Abstract: An interlocked sectioned art subsurface may include a plurality of removably interlocking panels making up the subsurface; a channel extending into an outer perimeter of the subsurface; and a security band, such as a tension spring, positioned within the channel and encircling the perimeter of the subsurface, the security band sized and positioned to secure the panels together. The plurality of panels may include a pair of exterior panels and, optionally, at least one interior panel, wherein the panels removably engage with one another via a tongue and groove system.

Abstract: A frame of an electronic device is a closed frame and made of plastic material. The frame forms one or more tooth structures at the corners of the frame to extend further out or to be compactly arranged to be pushed closer together for changing a size of the frame. Each tooth structure includes a plurality of rectangular teeth and a plurality of trapezoidal teeth. The trapezoidal teeth are positioned between the rectangular teeth.

Abstract: An elongated extruded snap frame member for biasedly removably capturing a display graphic for support and display thereof. The frame member comprises an elongated extruded frame receiving panel, an elongated strip of securement material applied to the frame panel at the time of extrusion and an articulable housing comprised of a cover and a plurality of articulable legs co-extruded with one another and connected to one another by a flexible web of material. A further flexible web of material connects the cover to a portion of the articulable housing, the further web of flexible material providing an axis of rotation for the cover when the cover is biasedly rotated onto the display graphic.

Abstract: A frame structure disposing thereon a specific one of plural display panels having at least a first thickness and a second thickness is provided. The frame structure includes a receptacle disposing thereon the specific display panel having a specific thickness equivalent to one of the first and second thicknesses, a set of first fastening elements, each of which includes a first protrusion, and a set of second fastening elements, each of which includes a second protrusions, wherein the sets of first fastening elements and second fastening elements are peripherally disposed around the receptacle, each of the first protrusions has a height corresponding to the first thickness and each of the second protrusions has a height corresponding to the second thickness, whereby the specific display panel is fastened by one of sets of the first and second protrusions having the respective height corresponding to the specific thickness.

Abstract: A spring loaded holder with a holder plate which is rotatable between a deactivated zone and an activated zone. When the holder plate is manually moved to the activated zone a cam action will be activated to apply a holding force to the holder plate for firmly holding objects of varied thickness. Such holders can be installed in a picture frame for holding a stack of art sheets. For a vertically mounted art frame a displayed art sheet smaller than the internal size of the art frame can also be held by this holder without shifting. Unused art sheets and associated mat boards can be mounted along with the displayed art sheet. Since all art sheets and mat boards are kept together, the change of art sheet display can be easily achieved any time if desired. Such picture frame can also be used for displaying and storing expired calendar books. The holder can be further modified and used in a variety of holding boards including fun boards, bulletin boards and poster boards.

Abstract: A housing for mounting a collector plate comprises, in a preferred embodiment, a base with at least one concave recess, a plurality of clamps disposed about the periphery of the recess and an opening in a rear surface of the base. In a preferred embodiment, the clamps have plate-engaging surfaces which are biased toward the recess such as by springs.

Abstract: An adjustable framing system for three-dimensional objects which has a three-dimensional shimming system and an access door in the rear. The access door allows objects to be easily inserted, and then temporarily removed for examination, and subsequently easily replaced. The framing system has a deep compartment for holding publications having a variety of sizes. The framing system is designed to accommodate varying sized publications by using matting in the front of the event programs, and a three-dimensional shimming system which includes vertical and horizontal shimming on the sides of the event program, and thickness shimming on the rear of the event program. An internal wall provides depth for an internal cavity which provides room for publications or other objects that vary in thickness. Separate display compartments may be provided for displaying tickets or descriptive labels for the objects in the frame.

Abstract: A picture frame capable of storing more than one picture, which includes a front frame member hingeably and removably attached to a rear support member, where the front frame member includes a frame surrounding a transparent display window and where the rear support member includes a picture compartment for storing pictures. The front frame member also includes a removable mat board mounted on the inside of the transparent window. The mat board forms a border on the inside of the display window and is releasably secured to the front frame member by flexible support arms. The front frame member and the rear support member are connected by a pair of releasable and interrelating fasteners mounted on the front frame member and the rear support member, respectively, for releasably securing the front frame member to the rear support member. The picture compartment includes an automatically adjusting, removable rear picture support removably mounted within the picture compartment.

Abstract: A frame element assembly suitable for forming the frame of a display holder, the frame element assembly having a base portion and a retaining leaf, the retaining leaf being pivotally mounted with respect to the base portion, the retaining leaf being held in a pivotal arrangement by a bow spring, the assembly being adapted such that in use the retaining leaf can pivot between an “open” position in which display material can be inserted or removed from the display holder and a “closed” position in which display material is retained within the display holder. The assembly is adapted such that the retaining leaf is removably mounted with respect to the pivot arrangement when the display holder is in its assembled state.

Abstract: A book display apparatus comprises a backplate, a clear cover panel and a decorative frame. Two separate book tensioners are provided to bias the two halves of an open book against the clear cover panel.
