely in a range of 0 to 360 degrees.

Abstract: A stepwise-adjustable sign hanging device for supporting a sign from an overhead ceiling rail. The sign hanging device comprises a front housing and a rear housing enclosing a rotatably controllable spool arranged to stepwisedly dispense and retract a sign supporting line therefrom. A finger actuatable biased switch is arranged for release and locking of the spool with respect to the housing. A pair of ceiling rail engaging clips are arranged on an upper side of the housing to twistably engage an overhead ceiling rail.

Abstract: A frame leveler is disclosed that automatically levels picture frames, and mirror frames. A pivotable, weighted bob is used as a gravity reference to control a lock that unlocks the extension of a cable on the side of a frame that is tilted up with respect to the other side, when the frame is not level. The extensible cable is let out until the frame is once again level, at which point the extensible cable is locked and prevented from extending further. When the frame side is tilted down with respect to the other side, or the frame is level, the extensible cable is locked and prevented from extending on that side.

Abstract: A hangtag is provided that is capable of hanging and securing a tool, such as a socket. The hangtag has a body portion having a front surface and a back surface, a hanging mechanism connected to the body portion, and a tool supporting mechanism also connected to the body portion for supporting a tool. The tool supporting mechanism includes first and second legs and a locking finger disposed between the first and second legs. The locking mechanism allows the particular tool to be reattached to the hangtag assembly after it is initially unlocked. This allows the hangtag to function as a storage and organization device for the tool.

Abstract: A mobile comprising a frame, one or more mobile arms, freely rotatable connectors, and display members provide a self-centering and balanced mobile. Freely rotatable connectors can include a spinner assembly and spring clips. The mobile arms and display members can rotate a full and continuous 360 degrees to display items such as photographs on multiple sides of the display member. Display enclosures include balanced construction and thumb cut-outs for ease of access to items displayed in the enclosures. Such self-centering mobiles can be mounted on a variety of surfaces, such as on a table, from a wall, on office systems mounting surfaces, on shelving, and on computer terminals.

Abstract: An elongated poster support arrangement comprising an elongated extrusion having an uppermost wall and a tapered sidewall which extends angularly from the uppermost wall. A central support wall is arranged between the tapered sidewall to define an elongated longitudinally disposed chamber between the tapered sidewall and the central support wall. The longitudinal chamber has a slot which is arranged to receive a lift tool to permit the poster support to be lifted to and removed from a ceiling rail. The tapered sidewall has a distal edge flange arranged to facilitate sliding engagement of a blade of the lift tool. The blade of the lift tool has a tapered lock member thereon for wedging between the flange and the support wall.

Abstract: A system for supporting display panels from an overhead support, comprising: two or more spaced-apart, elongated, hollow, extruded fixed rails which are attachable to an overhead support together with one or more spaced-apart, elongated, hollow, extruded moveable rails. A plurality of connectors are slidably disposed within the fixed rails, the connectors having a projection extending though an elongated gap in the moveable rail and into slidable receipt in the fixed rail. The moveable rails provide support for a display supporting clip.

The mobile may include one or more hanger assemblies for rotatably attaching the mobile (or various individual components of the mobile) to a mobile support or to other components of the mobile. One or more of the hanger assemblies may be adapted to be attached adjacent a plurality of different portions of a particular one of the mobile's support arm structures. This may facilitate adjusting a fulcrum about which the particular support arm structure is supported, allowing the support arm structure to support charms of varying weights and sizes and to, for example, remain in a substantially horizontal orientation while doing so.

Abstract: A banner is displayed about a tower structure, such as a water tower, by a system that enables ready substitution or replacement of the banner, without the use of high-lift equipment. The fabric banner is segmented, of wind permeable stretchable fabric, and mounted on rings that are carried on cables, suspended from a capstan atop the tower. Cable guidance pulleys, mounted on trolleys that run on a peripheral track about the top of the tower, enable the banner to be reoriented about the tower. The capstan and trolleys may be remotely controlled.

Abstract: An elongated poster support arrangement comprising an elongated extrusion having an uppermost wall, a first tapered sidewall and a second tapered sidewall. The first and second sidewalls angularly extend from the uppermost wall. A central support wall is arranged between the first and the second tapered sidewalls to define a first longitudinal chamber between the first tapered sidewall and the central support wall and also to define a second longitudinal chamber between the second tapered sidewall and the central support wall. An arrangement of gripping members is loosely disposed within the second longitudinal chamber. The second chamber is arranged to receive a poster therein for pinched securement between the gripping members and the central support wall.

