Abstract: A sign guard for protecting pedestrians and pets from sharp edges of a sign is disclosed. The sign guard may have a recess within which the sign is received. The recess may be sufficiently deep to cover the sharp edges of the sign to mitigate injury to pedestrians and pets. The sign guard may have a through hole for lightening the weight of the sign guard as well as relieving stress to prevent warpage during certain manufacturing techniques. Additionally, the sign guard may have two (2) mounting pads which protrude inwardly into the through hole for mounting the sign and sign guard to a post. Holes may be drilled or preformed in the mounting pads that line up to the mounting holes of the sign. Alternatively, the sign may be mounted to the sign guard and post by way of a retaining clip.

Abstract: An assembly for attaching a flexible or rigid canvas (2) comprising eyelets (24) to a support comprises a rigid frame (4, 4?, 5, 6) forming the support, a first attachment means arranged to be directly secured to the canvas (2) and a second attachment means provided within the frame and capable of receiving the first attachment means. The second attachment means is formed of an open housing (3). The housing comprises two walls (4, 4?) which are spaced apart and are arranged opposite to each other. Each wall is provided on its internal surface (4?, 4??) with a notched or toothed portion arranged to hold the first attachment means when in use.
Abstract: A display device includes a body, a supporting member and a fastening member. The body has an accommodating portion, and the supporting member assembled to the accommodating portion for supporting the body is in the first state or the second state. The supporting member in the first state is switched to the second state when pivoting in an angle. The fastening member is detachably assembled to a first position or a second position of the supporting member, such that the supporting member is fastened to the accommodating portion of the body by the fastening member. The fastening member is assembled to the first position of the supporting member when the supporting member assembled to the accommodating portion is in the first state, and the fastening member is assembled to the second position of the supporting member when the supporting member assembled to the accommodating portion is in the second state.

Abstract: A frame hanger apparatus including a rectangular wall piece for attachment to a wall and a frame piece attachable to a picture frame. The wall piece has front and back surfaces, the front surface having a lower lip and an upper lip formed thereon. The lower lip has an arced top surface, and the upper lip has first and second elongated horizontally disposed mounting slots positioned therein. The frame piece has a lip projecting from the front surface which has an arced surface thereon. The arced top surface of the wall piece is dimensioned to dovetail with the arced surface of the lip of the frame piece and an overhanging lip on the wall piece is positioned so as to lock the wall piece and frame piece together.
Abstract: A picture frame for holding and displaying content. The picture frame has an edge with a channel receiving the content. An edge segment is attachable to and detachable from the remainder of the edge, using magnets, to allow insertion and removal of the content. A back has a front face to which the edge remainder is attached and a rear face including one or more magnets for attaching the back to a magnetically attractive surface. An optional stand has a plurality of elements that engage at least one of the back magnets to support the back in multiple directions and orientations. An optional hanger is made of a magnetically attracted material for engaging at least one of the back magnets and attach the hanger to the back. The hanger is configured to engage a fastener and hang the picture frame from the fastener when the stand is not in use.

The present invention includes a first panel having a front surface, a second panel having a back surface, a block attachment having a front surface and a back surface, the back surface being attached to the back surface of the second panel, and an attachment device having a first part that detachably connects to a second part. The first part of the attachment device is attached to the front surface of the first panel and the second part is either attached to the front surface of the block attachment or is defined in the front surface of the block attachment. Additional attachment devices may also be utilized.

The taller section is attached to a shorter section containing a second fresnel lens disposed within a frame.
Abstract: A system for hanging multiple pictures, photographs, picture frames, or other objects, collectively referred to herein as pictures, in a collage, using a regularly-spaced grid of pegs or other supports that are attached to a wall. Each picture includes one or more sockets, generally along the top of the picture, or one or more of its edges, although in some embodiments a picture can include sockets located elsewhere on the picture. A picture can be attached to the grid by placing it on the grid so that its sockets are supported by the pegs. In accordance with an embodiment, to add a picture to the wall, a user places the top edge of the picture over the grid until its sockets fit around the pegs, and then allows the picture to swing into the wall until it rests against the wall or other supports. To remove the picture, the user gently lifts the picture off the pegs and removes it from the wall. This process can be repeated with multiple pictures to create or change a wall-mounted collage.

