Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method for a sealed frame mount system. The sealed frame mount system may include a front protective surface, such as a thermoplastic, and a piece of artwork. The piece of artwork is adhered to the front protective surface. The sealed frame mount system also includes a rear substrate, such as sheet of aluminum, and a rear support brace for mounting the sealed frame mount system to a wall for display.

Abstract: A trading card (10) comprises a first substrate (14A), a second substrate (14B) and a spacer (16A). The first substrate (14A) includes a first card image (18). The second substrate (14B) includes a second card image (20). The second substrate (14B) is spaced apart from the first substrate (14A). The spacer (16A) is positioned substantially between the first substrate (14A) and the second substrate (14B) to maintain the first card image (18) spaced apart from the second card image (20). The trading card (10) can further comprise a third substrate (14C) and a second spacer (16B). The third substrate (14C) includes a third card image (22). The third substrate (14C) is spaced apart from the first substrate (14A) and the second substrate (14B). The second spacer (16B) is positioned substantially between the second substrate (14B) and the third substrate (14C) to maintain the second card image (20) spaced apart from the third card image (22).

Abstract: A multi-level picture frame configured for providing a plurality of alternative display options for an article is provided. The frame comprises a back face; a tiered front face; an outer face; and a stepped inner face including a first stepped surface and a second stepped surface. The first stepped surface defines a first picture frame opening and the second stepped surface defines a second picture frame opening. First and second channels are defined in the first stepped surface, and a third channel is defined in the second stepped surface. A removable portion of the frame is selectively releasable from a remaining portion of the frame so that the article can be inserted into one of the first, second and third channels and positioned in the respective picture frame opening.

Abstract: A funerary article for the identification and perpetuation of the memory of a deceased individual in a timeless manner, made of unalterable material, includes: a marked element (1) with a unique code that is assigned to the deceased individual, and on a pair of plates (3, 4) held together by an attachment member, both being marked with the unique code, the second plate including data for identification of the deceased individual in natural language to constitute a device for identification and remembrance. The marked element (1) is available when the Funeral Services take charge of the deceased, whereas the plates (3, 4) are produced following the burial or the cremation and are then to be attached together to definitively form the article for remembrance and identification of the deceased. A kit and a process for the production of this funerary article for identification and remembrance are also described.

Abstract: A display frame (1) has a front panel (2), a back or rear panel (3) and an artwork pocket (5) between the back and front panels. The front panel provides a border around an opening or window (7) to the artwork pocket (5). A slot (6) in an edge of the frame receives artwork into or allows artwork to be removed from the frame. A locking or cover panel (10) fits over or into the slot to close the artwork pocket (5). The frame can include an intermediate panel (4) between the front and back panels. The locking panel (10) can be retained in the slot by at least one locking mechanism such as locking tab (12) or (24). The locking panel (10) can be hooked into or onto the intermediate panel at one end of the slot (6) and then clipped into position by one or more locking tabs. One or more detent clips (50), can correspond with detent clip sockets or recesses (52) in the edges of the slot. Each detent clip (50) can have an arc shaped member in an end of the locking panel.

Abstract: A display apparatus is provided for displaying a jersey with a three-dimensional view with a vision effect of floating in mid-air in an enclosed environment. The display apparatus comprises an outer casing body, a front and a back clear screen, an inner support member, an optional desk support and an opening means. In particular, when a jersey is supported by the inner support member as provided, the support member is invisible such that it contributes to the mid-air floating visual effect. The display apparatus may further comprise components to achieve visual, audio and/or video effects controlled by sensors.

Abstract: A weatherproof gravesite picture frame assembly displays photographs, letters, cards, and other flat memorabilia at a gravesite. The assembly has a planar frame, an elongated stake, and an elastomeric collar. The frame has an inner recess for receiving a picture, a slot opening in its top surface for inserting and removing the picture, and a shallow channel along its perimeter. The collar has front and rear flanges and a raised wall that runs along its inner surface and mates with the channel of the frame.

Abstract: A binder for papers, photographs, or other sheet-like materials is provided with a cover having one or more window openings defined therein. A flat, transparent protective sheet is located in contact with the inside surface of the binder cover and a backing sheet overlies the protective sheet. The backing sheet is secured to the peripheral margin of the protective sheet, and elsewhere as required, to delineate at least one, and preferably a plurality of pockets. The pockets are formed between the backing sheet and the protective sheet. An elongated slit in defined through the backing sheet behind each pocket created. The peripheral edges of the backing sheet are permanently secured to the inside surface of the binder cover. Photographs or other flat display materials may be inserted into the pockets formed between the backing sheet and the protective sheet through the elongated slits. The pockets are delineated so that they are aligned with the window opening in the cover.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of placarding which is characterized in that at least one sheet (1, 1b), preferably of corrugated cardboard, is provided with printed matter on at least one side. It is thereafter provided with at least one score/groove (2) crossing the sheet, about which it is thereafter folded up into an easily transportable unit. At a placarding site the sheet (1, 1b) is then unfolded to its full size and applied in a holder (3, 3b) specially intended for this. The said holder is made to retain the sheet (1, 1b) in that at least one part of an edge area of the sheet is enclosed by the holder (3, 3b). The invention also relates to a system of placarding adapted to this method.

Abstract: A photoluminescent evacuation route kit includes a U-shaped base frame for mounting on a wall surface or door panel by screws, the base frame defining a mounting groove, a mylar transparency of custom graphics sandwiched in between a photoluminescent back drop and a clear protective lens and inserted with the photoluminescent back drop and the clear protective lens into the mounting groove of the base frame, and a top frame detachably fastened to the base frame by screws to hold the mylar transparency, the photoluminescent back drop and the clear protective lens in the mounting groove of the base frame.

Abstract: A puzzle frame kit includes a planar display having an outer periphery, and a plurality of interconnecting jigsaw puzzle pieces which, when assembled together, form a frame for the planar display. The interconnecting puzzle pieces include a plurality of primary frame members which cooperatively define a channel for receiving all but an exposed portion of the outer periphery of the planar display, at least one closure member which is configured to cooperate with the primary frame members to enclose the planar display, and at least one locking member which is interconnectable to the closure member and one or more adjacent primary frame members. A pair of legs are attachable to the frame which extend outwardly therefrom to support and hold the frame upright relative to a generally horizontal surface. The kit further includes paint and a paintbrush for decorating a surface of the frame either before or after assembly.

Abstract: Method for manufacturing a display unit, which display unit comprises a first plate-type element and a second plate-type element made of transparent material, situated essentially parallel to the first plate-type element and serving as a window, and a frame made of flexible material which is moulded in an undetachable manner onto at least part of the periphery of one of the two plate-type elements, and which holds the two plate-type elements together, while a replaceable picture carrier of sheet-like or film-like material can be placed between the two plate-type elements. The first plate-type element and the second plate-type element are place together in an injection mould, without the picture carrier placed between them. Subsequently, in an injection moulding process, the frame of flexible plastic material is moulded in an undetachable manner onto at least part of the periphery of one of the two plate type elements.
