The handle movably receives the collar. The handle includes a front end formed with a cutout. The cap is used to cover a section of the handle. The cap includes a rear end formed with a cutout. The cutouts receive the stem when the front end of the handle is in contact with the rear end of the cap.

Abstract: A lipstick case lipstick body lift seat anti-slipped structure includes a lipstick case, an outer tube, a lift seat with an opening facing upward, and a lipstick body. A plurality of anti-slipped blocking grooves is formed on an upwardly inclined side of each of the two inclined guiding grooves. The outer tube is sleeved on an outer side of the small diameter guiding tube, and a spiral guiding groove is disposed on an inner wall of the outer tube concavely. The lipstick body is sleeved in the lift seat. Two lift guiding columns are disposed on an outer wall of the lift seat protrudingly for engaging with the inclined guiding grooves correspondingly and pressing into the spiral guiding groove. Abstract: To prevent malfunction of a rod-like body feeding container, a pipe member (4) is moved forward with respect to a leading tube (3) by utilizing a first engagement portion (8) in accordance with a relative rotation between a main body (1) and a leading tube (3), a rod-like body (M) is moved forward with respect to the pipe member (4) by utilizing a second engagement portion (9) independently provided with the engagement portion (8) in accordance with the relative rotation so as to be protruded from the pipe member (4) to be in a use state on the basis of the forward moving operations, and the pipe member (4) is moved backward with respect to the leading tube (3) by utilizing the first engagement portion (8) in accordance with the relative rotation to feed back the pipe member (4) to a non-use position within the leading tube (3).

Abstract: An adjustable pencil for varying the pressure on a piece of lead includes a cylindrical barrel, and a guide tube containing a piece of lead disposed in the barrel. A coil spring, a rectangular channel with a plurality of stops and a follower compresses the spring for increasing or decreasing the longitudinal force applied to the lead as it engages a writing surface. A knob rotates the guide tube to open or close a pair of jaw like grips for maintaining a pre-selected length of lead extending from the tip of the pencil.

Abstract: A cosmetic dispenser for axially moving a volume of cosmetic between an extended disposition and a retracted disposition with an elevator member, an innerbody with an open inner volume for receiving the elevator member, and a spiral member with an open inner volume for receiving a body portion of the innerbody in a relatively rotatable relationship. At least one protuberance, which can be inflexible, can project from a shoulder portion of the innerbody and can be axially aligned with a flexible wall segment of the spiral member thereby to produce a frictional drag between the innerbody and the spiral member. The flexible wall segment of the spiral member can comprise a proximally disposed skirt. Axial movement of the elevator member can be produced by opposed lugs that project from the elevator member through opposed longitudinal tracks in the innerbody and into engagement with opposed spiral threads on the spiral member.

Abstract: A shaped crystalline deodorant is made from mixture of a mineral salt and water which is heated above the melting point of the salt, placed in a mold having the desired shape, and crystalized after insertion of an internally threaded member into the mixture. The deodorant has an oval cross-sectional shape with the insert imbedded therewithin and is secured into a container. The container includes a threaded stem attached to the container for rotational movement which is translated to axial movement of the deodorant with respect to the container. The threaded stem cooperates with the internally threaded insert to allow the crystallized deodorant to be moved up or down within the container by rotating the threaded stem.

Abstract: A package for a solid stick product, including barrel for containing the stick product and, provided within the barrel, a product support member for supporting the stick product thereon. The product support member is movable in the longitudinal direction of the barrel for raising and lowering the stick product. The barrel has a longitudinally extending slot through a wall thereof. An adjustment button is provided on the outside of the barrel and is movable in the longitudinal direction of the barrel generally over the slot area. A tab extends through the slot and connects the adjustment button to the product support member, whereby movement of the adjustment button outside the barrel brings about an equivalent translational movement of the product support member and, therefore, the stick product within the barrel. Thus, by raising or lowering the adjustment button outside the barrel, the user can raise or lower the stick product to extract the product from or retract the product within the barrel.

