The placard holders include a backing plate; a holder portion movably coupled to the backing plate, the holder portion including an opening and a pocket extending from the opening for receiving a placard card; and a fastener coupled to the backing plate, the fastener being configured to secure a side of the holder portion to the backing plate to retain the placard card in the pocket.

Abstract: A snap together frame for displaying an image has a front that releasably connects to a backer. The frame can hold an image to display and allow the image to be exchanged without the outer frame being separated from the backer. The front is formed from J walls that surround an opening for displaying the image, the J walls have centering ribs that support and align the image. The backer has a back wall with an inside perimeter wall and is releasably latchable to the front. When latched, a channel is formed between the front and backer to receive the image that aligns with a slot in one of the J walls.

Abstract: A funerary article for the identification and perpetuation of the memory of a deceased individual in a timeless manner, made of unalterable material, includes: a marked element (1) with a unique code that is assigned to the deceased individual, and on a pair of plates (3, 4) held together by an attachment member, both being marked with the unique code, the second plate including data for identification of the deceased individual in natural language to constitute a device for identification and remembrance. The marked element (1) is available when the Funeral Services take charge of the deceased, whereas the plates (3, 4) are produced following the burial or the cremation and are then to be attached together to definitively form the article for remembrance and identification of the deceased. A kit and a process for the production of this funerary article for identification and remembrance are also described.

The sign holder includes a base configured to receive and support a first end to the stem, the stem having a first end and second end, the first end configured to be releasably retained by the base and the second end configured to retain a sign frame. Abstract: Index tab holders are movably mounted on top portions of file folders or data separation sheets to locate the tab holders in selected lateral locations without removing the tab holders from the file folders. Linear rails associated with the top portions of the file folders cooperate with ribs on the tab holders to mount and laterally guide the tab holders on the file folders.

Abstract: A picture frame molding according to one embodiment includes an elongated body that has an exterior wall, a first channel formed therein for receiving a first member, and a second channel formed therein for receiving a second member. The first and second channels are at least substantially parallel to one another. The elongated body also includes an interior angled wall that is joined to the exterior wall and is formed at an angle thereto. The interior angled wall includes a track that receives an object, such as matboard. The track faces away from the exterior wall and is formed between and at an angle to the first and second channels.

Abstract: A framing system to receive an item to be displayed is disclosed. The framing system may include a transparent front display plate to receive a support. The support may mount to the display plate to form a sleeve in spaced relation to the display plate and to receive the item to be displayed.

Abstract: A display frame according to the principles of the present disclosure includes a plurality of frame sections forming a rectangular perimeter around a backing member. Each of the plurality of frame sections includes a base member, a rotatable cover member hinged to the base member, a channel attached to the cover member, and a spring mechanism interposed between the base member and the cover member to bias the cover member in an open position and a closed position. In various embodiments, the display frame further includes an insert that is slidably received in one of the channels. In one embodiment, the insert at least partially forms the front face of one the frame sections and displays at least one of text and graphics. In another embodiment, the insert includes a mounting feature for mounting an object to the display frame.

Abstract: A display device includes a foam panel resiliently bendable from a generally planar configuration to an arcuate configuration, a sheet article, such as a picture, including a base sheet bearing an image to be displayed, and an adhesive carrier for adhering the base sheet in surface area contact with the foam panel. The base sheet is non-stretchable to hold and maintain the foam panel in the arcuate configuration, thereby enabling viewing of the image in curved form. A frame of a resilient foam material may peripherally surround the foam panel in the generally planar configuration with an interchangeable, compression fit. The foam panel self-conforms to any irregularities on a support surface against which the foam panel is directly mounted.

The tab element includes an indexing segment configured for protruding from the pocket in an extended position as a tab and for being received within the pocket in the retracted position, an anchor portion attached to the pocket, and an intermediate portion connecting the anchor portion and indexing segment and configured for folding to allow the indexing segment to move between the retracted position and the extended position. The indexing segment is configured for displaying writing thereon for indexing a file.

