The upper end has an elongated stem extending upwardly therefrom. The elongated stem has a plurality of bristles extending laterally therefrom. The elongated stem has an opening therein corresponding to the bristles. A toothpaste tube is provided that stores a quantity of toothpaste therein. The toothpaste tube is received within the hollow interior of the cylindrical body of the toothbrush portion. The toothpaste tube is comprised of a circular base having an elongated tube extending upwardly therefrom. The elongated tube has an outwardly turned open upper end.

The hair brush applicator includes a hair brush with a handle portion and a head portion. The handle portion of the hair brush has a chamber therein. The head portion of the hair brush has a plurality of bristles outwardly extending from the front face of the hair brush. The bristles of the head portion comprise a plurality of narrow bristles and a plurality of wide bristles. Each of the wide bristles is tubular and has an open root coupled to the head portion and terminates at a closed tip. The hair brush has a passage therein fluidly connecting the chamber adjacent the neck portion to the open roots of the wide bristles. Each of the wide bristles has a plurality of lateral apertures positioned between the root and tip of the respective wide bristle. The hair brush has a rotatably mounted disk blocking the passage of the hair brush. The disk has a plurality of bores therethrough.

Abstract: A liquid applicator having a curved hollow handle and a sponge head assembly. Liquid is poured into the hollow handle or the hollow handle is threadably secured to a threaded neck of a bottle. The sponge head assembly removably mounts to a dispensing end of the hollow handle and includes a base and a sponge. A pair of aligned holes are formed in the dispensing end of the handle and the base of the sponge head assembly for allowing liquid contained within the handle to flow therethrough and be absorbed by the sponge. A valve assembly is provided to adjust the flow of the liquid from the handle to the sponge. The valve assembly may include a dial formed with a plurality of different-sized holes. The dial is rotatable between a fully open position, a closed position or several intermediate positions. Alternatively, the valve assembly may include a slide plate having a tapered opening.

Abstract: A toothbrush comprising, in combination, a replaceable container for holding toothpaste having an outlet and a brush portion having a plurality of projecting bristles and an extension adapted to be releasably connected to the replaceable container. The extension includes a recess. A tooth paste dispensing system comprising a tube and an actuating mechanism are mounted to the extension. The tube is connected to the outlet of the tooth paste container and has an open end. The actuating mechanism is operated to pivot the tube from a default position in which the tube is stored in the recess of the extension to a dispensing position in which the tube is elevated out of the recess and moved forwardly to position the tube directly over the bristles for dispensing toothpaste from the container through the open end of the tube.

In operation, as pressure is applied to the thumb lever, the sleeve rotates and the toothpaste wiping trough rotates around the toothbrush base plate and the plurality of bristles for evenly distributing the toothpaste onto the top surface area of the plurality of bristles, in a single wiping action.

Abstract: An applicator primarily for applying colorants and other treatments to hair includes a container to which is mounted, preferably releasably, a reservoir for the treatment fluid, the reservoir being provided with at least two, and preferably between six and ten nozzles. The bores of the nozzles communicate with the interior of the reservoir so that fluid can be expelled from the reservoir through the nozzles and onto the hair in a controlled manner. The applicator is particularly convenient for applying several narrow bands of color to the hair.

Abstract: This syringe for dispensing multiple doses of a liquid medicament one at a time has a cylindrical barrel for containing the medicament. At one end of the barrel is a single outlet opening. A plunger in the barrel discharges the medicament. A syringe cap rotatable mounted on the barrel has guide means restraining the cap against axial movement. Ratchet means on the cap and barrel permit only unidirectional rotation of the cap and sequentially retain the cap in equally spaced detent positions on the barrel. Nozzles on top of the cap have passages for ejecting the medicament. Each passage terminates in a hole in the top of the cap. Only one nozzle at a time communicates with the barrel vis the outlet opening in each detent position of the cap on the barrel.

Abstract: A golf equipment brush is provided for ease of transport and manual manipulation by individuals for the cleaning of golf clubs and associated golfing accessories to include a brush head mounted within a housing in a separable orientation relative to one another. The housing is arranged for selective torso or equipment support by directing a loop relative to the housing, and the brush including a matrix of bristle tufts mounted to a floor of the brush head. A first embodiment of the invention includes the brush head arranged for a snap-fit interconnection within the housing along a floor thereof, with a second embodiment including a spring-biased interconnection of the brush relative to the housing. A further embodiment of the invention includes the brush head pivotally mounted relative to the housing for selective release therefrom for ease of manual manipulation of the brush in use.

The housing includes as matrix of wire brushes orthogonally mounted to each end of the housing, with a first end including a projection for positioning within a side mount terminal battery, with the second end providing a cylindrical cavity for receiving a terminal for securement to the associated side mount battery. A modification of the invention includes a central reservoir receiving a cleaning solution that is selectively directed through each terminal end of the housing for enhanced cleaning of the associated battery and connector.