Abstract: A bird call striker made up of a body, a dowel assembly, and an end cap. The body has a generally "Z"-shaped channel having an extension slot and a retraction slot. The invention may also have a clip mounted to the outside of the body for carrying on a belt or shirt pocket. The dowel assembly has a rod that slidingly communicates with the guide bushing between an extended position and a retracted position. A knob having a threaded shaft is perpendicularly and transversely mounted to the rod to assist the user in extending and retracting the rod. An extension spring assists in removably locking the knob in the extension slot, thereby maintaining the rod in extended position, and a retraction spring assists in removably locking the knob in the retraction slot, thereby maintaining the rod in retracted position. Additionally, the knob may be twisted to removably engage the distal end of the shaft with the inside of the body, thereby allowing the user to partially extend the rod from the body.

A substantially U-shaped guiding recess is defined in the elongate housing by two side walls and a bottom wall and is located above the receiving passage. An opening is defined in the bottom wall defining the guiding recess and communicates with the receiving passage. A pencil is slidably received in the receiving passage and a control member is slidably mounted in the guiding recess and is securely engaged with one end portion of the pencil for moving the pencil.

Abstract: A mechanically controlled writing apparatus with presharpened pencil lead elements generally comprises of an inner cylinder and a pen-holder. The inner cylinder is a straight hollow tube, having two elongated piercing grooves vertically made at the bottom to permit the bottom end be slightly expanded for passing therethrough of pencil lead elements, and a plurality of wedge-like projections made on the outer wall surface at the bottom end and respectively reducing upward, which wedge-like projections may be squeezed inward by the inner wall surface of the outer pen-holder to firmly retain the bottom pencil lead element for smooth writing. The pen-holder comprises a reduced bottom end having a hook means integrally made thereon to alternatively insert through the two elongated piercing grooves into the inner cylinder, which hook means may be controlled to displace outward through a lever motion effect.

Abstract: A dispensing device for rubbable or scrapable masses comprises an elongated, hollow tubular case for receiving the mass to be dispensed and a feeding mechanism, operable from outside the case, for moving the mass relative to the case. The case has a wall with a groove formed in it, which groove extends substantially in a longituidnal direction of the case. The feeding mechanism includes a connecting member longitudinally movable within the case, a web extending laterally from the connecting member and through the groove to an outside surface of the case, and an actuating member coupled to the web and accessible from outside the case. The web separates a portion of the wall defining the groove as the feeding mechanism is pushed along the groove.

Abstract: A toothbrush device which comprises a body member having a main chamber disposed therein and a handle slidably disposed thereon, the chamber contains a toothpaste dispenser disposed therein whereby toothpaste disposed in the toothpaste dispenser is dispensed from the toothpaste dispenser by pressing the handle against the toothpaste dispenser after operating an on switch. Thereafter, by operating an off switch, the toothpaste dispenser is closed.

Abstract: A dentifrice dispensing toothbrush is described which stores dentifrice material in its handle and deposits a controlled quantity of the stored material directly onto the top of the brush surface. The toothbrush comprises (1) a housing which includes a handle, (2) a reservoir situated within the housing for storing dentifrice material, (3) a brush having bristles which are attached to and supported by a brush head member, and (4) a pump which causes a controlled quantity of dentifrice material to be pumped from the reservoir through a channel and a movable applicator and thereafter, to be deposited onto the brush surface. The applicator can be positioned in either a depositing or non-depositing relationship with the brush surface. No dentifrice can be pumped from the reservoir when the applicator is in a non-depositing relationship with the brush surface thus preventing the accidental discharge of dentifrice.

Abstract: A dispenser for the individual portioned dispensing of tablets (1), pastes or the like, having a housing pipe (2) which is provided at one end with a delivery opening (6) and, opposite same, is equipped with a push bottom (13) for transporting of the material to be dispensed in the direction towards the delivery opening (6), which push bottom (13) can be displaced stepwise in the direction towards the delivery opening by means of an actuating handle which is adjacent the delivery opening and is connected to the push bottom. In order to obtain a favorable accommodation for the material to the dispensed, the bar connection between actuating handle (9) and push bottom (13) extends along the inner surface of the housing pipe wall, leaving the inside of the housing pipe (2) free.