Abstract: The wall decoration of this invention is a molded fiberglass replica of a portion of a classic vehicle attached to an internally positioned mounting plate such that when attached to a wall the replica appears to be imbedded in the wall. The mounting plate is secured to a wall by means of a Z-bracket that is accessible through an openable panel in the replica. The mounting plate and Z-bracket mounting provide sturdy structural support for the replica and for a variety of internally disposed accessories for the replica as well as other utilities the owner might whish to incorporate to personalize the replica.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a photo display assembly that includes: a means to slidably receive a photograph: a matted border surrounding the means to slidably receive a photograph; and an opening created by the border that provides a view of the photograph. The means to slidably receive may include a substantially rectangular sleeve. The opening to view the photograph may be configured into as one of the following shapes: a rectangular, oval, star or square. The photograph may be received at the top of the display assembly or through either side of the display assembly.

The moment resisting section connects to the origin end of the longitudinal fold of the card and extends along the card edges from the origin to reinforce the card edges. The moment resisting section has a foot which has a heel and toe to resist the destabilizing moment. An ornament such as a flag, character or emblem can be attached to the base of the moment resisting section. The ornament, moment resisting section and card, may be inserted into an envelope and mailed to a recipient.

Example decorative items include printed photographs or digital picture frames for display of photographs.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a scented picture frame having removable scent boards attached in spaced relation to provide an aromatic ambiance with the display of an item such as a picture. The present invention features a holder on the back of the frame, capable of holding one or more scent boards in parallel adjacent the back of the frame, whereby an aroma is dissipated from a scented oil on the scent board to enhance the experience of viewing the item. Scents are impregnated into the scent board and retained by individually wrapping the scent boards for future use. One or more scents may be used with the present invention by hanging multiple scent boards on the scented picture frame. The scent boards may be removed and replaced when the scent is dissipated or to change the aroma. A picture pouch is used to protect the item in the scented picture frame from absorbing an aroma of the scent board.

An easel is mounted to the rear of the frame for supporting the frame in either a portrait or landscape orientation. A hanging apparatus is provided for mounting the picture frame to a wall. A plate with radially outwardly-facing substantially circular cylindrical surfaces attaches to the wall. A hanger mounts to the frame and has radially inwardly-facing substantially circular cylindrical surfaces seating against the cylindrical surfaces of the plate. The plate has a first lip extending radially outwardly of the cylindrical surfaces of the plate and the hanger has a second lip extending radially outwardly of the cylindrical surfaces of the hanger.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a picture frame holder which can accommodate a picture frame in either a vertical or horizontal orientation. The picture frame holder of the present invention includes a base with a slot and a vertical support having outwardly extending appendages, each of which has both vertical and horizontal slots aligned with the slot in the base. The appendages are spaced at a distance apart from one another which is substantially equal to the smaller dimension of the frame which it is to accommodate. Replacements of varying color and/or tint are included for the front plate and back plate to allow for interchangeability.

The substrate, which is preferably comprised of wall paper or a wall paper border, includes a permanent or non-permanent adhesive layer on a rear surface such that the display device may be attached to a wall, ceiling or other surface without the use of nails, tacks, etc. Likewise, the transparent pocket includes a permanent or non-permanent adhesive layer on a rear surface for attachment to the substrate. In use, the display device provides for easy insertion or removal of a display object, such as a photograph, picture, postcard, memento, etc., without having to detach the display device from the wall.

Abstract: A reminder card having a printed message is printed directly on the mailing envelope on the rear lower portion of the envelope and is perforated for easy removal. The reminder card is slipped into a window pocket on the front face of the envelope to display the reminder message. A base for forming the envelope into an upstanding display is formed by bending a flap on the bottom rear of the envelope upward into an arc and adhering the flap to a gummed flange formed from the outer edge of the sealing flap of the envelope to create a triangular shaped display capable of remaining upright. A magnetic strip glued to the envelope allows the envelope to be secured to a vertical ferrous surface.

Abstract: A combination picture retaining and item storing device that has an integrally formed plastic structure. The structure includes at least two sidewalls that extend from a base. At least one of the sidewalls has a hole formed through the sidewall. A storage area is disposed adjacent and integrally formed with the at least two sidewalls. A separate picture retaining member having a translucent planar body including first and second parallel portions are joined at a radius. The first and second parallel portions allow for retention of a picture in a gap formed by the opposing portions. Retaining features formed on an inner surface and around a periphery of the hole positions the picture retaining member within the periphery of the hole and allows for easy removal of the picture retaining member.

Abstract: The present invention provides for a photo display system having a decorative frame, an imaged transparency disposed on the decorative frame and a diffuser film disposed on the imaged transparency. The photo display system also has a base having a means for mounting the decorative frame and a means for attaching a diffuse reflector. The diffuse reflector is disposed behind the decorative frame as viewed from the imaged transparency side of the photo display system.

