Abstract: A stick-shaped paper container according to the present invention is introduced herein, and comprises a covering body, a base seat and a sleeving unit, the respective entire structure of all which is integrally compression-molded with only rendering positive draft angles, respectively, only by a wet-fiber pulp-molding process applied for wet plant-fibrous pulps, thereby being capable of simplifying its mold assembly and lowering its mold cost. The covering body, the sleeving unit and the base seat are assembled together into the entire stick-shaped paper container having a container height-to-width ratio between 2˜5.5.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a dispenser for a product in stick form (50). The dispenser includes an inner tube (12) and a product concealing tube (16) disposed outwardly of the inner tube (12). The product concealing tube (16) is retractable and extendable relative to the inner tube (12) for exposing and covering a product stick (50) extending from a distal end of the inner tube (12) in use. The method includes: providing a first blank of sheet material for providing the inner tube (12) of the dispenser; wrapping the first blank around a mandrel to provide the inner tube (12) of the dispenser; and providing a second blank of sheet material for providing the product concealing tube (16) of the dispenser. The second blank comprises a slot, and a guide element (38) disposed within the slot.

Abstract: A device to dispensing a compound has a movable support arranged in a device housing in order to act on the compound, and a rotary handle in order to move the support between a lower starting position and a maximum upper extended position of the support. The handle has a spindle which can be rotated about a longitudinal axis provided in the movement direction of the support. A spindle nut is additionally provided on the support. The spindle nut has a length in the direction of the longitudinal axis, the length being greater than the distance between the lower starting position and the maximum upper extended position in the movement direction of the support. According to another solution, a combination of the support, the spindle, and the compound can be inserted into the device housing from the top for connecting to the rotary handle.

Abstract: The present invention relates to three stick product containers. One has a removable top cap with a crown and a hollow base, such that the top cap can be removed and inserted into the hollow base. The top cap has associated with it a thumb lever push ring to prevent the stick from rolling when laid horizontal. The other container is more suitable, for example, for a lip balm that has a top cap with a living hinge that can be flipped all the way back, inserted into a plug insert hole in the base of the cap, and then the cap is used to support the container in an at rest position to prevent it from rolling.

Abstract: A coaxial container for dispensing a tubular product has an inner tube connected to a rotating base allowing the inner tube and the rotating base to rotate relatively. A plurality of elastic latches are arranged in a full circle and disposed on a bottom portion of the inner tube connected to the rotating base, each elastic latch has a harder and thicker first potion and a softer and thinner second potion, and the first potion of the elastic latch is capable of making contact with the inner tube.

Abstract: A rotating cosmetics case, including a cap or crown (1) mounted in the lower portion, in the extension of a sheath (2) with slide(s) (10) including in the upper portion an upper stopping element (8) protruding outwardly, in which is mounted a slideable cursor (3), intended to receive a cosmetics product, such as a stick of lipstick or lip cream, the cursor (3) being equipped with at least one lug (7) engaged in the slider (10) and extending into a spiral groove (6) of a spiral covering (4), the covering being fitted on the sheath (2), while the crown (1) comprises a body piece (16), supporting an upper portion including flexible strips (14) whose ends interact with the inner wall of the spiral covering (4), while the crown (1) further includes at least one flexible tab (15) whose upper end is assembled with the lower end of the spiral covering (4).

Abstract: A lock unit for a cosmetic holder. The lock unit has a lock placed around a base of the cosmetic holder. The base of the cosmetic holder is normally rotated to dispense the required amount of cosmetic. The lock is used to prevent the base of the cosmetic holder from spindling and dispensing cosmetic, when the cosmetic holder is not in use. The lock is removed to release locking around the base of the cosmetic holder. The locking around the base of the cosmetic holder is released to allow a user to spin the base of the cosmetic holder to dispense more cosmetic when required.