Abstract: A writing instrument having a casing with an axially-extending bore seating a cantilevered arm of a pocket clip which protrudes through the casing bore when the instrument is in an "off" position. The pocket clip has guide tabs which fit into guide channels in the instrument's casing. The guide channels, with spring fingers which bias the pocket clip in the direction of the bore, are capable of releasably locking the clip in plural positions. In the "off" position the pocket clip arm protrudes through the casing aperture but the writing members housed within the casing are retracted. Moving the pocket clip to a "write" position causes a writing member to project from either the front or back of the housing and the pocket clip arm to be retracted into the casing.

Abstract: A disposable lead pencil, eraser and sharpener combination in which there is an eraser mounted upon one end of the housing and an abrasive sharpener structure contained within an enclosed and sealed chamber at the opposite end of the pencil housing. Sharpening of the lead is effected by reciprocating a pusher plate mounted upon the side of the housing back and forth to move the lead back and forth relative to the abrasive sharpener. At the end of each reciprocal stroke of the lead, an indexing mechanism automatically rotates the lead relative to the abrasive element so that a different section of lead is presented to the sharpener during each stroke. The sharpener containing chamber of the pencil housing is sealed so that all lead filings are retained within the pencil's housing.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a topical product dispenser containing an element with a dispensible ingredient, such as a deodorant and/or antiperspirant. Prior dispensers use a screw feed with a number of parts, and the element is usually shaped with a flat surface. The improved dispenser uses fewer parts and provides an element shaped for use in an armpit. The dispenser includes a hollow, shallow circular first cylinder (16) forming a cavity for receiving a rotatable dispensible element (34) and a detachable lid for exposing the surface of the element. The solid element in the form of a second cylinder (34) is rotatably disposed in the first cylinder (16). A manually rotatable member (22) disposed in an opening in an end surface of the first cylinder (16) has an extension which penetrates and engages the second cylinder (34). The extension can contain prongs engaging opposed holes in the body of the first cylinder (16) for selective rotation of the second cylinder (34).

Abstract: A writing implement is provided having a body comprised of a pencil end-segment and a pen end-segment. Slideably mounted within the pencil end-segment is a carriage member having a tubular holder for receiving the inner end of a length of lead. The carriage member is provided with a cantilevered arm having an arcuate outer edge which normally bears against serrations provided on the inner wall of the pencil end-segment to effectively lock the carriage member in position. The carriage member can be released and slideably moved to feed the tip of the length of lead for writing by depressing a button on the end of a stem which extends through a longitudinal slot in the pencil end-segment and serves to free the arcuate outer edge of the arm. The pen end-segment, which is threadably detachably connected to the pencil end-segment, encloses a replaceable unit including a magazine for ink and a ball point writing member.

Abstract: A press-out type writing tool having a holder body and a mechanism disposed in the holder body for pressing out pencil lead. The mechanism includes a depressing tube, a chuck for clamping the lead and a lead clamp. The lead clamp is formed separately from the chuck and is adapted to come in and out of an end opening of the holder body, while clamping the lead. The lead clamp projects out of the lower opening of the holder body, when the tool is used for the writing purpose, and is adapted to make up the required projection length of the lead as the latter wears. When the tool is not used, the lead clamp is retracted to disappear into the holder body, along with the lead which is clamped by the lead clamp, so as to protect the lead against any external force which may incur the breakage of the lead. The upper end of the lead clamp in the retracted state is received by an enlarged hole formed in the lower end of the chuck, so as to make the chuck release the lead.

Abstract: A device for dispensing material in stick form and retracting the material into the device when not in use, which is constructed of inexpensive materials and is readily fabricated, comprising a housing, a holder for the material being dispensed, means for moving the holder, and means for preventing the material from being pushed back into the housing when being applied.