Abstract: A system for storing and displaying pom pons is provided with a frame and a plurality of securement members positioned in a spaced-apart relationship with one another along opposite side portions of the frame. The securement members releasably secure the gripping portion of pom pons. A multi-segmented frame may be provided that allows the segments to move independently from one another. Spirit adornment may be provided to the frame as well as shaping the frame itself to exhibit such adornment. Various hanging and ground supports are provided for supporting the frames.

Abstract: A quilt rack or support which is used in combination with a quilt display or other related fabrics or textiles. The support includes upper, rear and side walls fabricated of wood. Each of the side walls includes an interior slotted area. The slotted areas are curved and sized so as to receive the end portions of elongated support rods. The elongated support rods include flutted portions. In the method of use, a quilt is draped over a top elongated support rod and retained in a display position via cooperation between the top elongated support rod and a lower elongated support rod.

The <<U>> provides the added resiliency while the holding element provides the holding surface to frictionally hold the material to be held. Additionally, a hanging tab attached to the holding element to allow for hooking on a frame hook or, in this context, mechanical equivalents such as a screw, a tack, or a nail.

Abstract: A lighting system for a sign consists of a bracket to be attached to the top of a flat sign, the bracket including a surface supporting a battery, a solar battery charging cell and a circuit connecting the battery to an LED lamp directed to illuminate the message on the sign. A second embodiment includes a box-type sign with a housing having a light-transmitting top panel, a message on both side panels, light-transmitting ends, and either one or two mirrors supported on the bottom angled to reflect light against the messages. A support bracket includes straps extending part way across the top panel carrying solar panels, batteries, and a circuit are located under the straps and one or more LED lamps are connected to the circuit and arranged to be powered when the ambient light becomes too low to properly illuminate the message or messages.

Abstract: A one-piece sleeve structure for securing the end of sheet material which permits ease in opening and closing on the sheet material during insertion or removal therefrom. Included are end caps for positive retaining of the sheet once inserted.

Abstract: A holder for decorative sheet material comprising two separate pieces, one piece for attaching to an upper edge portion of a sheet material and for hanging from a wall, the other piece for attaching to a lower edge portion of the sheet material. Each piece of the holder comprises a top plate and a base plate hingedly connected together, and means such as a post, adhesive tape or spring-loaded clip for connecting the sheet material to the base plate. In particular embodiments, spring-loaded clips both hingedly connect the top and base plates, and act as a means to connect the sheet material to the base plate.

Abstract: A hangtag is provided that is capable of hanging multiple tools. The hangtag has a body portion, a hanging mechanism connected to the body portion, and a tool supporting mechanism also connected to the body portion for supporting a tool. The body portion has a front surface and a back surface. On the back surface is disposed a hangtag attachment apparatus. The hangtag attachment apparatus comprises a bracket, and an elongated attachment bar configured to be selectively attached to and detached from the bracket. The attachment bar has a length that permits it to be connected to at least two and preferably more hangtags so that multiple hangtags may be selectively connected together. In this way, tools that would otherwise be sold individually can now be sold as a set.

Abstract: A rigid replica of a flag of the United States consists of a background, a field and a plurality of emblems, the background comprising individual U-shaped channels comprising colored red and white horizontal stripes, the field comprising a solid blue panel and the emblem comprising a white star, the channels affixed to spaced apart vertical rafters, the rafters forming a frame of the rigid flag replica, the channels alternately uprightly and invertedly disposed whereby an exposed surface of the uprightly disposed channels is disposed at a different elevation than an exposed surface of the invertedly disposed channels, the uprightly and invertedly disposed channels providing depth and definition to the exposed surface of the rigid flag replica, the blue field having 50 white stars affixed thereto in rows and columns, the blue field applied to the horizontal stripes in an upper left hand corner, the blue field overlying the red and white horizontal stripes.

Abstract: A display system for suspending visuals for exhibit, training or advertising made up of an assembly of commercially available items, and used to display a banner or sign in a manner that is particularly useful on the set of a local television station. One embodiment has elastic cords, slotted tubular members, floor anchors, cord hooks, cord locks and a ceiling interface. When a rigid sign is situated with its bottom edge positioned in the lower tubular member slot and its top edge in the upper tubular member slot, the sign is suspended for viewing. In another embodiment, horizontal rods are supported by two tubular members with portions of the rods extended beyond the ends the tubular members. Several banner clips are used to clip a banner to the portions of the rods extending beyond the ends of the tubular members to suspend the banner for viewing.