Abstract: Disclosed is a laminating frame employing a partial hologram, in which a photograph or picture is placed. The laminating frame includes a first laminating film of a desired dimension; a backing sheet adhered to the first laminating film and having a dimension slightly less than that of the laminating film; a partial hologram film disposed on the backing sheet and having a rim adhered to the first laminating film and a transparent window of a dimension slightly less than that of the backing sheet, wherein the transparent window is patterned with a plurality of dotted-hologram pixels and the rim is patterned on the upper and lower surfaces of the rim with a plurality of deeply colored hologram pixels; and a second laminating film adhered to the partial hologram film.

Abstract: A display device for displaying flat articles. The device includes a frame having a front side and a rear side. A transparent sheet is mounted to the frame at its front side. A planar mat having a plurality of cutouts in predefined shapes and at predefined positions is then positioned flatly against the transparent sheet. Thereafter, a planar article holder having a plurality of pockets wherein each pocket corresponds in shape and location to an associated cutout in the mat, is then positioned flatly against the planar mat. Each pocket is designed to hold one flat article for display. A planar backing is then mounted to the frame adjacent the rear side of the frame so that the mat and article holder are sandwiched in between the transparent sheet and the backing.

Abstract: The process for making a picture frame having printed border artwork on a transparent front panel with irregular outer and inner edges and having an attached rear panel having a picture frame folding stand therein. The process includes the printing of border art on a sheet of a material having a covered pressure sensitive adhesive backing and attaching it to the front panel. The front panel is then laser cut along the computer marked cut path to cut along the outside and inside edges of the printed border artwork while cutting a window therein. The cutout window is removed and a thin transparent polymer sheet is attached thereover. A picture frame back is cut with a foldout stand and is attached to the front panel to form the picture frame.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing cards and envelops decorated with embroidered fabrics is provided. Various kinds of drawings are embroidered on a fabric with threads of different colors. Firstly, a paper is cut into the shape of this invention. The first sheet of card stock is folded into four portions. A part of the first portion of the card stock, the frame, is cut out of various shapes such as heart, square, and star. The embroidered fabric is cut into a certain size and adhered to the rear side of the frame, on which peel off glue is attached, without applying any heat or pressure. The front side of the paper frame is decorated with, including but not limited to, various kinds of paintings, pictures, phrases and emblems. The card of this invention may be used as, including but not limited to, a season's greeting card, a congratulatory card, a business card, an invitatory card, a post card, and an envelop for previously recommended cards.

Abstract: The present invention is a message display apparatus that is preferably weather resistant. The present invention is comprised of a pair of parallel side frame members attached at their ends to a bottom frame member. The side frame members are also adapted to receive a pair of covers where at least one of the covers is visibly clear. The clear cover allows a message board to be displayed while simultaneously protecting it from poor weather. Additionally, a top frame member is attached to the message board so that it can be easily inserted into and removed from the message display apparatus.

Abstract: A combination picture retaining and item storing device that has an integrally formed plastic structure. The structure includes at least two sidewalls that extend from a base. At least one of the sidewalls has a hole formed through the sidewall. A storage area is disposed adjacent and integrally formed with the at least two sidewalls. The laminating frame includes a first laminating film of a desired dimension; a backing sheet adhered to the first laminating film and having a dimension slightly less than that of the laminating film; a partial hologram film disposed on the backing sheet and having a rim adhered to the first laminating film and a transparent window of a dimension slightly less than that of the backing sheet, wherein the transparent window is patterned with a plurality of dotted-hologram pixels and the rim is patterned on the upper and lower surfaces of the rim with a plurality of deeply colored hologram pixels; and a second laminating film adhered to the partial hologram film.

Abstract: A photo album having display inserts includes a base body, a first folding body, a second folding body, a base display insert, a first display insert, and a second display insert. The first folding body is pivotally attached to one side of the base body and the second folding body is pivotally attached to the other side of the base body. The first display insert is slidably received by the first folding body. The second display insert is slidably received by the second folding body. The base display insert is slidably received by the base body. At least one display window is formed through the first display insert, the second display insert, and the base display insert. A photograph or the like is attached to the area surrounding the display opening on a back side of the display insert.
