Abstract: The retractable test probe includes a main sleeve, a needle and a rotation positioning mechanism. The needle is rooted in the main sleeve. The rotation positioning mechanism includes an eccentric incoaxially fastened to the needle and a flexible sleeve around the eccentric and in the main sleeve. When the needle is turned towards a specific direction, the eccentric will be firmly fastened in the main sleeve through the flexible sleeve, when the needle is turned reversely, the eccentric will be released from the flexible sleeve to be retractably movable.

Abstract: To prevent malfunction of a rod-like body feeding container, a pipe member (4) is moved forward with respect to a leading tube (3) by utilizing a first engagement portion (8) in accordance with a relative rotation between a main body (1) and a leading tube (3), a rod-like body (M) is moved forward with respect to the pipe member (4) by utilizing a second engagement portion (9) independently provided with the engagement portion (8) in accordance with the relative rotation so as to be protruded from the pipe member (4) to be in a use state on the basis of the forward moving operations, and the pipe member (4) is moved backward with respect to the leading tube (3) by utilizing the first engagement portion (8) in accordance with the relative rotation to feed back the pipe member (4) to a non-use position within the leading tube (3).

Abstract: A cosmetic stick container includes a housing sleeve, an inner sleeve provided inside the housing sleeve so as to be advanceble and retractable along a length of said housing sleeve, a cosmetic stick molded directly inside the housing sleeve having a capsule attached thereto so as to be secured to the inner sleeve, and a mold lubricant constituted of a composition having low compatibility with a composition of the cosmetic stick. The mold lubricant is applied on inner surfaces of the housing sleeve and the capsule.

Abstract: A composition, in particular a physiologically acceptable composition, comprising at least one liquid fatty phase structured with at least one structuring polymer comprising a polyamide skeleton comprising ester end groups comprising at least one chain chosen from alkyl and alkenyl chains containing from 4 to 42 carbon atoms, combined with at least one amphiphilic compound with a hydrophilic/lipophilic balance (HLB) value of less than 8. This composition can be in the form of a stick of lipstick, even in the absence of wax, can give good impact strength and, when applied, gives a glossy, non-migrating deposit.

Abstract: A case for a stick-type cosmetic preparation which enables selective protrusion and retraction from and into the case. The case includes a main body having an elongated bore dimensioned for sliding receipt of the cosmetic preparation therein, and a cover hingedly mounted to an end of the main body to open and close access to the bore. The case further includes a sleeve coupled between the main body and the cosmetic preparation that slides up and down a longitudinal axis of the main body in a manner contacting the cover, for opening thereof, prior to protrusion of the stick-type cosmetic preparation from the bore. A lifting mechanism is coupled to the sleeve for selective reciprocating movement of the sleeve and the stick-type cosmetic preparation in the bore of the case.

Abstract: There is provided a device for recovering and dispensing the unusable portion of a pasty substance, such as that of a personal health and beauty product, that is located in the base portion of the original packaging. The device includes a casing having a closed end, an open end and a wall extending between the closed end and the open end. An extractor is associated with the casing and has a predetermined cross-section and an inner surface that cooperate to exert gripping forces to maintain a pasty substance in the extractor. There is a dispenser also associated with the casing and operable to overcome the gripping forces of the extractor to expel a pasty substance being maintained in the extractor.

Abstract: A bar extruding implement extrudes a bar, such as a lead, a lipstick or the like, gradually and is capable of automatically ejecting a marginal portion of the bar. A projection formed on a sliding member inserted in an inner tube slides along a helical groove formed in the inner circumference of a barrel to advance the sliding member when a rotational operating head is turned to turn the inner tube in one direction, whereby a bar holder holding a bar is advanced gradually toward the front end of the barrel to extrude the bar from the front end of the barrel. Upon the arrival of the bar holder at a disengaging position, the sliding member is disengaged from the bar holder and advances forward through the bar holder when the inner tube is turned further after the bar holder has arrived at the disengaging position to eject a marginal portion of the bar remaining on the bar holder.

Abstract: This invention is to a writing tool such as mechanical pencil or a ballpoint pen in which a writing shaft having a head member is inserted in an outer sleeve in such a manner that the head member projects from the outer sleeve. A stair or step and a spiral groove are provided on the forward inner surface and the rearward inner surface of a tubular cap, respectively, with an inside diameter of the rear part of the spiral groove being larger. A bearing part is brought into contact with a lead tank provided inside a forward art of the tubular part so that the forward part of the outer sleeve is movable in the axial direction and is locked in the turning direction against a rearward inner surface of the outer sleeve. The rearward part of the tubular body is provided with a slit, holding pieces of a stick-shaped object holder slidably inserted in said slit. A stick-shaped object is held by the holding pieces, and the projection is provided on each holder engaged with the spiral groove of the tubular cap.

A pushing assembly engaging the stick is provided at the front end of the spindle and comprises a piston connected to the front end of the spindle and adapted to bear against the end face of the stick and a piston sleeve which surrounds the piston and embraces the end of the stick.

Abstract: A brush arrangement, specifically a toothbrush, is provided with a reservoir of cleaning material in its handle. The handle is hollow and provided with an actuatable plunger arrangement which pressurizes the cleaning material so as to force it through a channel and to the brush head. The pressurized cleaning material opens a pressure valve arrangement which exposes a dispensing port through which the cleaning material is dispensed in the vicinity of a plurality of bristles. The dispensing port is opened by the application of a force from the pressurized cleaning material which exceeds a counterforce applied by a resilient device, such as a spring. When the pressure in the reservoir is relieved, such as by reversing the direction of travel of the plunger, the counterforce applied by the spring is sufficient to ensure that the pressure valve closes the dispensing port. In certain embodiments, the brush arrangement is provided with a replaceable brush head.