Abstract: A securement clip for supporting a sign from an overhead ceiling rail comprising a pair of sidewalls arranged to pinch a ceiling rail, a yieldable web connecting the sidewalls, and a hanger connectable to the web. The hanger is arranged to support a sign therefrom. The hanger may be a rigid shaft or a flexible cable. The web is of V-shape in transverse cross section, having a lower apex. The hanger preferably extends through an opening in the lower apex. The sidewalls have an upper edge with a rail engaging lip disposed thereon.

Abstract: A card mounting and display device for mounting and displaying a plurality of cards in any desired configuration. The device includes a fabric base having an array grid netting loosely attached to a first side thereof. The array grid netting is arranged to receive fasteners for attaching the plurality of cards to the array grid netting in any desired configuration. A pocket is arranged on the base for storing the fasteners. The device can be rolled-up or folded for ease of storage.

Abstract: An image display unit 10 comprises a light source 14 and a light diffusing panel 18, over which is mounted an opposed pair or retaining sheets 20 with a volume 22 formed between each retaining sheet 20 and the panel 18 for receiving an image-bearing sheet 34. An elongate opening 26, 28 for providing access to the volume 22 formed in each face of the unit 10 is located spaced from the edges of the unit 10, so allowing a user to access the volumes 22 regardless of proximity of the edges of the unit 10 to other units, or to a wall or the like.

Abstract: A sign system particularly useful for point of purchase displays is provided. The sign system includes an elongated trough for carrying one or more folding sign members. The trough is provided with a slot which because of its dimensions allows a media portion of the sign member to pass through the slot and hang below the trough member while the top of the sign member is retained in the trough. In one embodiment the elongated troughs are carried by vertical supports which attach to an existing shelving system. Other embodiments are disclosed for supporting the elongated trough. The folding sign members have a display position for displaying any messages or graphics carried by the sign member, and a shelving accessibility position in which the sign member may be folded allowing access to any shelving hidden by the sign members while the sign member is retained in the folded position by the trough.

Abstract: A work board assembly having a board and hook assembly mountable to a rail assembly, and the rail assembly is mountable to a wall. A flip chart holder may optionally be hung on the board to add versatility to the board. The hook assembly is rotatable, thereby allowing opposite surfaces of the board to be easily and quickly exposed. The exposed surfaces may accept markers or the surfaces may allow tacking of documents, or one surface may be for markers and the other for tacking. The rail assembly includes a bracket designed to be attached to a wall and to mount a rotatable cam. The cam is received by a rail and rotation of the cam causes locking engagement of the rail to the bracket.

Abstract: A three-dimensional, hanging decoration comprised of a connecting portion and at least one spiraling portion. The device transformed from a flat, lightweight sheet of flexible material (for easy shipping, storage and sale) into a three-dimensional, fanciful, eye-catching and air-current movable party decoration. The visual look and feel of the hanging decoration is that of a spent, thrown or unwound serpentine or party streamer. The three-dimensional hanging decoration may be provided with decorative ornaments which hang downwardly from various points along the connecting portion and/or the spiraling portion. When laid on a flat surface (for shipping and storage), the three-dimensional hanging decoration consumes a minimum of space in that it rests substantially flat.

A turntable is rotatably held in the passage, with a graphic holder attached to the turntable and thereby rotatably mounted below the sign mount. The display sign may be mounted in a ceiling below a light fixture so that the display holder will be illuminated.

Abstract: Parallel ribs are aligned and clamped onto a vertical spine, which is a slow-wave discrete-element torsional transmission line. The spine is attached to a motor which may remain ON for extended periods or which be operated by a chip or other mechanical or electronic means which turns the motor ON and OFF at variable intervals, causing the spine to twist, affecting an apparent spiral motion through the length of spine as the ribs rotate. The motor ON and OFF sequencing is set to coordinate with the length and material of the spine and the attached ribs and weights.

Abstract: Disclosed is a multipurpose hanging picture, wherein in case that generally used hanging pictures are connected in plurality, they can be connected and separated easily. For this, the multipurpose hanging picture comprising: a printed hanging sheet on which pictures, paintings, targets or dart games are printed; a hanging rod detachably coupled to one side or both sides of the printed hanging sheet; an advertisement unit mounted to the hanging rod and functioning as an advertisement; a hanging cap mounted to both ends of the hanging rod and supporting it; and a hanging wire coupled to the hanging caps and stopped by it. And said hanging rod comprises at lease one locking slit provided on an outer surface of the hanging rod, a reinforcing rib formed inside the hanging rod to support it, and at least one locking groove provided concavely on the outer surface of the hanging rod so that the advertisement unit can be detachably attached.

