Abstract: A mechanical pencil incrementally rotates a lead by operation of a touch button. The pencil has a barrel in which is disposed a holder. A rotatable pipe having a writing mechanism assembly incorporated therein is attached rotatably to the holder. Around the periphery of the holder, a slide member is disposed to undergo forward and rearward movement, and the slide member is moved forward by pressing the touch button disposed on the barrel. The holder houses a sleeve which is moved forward by the slide member and which turns in a circumferential direction. A rotation-transmitting cam face is provided on each of a front end face of the sleeve and a rear end face of the rotatable pipe. By the forward movement of the sleeve, the cam faces are engaged with each other to incrementally rotate the rotatable pipe, whereby the lead is incrementally rotated.

The upper casing has a first end, a length and an inner surface. The lower casing is combined with the upper casing to define a chamber between the lower casing and the upper casing, and the lower casing has an end, a length and an inner surface. The end of the lower casing is pivotally connected with the first end of the upper casing. The length of the lower casing is longer than that of the upper casing. The inner surface of the lower casing faces to and is spaced from the inner surface of the upper casing. The engagement device is disposed on the inner surfaces of the upper casing and the lower casing.

Abstract: A offset pen includes a holding part, a writing end and a connecting part connected therebetween, in which the writing end and the holding part are disposed on different axes. When the user is operating the writing tool, the holding part inclines naturally while the writing end keeps vertical to the writing surface, and the writing result can be observed through the visible space formed between the writing end and the holding part. A holding end is disposed at the front end of the holding part of the writing tool, and each surface of the holding end can be twisted into irregular surfaces. Since the holding part, the connecting part and the writing end are substantially arranged as a Z letter, a perfect fitting feeling of the fingers can be created. Therefore, different users can feel comfortable and the fingers of the users with different holding poses can be naturally directed to a correct holding position, so as to form various geometric states suitable for hand holding.

Abstract: A mechanical crayon pen with an internal cartridge to hold multiple crayon sticks has a transparent barrel (10) with an open top, an inner diameter and an inner surface, a thrust device (20) mounted inside the transparent barrel (10) and a thrust actuator (30) mounted on the open top of the transparent barrel (10). The thrust device (20) has an inner tube (21) movably mounted inside the transparent barrel (10). The inner tube (21) has an outer surface and an outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the transparent barrel (10) to form a space (13) in the mechanical crayon pen to store multiple crayon sticks. Multiple longitudinal grooves may be defined in the inner surfaces defining the space (13) to hold individual crayon sticks.

Abstract: A side knock-type mechanical pencil comprises: a barrel, a push member supported on the side wall of the barrel, and a sliding tube longitudinally slidably inserted in the barrel so as to correspond to the push member and internally provided with a lead passage. An angular cam portion formed in a middle portion of the sliding tube has a stepped surface consisting of a high slope and a pair of low slopes. The pair of side members of the push member touch the pair of low slopes in the initial stage of the pushing operation, and the top member which joins the pair of side members the high slope in a final stage of the pushing operation. The axis of a back portion is displaced from the axis of the barrel to a side opposite the side of the push member. A funnel-shaped lead receiving portion is formed integrally with the back portion at the back end of the same.

Abstract: This invention relates to a writing implement including an elongated tube having an upper open end and a lower end in which a clamping device and a propelling device are mounted, as well as a central bore extended from the upper open end to the clamping device. The central bore of the elongated tube includes an upper section as well as a lower section the diameter of which is smaller than that of the upper section. The lower section is provided with a plurality of radial grooves extended from the lower section for the purpose of receiving the leads. A lead supplying rod is rotatably fitted in the lower section of the central bore. The lead supplying rod has a through bore connected with the clamping device and a slot radially extended from the through bore thereof. The slot of the lead supplying rod communicates with one of the grooves of the tube and permits the leads to singly enter the through bore.

Abstract: A lead-replaceable writing implement including an outer tube, an inner rod received in the outer tube and formed with multiple lead channels and a push rod, a rotary tube partially inserted into a lower end of the outer tube, and a lead holder received in the rotary tube and partially protruded beyond the lower end thereof, wherein the multiple lead channels respectively contain several series of leads of different hardness, and the rotary tube is formed with a lead stop whereby when rotating the rotary tube to locate the lead stop right above a lead channel and then push the inner rod upward, the lead stop will stop a lowest lead with desired hardness from rising and drop the stopped lead into the lead holder, and when thereafter pressing the inner rod downward, the push rod thereof will partially protrude the dropped lead beyond the lead holder for writing.

Abstract: A mechanical pencil includes a tube-like housing having lead cavities annularly provided around an operating central rod. Leads from the cavities are discharged into a lead guiding passage through a rotary lead discharge member which is provided above the lead guiding passages and has a lead discharge passage. The lead discharge member is cooperatively associated with the rod so as to turn, upon depression of the rod, between a first position in which the lead enters the lead discharge passage from one of the lead cavities and a second position in which the lead enters the lead guide passage from the lead discharge passage.

Abstract: A writing instrument comprises a plurality of slots for holding writing implements such as colored leads, the slots being formed radially in the inner wall of a cylindrical body. The instrument comprises a guide tube mounted coaxially within the cylindrical body and having an opening which can be aligned any one of the slots, a cover plate provided at the opening of the guide tube and adapted to be tilted by the operation of a knock cap, and a chuck provided to the front end of the guide tube. A selected writing implement in the slot is allowed to drop by gravity into the guide tube from the tilted cover plate and then is clamped by the chuck.