Abstract: One aspect of the present invention provides an adhesive applicator in which the body of solid adhesive has an improved configuration. The applicator comprises a housing having a longitudinally extending internal chamber; a body of solid adhesive within the internal chamber of the housing; and an adhesive pusher for pushing the body of the solid adhesive forwardly within the internal chamber through an opening in a forward end of the housing. The body of solid adhesive has a longitudinal configuration between its ends defined by two essentially flat surfaces each meeting at an apex and a curved surface extending between the flat surfaces opposite the apex.

Abstract: There is provided a tubular case that can selectively perform coupling release operation of a cap, and removal operation of a refill case using a common operating member. A tubular case 10 includes a case 15 including a refill case 13 for supporting an item to be received in an advanceable and retractable manner with respect to a case body 11, a cap 18 for closing an opening 40 of the case 15, and an operating member 20 mounted on the outer periphery side of the case body 11. Abstract: The invention concerns an applicator device comprising a storage means for storing a product to be applied, and an increased pressure-producing device having an elastic device, wherein the elastic device is designed to press with its elastic return force against a boundary means of the storage means, to produce an increased pressure in the storage means. In accordance with the present invention it is provided that the increased pressure-producing device is controllable to provide a reduction in the pressure in the storage means.

Abstract: A pen includes a vertical pen barrel, a mounting seat mounted fixedly on a top end of the pen barrel, and a molded metal unitary unit. The unit includes a pen top disposed swingably on the seat, and a pen clip extending integrally and downwardly from the pen top. The clip has a clamping end, which is movable relative to the pen barrel between a clamping position, where the clamping end presses against the pen barrel, and a releasing position, where the clamping end is spaced apart from the pen barrel. A biasing unit biases the clip to the clamping position.

Abstract: There is provided a device for recovering and dispensing the unusable portion of a pasty substance, such as that of a personal health and beauty product, that is located in the base portion of the original packaging. The device includes a casing having a closed end, an open end and a wall extending between the closed end and the open end. An extractor is associated with the casing and has a predetermined cross-section and an inner surface that cooperate to exert gripping forces to maintain a pasty substance in the extractor. There is a dispenser also associated with the casing and operable to overcome the gripping forces of the extractor to expel a pasty substance being maintained in the extractor.

Abstract: A stick for the application of a colored composition to scratches, nicks or chips in a painted substrate, such as a vehicle body, is provided. The stick fills in, masks and seals the scratches, nicks or chips producing a finish that has a final appearance substantially similar to the surrounding vehicle finish and maintains water and rust repellency over repeated washings and exposure to the elements. The stick includes a structuring substance containing one or more waxes, a pigment, and a wax soluble liquid silicone polymeric material. In one preferred embodiment of the invention, the stick comprises an acid wax derived from montan wax, a paraffin wax, carnauba wax, pigment and a wax soluble liquid silicone polymeric material including polydimethyl siloxane and hydrocarbon groups. In another embodiment of the invention, the stick is conveniently mounted in an applicator of the lipstick holder type.

Between these ends, it passes through the plunger (2) and is in engagement therewith via a screw thread (3c). Said rod (3) is rotated by a ratchet wheel (10) controlled by a side push-button (6). The applicator device allows a viscous product such as nail varnish to be delivered, for example to a brush.

Abstract: A hand-held, manually-actuated dispenser for selective discharge of a stored fluid includes a discharge outlet and a reciprocatable actuating member movable between a first position normally closing the outlet and a second position opening the outlet to enable a discharge of stored fluid. The actuating member carries an inadvertent-actuation locking element which is automatically engageable with an inwardly-displaceable portion of the dispenser housing. When an associated closure cap is seated about the discharge end of the dispenser during periods of nonuse of the device, the housing portion is inwardly-displaced by the cap into cooperative engagement with the locking element whereby movement of the actuating member out of its first, outlet-closing position and, accordingly, any release of stored fluid from within the dispenser interior are prevented.
