Abstract: A substrate liquid processing apparatus includes: at least one liquid pipe through which a processing liquid flows; a discharge nozzle configured to discharge the processing liquid supplied via the at least one liquid pipe; a valve mechanism configured to regulate a flow of the processing liquid in the at least one liquid pipe; and a liquid detection sensor configured to detect presence or absence of the processing liquid in the at least one liquid pipe, wherein in a state in which the valve mechanism is operating so that the processing liquid in the at least one liquid pipe is located at an upstream of a first pipe measurement site of the at least one liquid pipe, the liquid detection sensor detects the presence or absence of the processing liquid at the first pipe measurement site located at a first measurement point.
Abstract: A pump cassette is configured for coupling with a pump device. The pump cassette may include a fluid lumen adapted for passage and propulsion of an infusion fluid toward a patient; a valve assembly that can be actuated to regulate fluid flow through the fluid lumen; and a frame coupled to the fluid lumen and the valve assembly. The frame is adapted to be inserted into a seat of a pump device. The frame is configured to be inserted into the seat only when aligned in a predetermined orientation relative to the seat.

Abstract: A compact medical pump includes a linear peristaltic pumping mechanism driven by a motor located within a periphery of a belt of the pumping mechanism. The motor drives a gear set that drives a driving pulley which engages the belt having the rollers. A battery for the pump is positioned adjacent to the gear set. The pump includes a controller and user interface for operating the pumping mechanism as a function of pumping parameters input via the user interface. The controller may sense motor current and determine fluid path characteristics based on the sensed current.
Abstract: A peristaltic pump comprises a tube to transport a material in a transport direction and a conveying screw, which is configured to cause a transport of the material by causing a successive squeezing of the tube along the transport direction.

Abstract: A multi-channel peristaltic pump in which each channel can be operated independently of the others. A peristaltic pump includes a plurality of motors, each of which drives a rotor shaft which is independently rotatable around an axis and which rotates a roller head having a plurality of rollers. The rotor shafts are disposed in a concentric manner. The peristaltic pump further can include a control system allowing an operator to selectively determine the speed and direction of rotation of each of the roller heads of the pump.