Abstract: The hand held shower apparatus of this invention includes a shower body having a hollow handle connectable at one end to a source of water and a shower head, water regulating means for regulating the supplied water into two different water streams, one with a showering effect and the other with a massaging effect, and a cap member having a perforated bottom surface with two groups of holes for the two water streams. The hollow handle is constructed in such a way that it can be extended by pulling it away from the shower head. The shower apparatus also has a shower utensil, such as a shower brush, connected with the cap member in such a way that the shower utensil moves up or down when rotated clockwise or counterclockwise with respect to the cap member. Construction of the shower apparatus has been made simple so that it can be assembled or disassembled with ease. Other embodiments of the shower utensil are also presented.

An apparatus for applying the pomade is employed that includes a container that has three chambers. The first chamber is for storing a plurality of cotton balls, the second chamber is for storing and dispensing alcohol and the third chamber is for storing and dispensing the pomade through a brush thereon for application to a person's body.

Abstract: Window cleaning apparatus is described which has a cleaning head that is rotatable to any position when used on a window surface. The apparatus includes a rotatable sleeve coupling which is positioned between the cleaning head and the handle for the apparatus. A cleaning element, such as a wiper, cleaning pad, sponge or brush, is attached to the cleaning head. Because of the rotatablity of the cleaning head, the apparatus effectively cleans edges and corners of windows of any shape. The described apparatus optionally includes a fluid supply conduit for delivering a cleansing fluid from a pressurized source to a fluid distribution conduit positioned on the cleaning head. The fluid distribution conduit contains perforations which enable fluid to be sprayed onto a window surface.

An applicator/brush is detachably coupled to the container by mating with the annular flange of the container. The applicator/brush has at least one opening thereto. Abstract: A two piece brush for dispensing and applying a material in gel form comprises a brush element having a plurality of bristles and an elongated handle pivotably secured to the brush element for movement from a position adjacent the brush element to a position substantially at right angles to the brush element. An opening is provided extending through the brush element to the bristles which aligns with an opening in the elongated handle entering into a gel retainer in the handle, when the handle is positioned at right angles to the brush element. A flange disposed on the brush element is effective to seal off the opening in the elongated handle with the elongated handle positioned adjacent the brush element.

A hollow capsule filled with cosmetic powder is closed at one end and open at the other. The capsule is inserted into the first member with the capsule open end adjacent the second end and communicating with the channels. A second hollow cylindrical member has opposite open third and fourth ends. The inner surface of the second member adjacent the third end is threaded. The second end rotatably engages the third end. A hollow cylindrical element is disposed in the second member and is open at both ends. The element has a thread on its outer surface which engages the inner surface thread of the second member. The element has a like plurality of prongs which are engagable with and disengagable from the channels.

The second and third ends are rotatably engaged. An elongated member is slidable in the slot and has a chamber and a transversely disposed prong. The prong rides in the groove and is moved back and forth in the slot as the first and second members are rotated relatively to each other. These members have a first rotational position at which the chamber and opening are aligned and a second rotational position at which the hole and opening are aligned.

The other end of the first member has a plurality of spaced openings. A second hollow elongated member has one end with like openings which is engaged to the other end of the first member. A third elongated hollow member has an open end detachably engaging the opposite end of the second member. A brush having parallel bristles with powder applying tips is disposed in the third member with the tips disposed adjacent the second member.

A second elongated hollow member has a first end with a like plurality of like openings and a second open end, the second member rotatably engaging the first member with the first end of the second member adjacent the second end of the first member. The first and second members have a first position of relative rotation at which the openings in the two members are aligned and a second position of relative rotation at which the openings in the two members are out of alignment.

Abstract: A hair grooming device includes a brush head surrounded by a rotatable cover member having a lateral opening through which bristles on the brush head are exposable. A handle for the brush head includes a reservoir for a liquid treating agent and communicates through a passage in the brush head with small dispensing holes spaced among the bristles. The cover member is rotatable between a bristle exposed position in which the bristles are exposed through the lateral opening, and a bristle storage position in which the bristles are concealed within the cover member. The adjustable brush head is capable of being closed so that premature or accidental discharge of the dentifrice material while either in storage or in use does not occur.

Abstract: A brush assembly, attachable to a pressurized water line, produces at least two alternating pulsating jet discharges of water. One discharge comprises a linear stream and the other comprises a spray. A nozzle housing detachably mounted on the head of the brush assembly is employed to deliver the intermittently, interrupted or pulsating water jet discharges. Water passing through the brush assembly and the housing drives a turbine blade assembly in the housing. In turn, the turbine blade assembly rotates rotatable valve member at a rotary speed dependent upon the initial pressure of water entering the brush assembly. Water flows through an inlet of the housing through two flow paths. In one flow path, water flows through a valve port in the valve member and out through the discharge orifices in the housing. In the second flow path, water flows around the valve member and out through the discharge orifices and housing.