Abstract: A hangtag is provided that is capable of hanging and securing a tool, such as socket. Abstract: The invention is an apparatus and method of displaying indicia from a suspended ceiling. The method includes a first step of forming a substantially planar, sheet-like advertising placard. The placard has first and second opposing major surfaces with advertising indicia on at least the first major surface. A second step of the method includes arranging for the installation of the placard in a ceiling. The ceiling has a plurality of transverse, substantially horizontal support beams, which supports a plurality of polygonal, substantially planar ceiling panels. At least one replaceable panel, which is substantially the same size as the placard, is supported by a plurality of bordering support beams within the ceiling.

Abstract: A sign system is disclosed for use with a parking lot which includes a plurality of parking spaces. The sign system comprises at least first and second monuments, a plurality of signs, and at least first and second cable segments suspended between the first and second monuments in a spaced relationship to each other. Each of the plurality signs is disposed adjacent to and bearing indicia identifying a corresponding one of the plurality of parking spaces and is affixed to both of the first and second cable segments in a steadying relationship. The first monument includes first and second weights, each of which is coupled respectively to a corresponding one of the first and second cable segments, whereby tension is applied to each of the first and second cable segments.

Abstract: A wall hanging device that allows multiple arrangements of displayed items with a single mounting structure reduces damage to the wall while allowing great versatility in the display. The device includes a mounting base that is fixably mounted to a wall or other supportive surface. The mounting base includes a plurality of substantially parallel support pins. At least one hanger cord with one end that is used to attach to a display item, such as a photograph, and the other end received by a support pin. The display item can hang directly under the end that is received by a support pin or be supported by one or more support pills with the end of the hanger cord being received by an adjacent support pin. The combination of multiple horizontal placement of the cord provides a wide variation of horizontal positioning.

Abstract: A display assembly includes a panel for displaying indicia having opposed ends operatively connected to first and second channels. The panel has score lines adjacent each opposed end to define opposed flaps. The first and second channels each have a flange extending from one wall to adjacent opposed wall to define the elongated opening into the channel. A device supports the assembly from a support and a safety device loosely extends from a first channel to the second channel. Each flap is moved about the score line for insertion through the elongated opening such that when the flap is inserted beyond the free end of the flange, the flap is biased way from the panel to connect the panel to the channel.

Abstract: An apparatus for hanging decorative media comprising a body portion having a first member and a second member; a coupler to couple the first member to the second member at respective edge portions thereof such that the second member articulates with respect to the first member along the respective edge portions; a support to support the body portion with respect to a surface, the support being coupled to at least one of the first and second members; and a hanger to hang the decorative media therefrom, the hanger coupled to an interior portion of the body portion.

A spring biased detent (66, 70, 72) is positioned between the support member (10) and a stationary mounting member (68). The detent (66, 70, 72) permits the display panel (DP) to be swung in position about a first position (FIG. 1) and a second position in which it is positioned about 180 degrees from the first position (FIG. 2).

Abstract: A back illuminated ceiling mounted display panel attaches to the outside of the framework of ceiling panels and overlaps the grid of the framework to include a total covering of the ceiling light fixture with the panel on and or the panel off. The display attaches to either the outside or inside panel ceiling framework, and covers the actual frame of the ceiling fluorescent light box, or can attach to the frame of the light box. The attachment mechanism is a strip that clips the outer length of the framework of the ceiling panel to the frame of the fluorescent light box. When properly mounted, the strips are flush mounted on the ceiling grid system and attaches securely between the light box and the ceiling grid system, and or framework of the suspended ceiling.

Abstract: A display assembly includes a panel for displaying indicia having opposed ends operatively connected to first and second channels. The panel has score lines adjacent each opposed end to define opposed flaps. The first and second channels each have a flange extending from one wall to adjacent opposed wall to define the elongated opening into the channel. A device supports the assembly from a support and a safety device loosely extends from a first channel to the second channel. Each flap is moved about the score line for insertion through the elongated opening such that when the flap is inserted beyond the free end of the flange, the flap is biased way from the panel to connect the panel to the channel.
