  • Patent number: 10528064
Abstract: There is provided a tube pump system including: a pair of roller units rotated around an axis line from a contact position to a separate position; a pair of drive units rotating the pair of roller units respectively; and a control unit controlling each of the pair of drive units. A pipe having flexibility is connected to an outflow-side end portion of the tube, and the pipe maintains a pressure of a liquid flowing through the inside of the pipe at a first predetermined pressure higher than an atmospheric pressure. The control unit controls each of the pair of drive units such that a pressure of the liquid in the tube closed due to a contact of the pair of roller units is increased to a second predetermined pressure when one of the pair of roller units passes the separate position.

Abstract: A peristaltic pump includes a plurality of effecters, actuated in a periodic manner upon by obstructive forces of a flexible infusion tube so as flow of infusion fluid is provided along said infusion tube, the magnitude of the obstructive forces being dependent upon the displacement of said moving effecters; and a plurality of balancing magnets providing balancing forces upon one or all the moving effecters, the balancing forces at each point along the path of motion of the moving effecters being of approximately equal magnitude to that of the obstructive forces at the point; such that the parasitic output due to work performed against the obstructive forces is approximately zero and yield is maximized.

Abstract: A precision peristaltic metering pump comprises a base, a case structure, a differential device, and a hose. The case structure is disposed on the base and has a lateral wall. The differential device comprises a first member, a second member, a plurality of planet gears, and a sun gear, wherein the first member has a first internal gear and a plurality of rollers. The second member has a second internal gear. Each planet gear has a first external gear and a second external gear. The first and second external gears mesh with the first and second internal gears respectively. The sun gear pivotally connects with the base and meshes with the plural planet gears. Hence, while the sun gear drives the planet gears, the first member is in rotation relative to the second member. The hose is pushed by the rollers so as to urge the lateral wall.

Abstract: A peristaltic pump for dispensing liquid is described and includes a front housing and a rear housing snap-fitted together to define a chamber having a recessed area and a rotor confined therein, a plurality of rollers mounted in the rotor, and a flexible tube compressed at equally spaced intervals by the plurality of rollers. The rotor undergoes a gradual increase in torque as a benefit of the recessed area, rather than an immediate high-torque load at the start of each pump cycle. Further, the pump is resistant to constant torques and vibrations caused by a machine to which it is attached so that the pump does not become loose and fall apart.

Abstract: A valveless, pulsatile, non-contact, positive displacement, finger-pump for pumping one or more fluids is disclosed. The pump can include one or more channels for holding one or more lengths of flexible tubing. The channels can include an adjustment mechanism and/or a resilient backing plate to reduce over compression of the tubing. The pump can utilize a plurality of profiled, pivoting fingers to sequentially occlude a length of tubing causing a pumping action. The fingers can be moved from the first position to the second position by a motor driven camshaft. Cam lobes disposed on the camshaft can be a modified eccentric design to improve tube occlusion and pump efficiency. At least one cam lobe can completely occlude the tubing at all times during operation to prevent backflow. The fingers can alternatively be moved from the first position to the second position by a variety of linear actuators.

Abstract: The invention relates to a hose pump for delivering a medium conveyed through a hose, including a housing, a drive, a carrier rotatable with respect to the housing, and a plurality of squeeze rollers that are mounted rotatably on the carrier and can be driven by the drive via a gear with a sun wheel and with a first planet wheel connected so as to rotate with the respective squeeze roller, wherein rotating squeeze rollers, during operation of the pump, press a hose, which is inserted into the pump, by squeezing the hose against an abutment and in this way convey the medium onwards through the hose in the delivery direction. In order to permit easier and quicker insertion of a hose in such a hose pump, the invention proposes that, in addition to the first planet wheel, each squeeze roller is also assigned at least a second planet wheel, which is coupled to the inner circumference, acting as a hollow wheel, of the housing in order to set the carrier in rotation from the drive during operation of the pump.

These two pressing elements of a single assembly are placed on either side of the tube, at least one of the pressing elements of this single assembly is mobile such that the distance separating the pressing elements of the single assembly is adjustable, to allow the pressing members to be placed in a rest position, in which the tube is not compressed by the pressing elements, or to allow the pressing elements to be placed in a position compressing the tube. Advantageously, the adjustment is made automatically when the peristaltic pump or pumping is started or stopped.
