Abstract: A spray brush includes at least one fluid-dispensing outlet which is positioned on a manifold and is, through the manifold, in fluid communication with a pump assembly, which is in fluid communication with a fluid reservoir. The manifold is contained in a brush head. A pump trigger is in mechanical cooperation with the manifold, and circumferentially surrounds a portion of a brush handle. Activation of the pump trigger is accomplished by depressing or pulling from any normal hand-held position without the need for additional rotation of the hairbrush.

Abstract: An airless applicator may deliver high/low viscosity liquids or semi-liquids, and contains a valve controlling flow between a product reservoir and an intermediate pooling area, while a narrow opening between the intermediate pooling area and a product dispensing chamber controls flow therebetween. This arrangement prevents backflow to the product reservoir, precluding an influx of contamination therein. Product delivery is by specially adapted applicator heads. In one embodiment, a plurality of prongs, and openings into the product dispensing chamber, permit application of mascara onto eyelashes. Alternating prong heights increases effectiveness in applying mascara onto all sides of a user's lashes. Other applicator heads are configured for lip product applications such as for lipstick, and for eye products such as eyeliner and eye shadow.

Abstract: A container includes a housing, a container body mounted in the housing and having an inner portion provided with a receiving chamber and a pusher movably mounted in the receiving chamber and having a surface provided with an outlet hole connected to the receiving chamber. The receiving chamber has a bottom wall provided with a stop portion. The pusher has a bottom wall provided with a pressing portion that is movable to closely abut the stop portion. Thus, the pressing portion can be moved to closely abut the stop portion so as to completely squeeze the cosmetic filling outwardly from the outlet hole and to prevent part of the cosmetic filling from being left in the receiving chamber so that the user can use the cosmetic filling to the maximum extent.

Abstract: The invention concerns a device for dispensing doses of fluid substances with different viscosities or densities, comprising a container (11), a piston (25) housed and sliding in a chamber (24) formed by a portion of the container, a load tank (33) formed by a remaining portion of said container and designed to contain the substance to be delivered, a metering mechanism (12) associated and moving with the piston (25), a preloaded thrusting device (27) associated with the piston with the metering mechanism to push it normally towards the substance in the load tank, and blocking means (12) between the metering mechanism and the container to alternately stop and release the piston to have it move forward under the thrust of said preloaded flexible device in lengths corresponding to a dose of the substance.

Abstract: A combination brush and dispenser apparatus for paste materials to be applied by brushing action, is provided as a brushing section with a first passage and portal leading to brush bristles and a matching dispensing section which supplies regulated amount of the material through a second passage into the first passage. The dispenser may optionally include a unitary apparatus with the two sections permanently attached, or a multi-section apparatus in which the brushing and dispensing sections are separable. Various forms of dispensing devices are described for controlling the quantity of paste material supplied to the brushing section for each separate use of the apparatus.

The inner hole 22 and the opening hole 28 are open by pressing and releasing inner moving body 10 and the cone type elastic part 24 and the spring 41 that formed in the middle member 20 can be control freely discharge and interception of cosmetics by compressing and the middle member 20 that composed to a liquid transfer passage 21.

Abstract: A cosmetics brush, and more particularly, to a cosmetics brush in which cosmetics liquid is discharged to a brush using the air pressure generated by pressing an inner body is provided. In the cosmetics brush, the lower part of the inner body whose upper part is thread coupled by a coupler and that includes a sealing ring in the inside thereof is pressed so that the cosmetics liquid stored in the inner body is discharged to the brush through liquid guiding passages and a discharge hole formed in a discharger and a liquid transporting tube due to the air pressure generated while the inner body ascends and descends to let a user apply make-up. Since the inner body thread coupled with the coupler can be separated and refilled with cosmetics liquid when cosmetics liquid is exhausted, the cosmetics brush is economical and convenient.

This liquid applicator further has inside its front barrel, a blocking element formed with a liquid flow passage so as to block the paint supplied from the storage tank whilst partly allowing the paint to be supplied to the tip side of the front barrel by way of the flow passage.