Abstract: Pictures and picture backs are improved with the use of an easel back that is fashioned to be a double hook for hanging the picture on a wall. The double loop hanging system described in U.S. Pat. No. 6,405,466 is improved with the use of this device. The easel flap supports the picture on a surface and allows for the fastening of the picture onto the surface. When it is removed from the picture the easel flap provides a side adjusting means for hanging a picture level on a wall.

The container may be provided with a multifunctional stand therein. Alternatively, or in addition, the container may be provided with a frame for surrounding, displaying, and holding the container.
Abstract: A stand for a picture frame has a leg is provided which can support the frame in a generally upright position. The stand comprises a bracket coupled to the rear of the frame and the leg is receivable by the bracket in either of a first orientation, in which the leg lies against or adjacent the rear of the frame to minimize the bulk of the stand, and a second orientation in which the leg projects backward from the frame to support it. Engagement of the leg and bracket is by a projection, which is preferably formed on the leg, and a slot, which is preferably defined by the bracket, the projection being insertable in the slot. The bracket may also be adapted to receive a hook for hanging the frame, e.g. by inclusion of an appropriate cut-away.
Abstract: The present invention, a hermetically sealed picture frame, comprises a frame, a lens and a seal wherein the seal is an elastomeric seal, preferrably an elastomeric o-ring seal. The frame comprises a lens locking groove, a seal groove and mounting framework. The lens snaps into the lens locking groove, compressing the seal in the seal groove between the lens and the frame, providing a hermetic seal for a picture contained between the lens and the frame. The mounting framework is slideable over a mounting base that can be attached to a surface.
Abstract: A pole system for displaying picture frames includes a pole, mounting devices for holding the pole in a vertical position, and a plurality of sliding elements movable along the length of the pole to positions selected by the user. Each sliding element includes a connector adapted to engage a sawtooth bracket, wire, hole or other structure on the back of a picture frame. A plurality of frames can be displayed from the pole, the spacing between each of them and their relative rotational position about the pole being easily and quickly changed by the user. In the most preferred embodiment, the mounting devices include brackets for suspending the pole in a spaced apart relationship from an office furniture panel, and the sliding elements are spring steel plates with a pair of openings adapted to fit over the pole when the plate is bent into a curved position.

Abstract: A supporting device for a picture frame comprises a mount adapted to be securely attached to a picture frame back and a support piece. The mount has one or more pairs of opposite sides defined on a periphery thereof. The support piece is selectably received in a selected pair of holes in corresponding pair of opposite sides of the mount. Depending on which pair of holes is selected to receive the support piece, the support piece is adaptable to picture frames of different sizes.
Abstract: A picture frame support system is disclosed. In one aspect of the invention, a variety of free standing support arrangements are provided that cooperate with a support rail on the picture frame. The support rail defines a channel with a constricted opening. The support arrangement includes a coupling mechanism sized appropriately to fit within the frame support rail channel. An elongated support arm extends transversely from the coupling mechanism to support the frame. In one embodiment, a cam based coupling mechanism is described. In another, a slider based coupling mechanism that utilizes a pair of threaded studs to engage the support rail channel. In another aspect of the invention, an independent frame support rail channel is disclosed that may be adhered to a mount board or the like to facilitate hanging and/or supports such as the free standing supports described above.
Abstract: A display frame for a poster having a top edge and at least two side edges includes a resilient first edge support for the top edge of said poster, a pair of resilient second edge supports for at least the side edges of said poster, and a plurality of resilient fastening elements associated with said edge supports for fastening said edge supports together in a frame-like manner. A pair of generally L-shaped internal angle fittings are employed for securing the pair of second edge supports to opposite ends of the first edge support. The rear of the first edge support is positioned offset and forwardly of the rear of the second edge supports so as to define therebetween a display slot whereby a poster may be removably slid into said display frame from above, rearwardly of the first edge support with the lateral edges of said poster being slidably received in a slotted channel defined by the second edge supports.
