The stacks of cartons are thereafter conveyed along a magazine conveyor with the stacks of cartons supported by a stack pusher assembly as the cartons are moved to a discharge point at the distal end of the magazine conveyor.

As the spacing is increased gripping devices atop both supporting plates grab and pull the cat edges of the wrapping, until the bundle falls through to a holding device.

The wrapping material can be cut as the cotton module is moved into the bale engaging mechanism, after the module is engaged by the rollers or after the module is raised above the conveyor surface.