Abstract: A package for containing and dispensing a multiple-component liquid solution includes a product chamber member movably mounted within the sidewall of a canister, and defining at least first and second separate product chambers for containing liquids to be dispensed. First and second pistons are mounted in fixed positions within the canister and respectively slidably disposed within the first and second chambers. First and second passages extend from the respective pistons for feeding liquids displaced from the chambers through a manifold to a surface applicator mounted on the canister. Cooperating structure on the canister and the chamber member is manipulated by a user to move the chamber member within the canister over the pistons, and thereby to displace liquids from the chambers through the pistons to the manifold, in which the liquids are mixed and fed to the applicator.

The pump has a cylinder and a piston disposed within the cylinder, wherein the cylinder includes a cylinder inlet valve and the piston includes a cylinder outlet valve. Each operation of the pump assembly causes the piston to move in a first direction toward the cylinder inlet valve and in a second direction away from the cylinder inlet valve. The movement of the piston in the first direction causes the cylinder inlet valve to close and the cylinder outlet valve to open. The movement of the piston in the second direction causes the cylinder inlet valve to open and the cylinder outlet valve to close.

A valve is disposed in the fluid supply line. The valve element of the valve automatically opens the valve opening whenever downstream of the valve the consumer element has consumed a predetermined quantity of fluid. The valve is embodied as a capillary valve and downstream of the valve opening contains a capillary space that is connected to the fluid supply line, the capillary space being partially delimited by the valve element, which closes off the valve opening by the capillary force imparted by the fluid in the capillary space when the capillary space is filled with a predetermined amount of fluid.

Abstract: A method of storing and applying toothpaste to a toothbrush includes steps of connecting a threaded male end of a tube of toothpaste to a female end of a storage receptacle, forcing toothpaste from the tube of toothpaste into the storage receptacle, disconnecting the tube of toothpaste from the storage receptacle, connecting a male end of a brush member to the female end of the storage receptacle, and forcing toothpaste out of the storage receptacle and into the brush member, whereby the toothbrush is made ready to brush a consumer's teeth. A system for performing the improved method is also described.

Abstract: A hand held toy that releases a fluid when an external pressure is applied to a portion of the toy. The toy includes a cylinder typically shaped as a sword. The sword shaped cylinder has a handle portion that can be easily grasped by a human hand. The cylinder also has a blade portion that is covered by a soft foam material, so that the blade does not injure another participant when struck by the sword. Within the handle portion of the cylinder is a fluid reservoir filled with a pressurized fluid. The reservoir is connected to a valve and a valve piston located at the opposite end of the cylinder. The valve piston and valve are adapted to move from a closed position to an open position, when an external pressure is applied to the piston. Moving the piston and valve into the open position allows fluid to flow from the fluid reservoir, through the valve and into the ambient. The toy also includes a pump connected to the fluid reservoir, so that a user can manually pressurize the fluid.

A spring member is disposed between the cylinder and the piston for urging the cylinder downwardly. An exhaust valve member has two elastic plates extending downwardly at a predetermined interval from an upper end cylindrical portion formed in the piston, the elastic plate having opposed bent parts in a ring shape substantially at the intermediate thereof. A rod valve is disposed below the exhaust valve member, and an exhaust valve body is formed at the lower portion of the elastic plate of the exhaust valve member.

Abstract: This is a unit particularly suited for marking bingo cards and the like. The unit has an ink bottle that is attached to the user's arm. It also has an ink nib that delivers ink to a substrate such as a bingo card. A flexible tube permits the ink to flow from the bottle to the ink nib dispenser. The nib also is connected to the user's finger to a VELCRO Fastener or other suitable means.

Abstract: A fillable toothbrush provided with a handle containing a dispenser for toothpaste is disclosed. One end of the handle is provided with a stem through which a duct is provided from a storage chamber to an outlet adjacent to a brush arranged at the free end of the stem. An actuating element is provided at the end of the handle remote from the stem. When actuated, the actuating element moves a valve that closes off the storage chamber from the duct and pushes toothpaste through the duct to the brush. When the actuating element is released, the valve retracts and permits toothpaste in the storage chamber to flow into the duct. The dispenser toothbrush is of simple design and allows defined quantities of toothpaste to be dispensed in a reliable way.
