The sighting module housing wherein a first connector is arranged on one side of the sighting module housing, and a first electrical connection portion is arranged on one side of the first connector facing away from the sighting module housing; and an accessory housing, wherein a second connector is arranged on one side of the accessory housing; the second connector is detachably connected to the first connector, so that the accessory housing is connected to the sighting module housing; a second electrical connection portion is arranged on one side of the second connector facing away from the accessory housing; and the second electrical connection portion is electrically connected to the first electrical connection portion.
Abstract: A sight includes a main body, an erecting unit and a compensating mechanism. The compensating mechanism includes a fixing unit, a cover and an switching unit. A compensating mechanism for a sight includes a base unit, a transmission unit, an adjusting cap, a movable unit and a lock unit. The adjusting cap is located in a first position when the adjusting cap is locked by the lock unit. The adjusting cap in the first position can be rotated in a second direction or in a third direction opposite to the second direction when the lock unit is moved in a first direction to release the adjusting cap. The adjusting cap stops in a second position when the adjusting cap is rotated in the third direction so that the movable unit is propped against an end of a groove of the adjusting cap.

Abstract: Systems and methods for local augmented reality (AR) tracking of an AR object are disclosed. In one example embodiment a device captures a series of video image frames. A user input is received at the device associating a first portion of a first image of the video image frames with an AR sticker object and a target. A first target template is generated to track the target across frames of the video image frames. In some embodiments, global tracking based on a determination that the target is outside a boundary area is used. The global tracking comprises using a global tracking template for tracking movement in the video image frames captured following the determination that the target is outside the boundary area. When the global tracking determines that the target is within the boundary area, local tracking is resumed along with presentation of the AR sticker object on an output display of the device.

Abstract: A scope mount assembly is provided including a scope mount having a reference axis and a level indicator rotatably joined with the scope mount. The level indicator can be rotatable from a stored mode, where a level indicator axis is transverse to the reference axis, to an extended mode, where the level indicator axis is transverse to the reference axis, and the level indicator projects laterally away from the reference axis. The assembly can include a first magnet that magnetically secures the level indicator in the stored mode, and a second magnet that magnetically secures the level indicator in the extended mode. A user rearward of the mount can view the laterally extending level indicator when the level indicator is in the extended mode, and optionally when the level indicator is in the stored mode, to confirm the level of the scope and any weapon to which it is mounted.
Abstract: New systems, devices and methods for extremely precise aiming and shooting of firearms by relatively unskilled users are provided. In some embodiments, shots may be planned in advance. In some embodiments, a device including specialized computer hardware and software aids a user in planning a shot(s), evaluating the accuracy of the planned shot(s), adjusting the location of the planned shot(s), and executing the planned shots. In some embodiments, the system may prevent shots where motion, acceleration and positioning of the device and/or firearm relative to the planned shot location(s) and/or the surrounding environment may cause an inaccurate shot, but execute shots where those factors facilitate a highly accurate shot. In some embodiments, the control system may similarly account for, counteract and/or otherwise adjust for any other relevant ballistic and other accuracy-impacting factors with a position-actuable firing mechanism to maintain a projected flight path of such a point of impact.

Abstract: A firearm accessory mount is an apparatus that maximizes the mounting surfaces on a firearm while allowing the interchangeability of a barrel onto and off of the firearm. Abstract: A battery compartment for a reflex sight is accessed via a pivoting lid that can be unlatched, opened, and closed by hand without tools and without removing the sight from its weapon. The processing components may generate an adaptive electronic reticle for the scope. Abstract: Implementations of a rear sight block for AK-type rifles are provided. In some implementations, the rear sight block may comprise an optic mounting interface and a sleeve. In some implementations, the optic mounting interface may be used to attach an optical gun sight to the rear sight block, and the sleeve may be used to secure the rear sight block to the barrel of an AK-type rifle. In some implementations, the optic mounting interface may include a rear sight notch therein. Abstract: A set of temporary sights to fit on a scope has a first sight unit comprising a stretchable, resilient first ring adapted to be positioned on an end of the scope, a single, radially-protruding first sight member, a second sight unit comprising a stretchable, resilient second ring adapted to be positioned on an end of the scope, a radially-protruding sight comprising two uprights protruding from the ring, a top closure and a horizontal crosspiece connecting the uprights between the top closure and the second ring. The top closure, uprights and second ring may define a rectangular opening bisected by the horizontal crosspiece to define an upper and lower opening. The first sight unit may be adapted to mount over the front end of the sight, and the second sight unit is adapted to mount over the rear end of the sight.
Abstract: A firearm handguard includes a hollow interior cavity extending from a receiving end to an exit end of the handguard, and forms a receiving end portion. An attachment mechanism is screwed to the usual receiver head on the firearm receiver which secures the attachment mechanism to the firearm receiver. The attachment mechanism is received in the receiving end portion of the handguard. A projection extends from either the attachment mechanism or the handguard and a mating recess is provided in the other of the attachment mechanism or the handguard to receive and hold the projection. The inside diameter of the receiving end portion of the handguard can be enlarged or reduced so that the attachment mechanism can be received in the receiving end portion and the projection then received and held by the mating recess to thereby attach it to the attachment mechanism and hold it against relative longitudinal movement.

Abstract: A method for shooting a projectile weapon involves determining the inclination of a line of sight from a vantage point to a target and a line-of-sight range to the target, then predicting a trajectory parameter at the line-of-sight range, for a preselected projectile. Using the trajectory parameter, an equivalent horizontal range may then be determined, wherein the equivalent horizontal range is the range at which the trajectory parameter would be expected to occur if the projectile were shot from the vantage point toward a theoretical target located in a horizontal plane intersecting the vantage point. The equivalent horizontal range may be utilized to compensate for ballistic drop when shooting the projectile weapon. The method may be embodied in a handheld laser rangefinder including a memory for storing ballistic data. Systems for automatic hold over adjustment in a weapon aiming device are also disclosed.

Abstract: A dot-sighting device includes a light source, a beam splitter and a reflective element. The light source emits light. The beam splitter includes a surface that reflects at least a portion of a first light component of the light and transmits at least a portion of a second light component. The reflective element reflects at least a portion of the first light component reflected by the surface of the beam splitter toward the beam splitter. The light reflected by the reflective element includes the second light component.
Abstract: Fore-end half stock (hand guard) internal rail mounts for a rifle allows rifle accessories to be internally attached to the hand guard. Internal rails are positioned about the axis of the rifle barrel to align the rifle accessory.
Abstract: A quick-attach/quick-detach coupler assembly used for mounting a hand guard around a rifle barrel, allowing prompt barrel change. The coupler assembly has a generally cylindrical barrel nut with a plurality of external rail-mounting teeth centrally around its exterior circumference, interior threads for connection to the upper receiver of a rifle, and multiple fastener holes allowing set screws to contact a two-piece separable extension and provide anti-rotational engagement between it and the barrel nut. The barrel nut's interior threads also connect it to the extension. A tool configured as a hand guard fastener and stored/carried on the hand guard is easily accessed to tighten/release the set screws. The tool's handle may also be configured to engage notches on the extension's barrel end and facilitate its release from the barrel nut. The coupler assembly will mount almost every hand guard currently marketed to the upper receiver of the AR family of rifles.
