  • Patent number: 11428501
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for interchangeable, customizable, and suitable grips for firearms are described. In some embodiments, the grip includes two components, a grip base piece and an interchangeable grip (e.g., an interchangeable grip attachment) of the firearm user's choice. The grip base piece attaches to the lower receiver held by a pistol grip screw and a lock washer. In some examples, the grip base piece may only be installed once, for example, initially prior to implementation of interchangeable grips (e.g., the grip base piece may not require any other attention or installation changes after the initial placement onto the lower receiver). Following the installation of the grip base piece on the lower receiver, interchangeable grips of users' choice may be connected to the grip base piece (e.g., and interchanged with other interchangeable grips) via utilizing a grip interface (e.g., a T-shaped mating tab of the interchangeable grip).

  • Patent number: 11280580
Abstract: This disclosure describes a firearm stock or arm brace with an adjustable length of pull. The stock or arm brace can include a body and lower stock, where the body includes a buffer tube receiving aperture and the lower stock includes a hollow cavity with a plunger and two concentric springs therein. One or more buttons can be affixed to sides of the plunger in the hollow cavity that can be used to depress the plunger against the force of one or both of the springs. One of the two springs may be shorter than the other and have a greater spring constant than the longer spring. Depressing the plunger against the taller spring may allow a user to adjust the length of pull while greater pressure and engagement of the second spring allows the stock or arm brace to be removed from a buffer tube or receiver extension.

  • Patent number: 9546836
Abstract: A bump stock and interface system for a semi-automatic firearm. In use, the user grasps a handle with one hand and places an index finger of the same hand firmly on a finger rest. When intending to fire a round of ammunition, the user pushes the firearm receiver forward with another hand so that the trigger collides with the immobilized finger on the finger rest. Recoil force separates the trigger from the user's finger on the finger rest. The user again pushes forward the receiver to repeat the firing cycle. A lock is selectively activated to arrest longitudinal movement of the firearm relative to the handle, thereby returning the firearm to normal semi-automatic functionality. The lock includes a retractable pin having a tip that rides in a track having a rear stop to limit over-travel of the handle.

Abstract: A collapsible rifle stock which provides a significantly shorter and more compatible stock designs. The stock includes a recoil pad, a buffer tube assembly, a buffer-receiving cavity, a track, a locking mechanism, and a release mechanism. The buffer-receiving cavity traverses through the recoil pad to facilitate a short collapsed configuration for the stock. The track is adjacently connected to the recoil pad, oriented parallel to a central axis of the buffer-receiving cavity. The buffer tube assembly attaches the stock to the rifle. The buffer tube assembly is slidably engaged along the track to allow for relative movement. The locking mechanism in conjunction with the release mechanism allow the user to position the stock into a collapsed and an extended configuration. The locking mechanism is mechanically integrated in between the track and the buffer tube assembly. The release mechanism is mechanically integrated in between the track and the recoil pad.

Abstract: An adjustable butt stock adapter assembly may provide for vertical and rotational adjustment. A serrated plate may be positioned between an adapter with grooves for establishing a rotational position with the serrated plate, and a butt plate having serrations for establishing a vertical relationship with the serrated plate. The serrated plate may be operatively attached to a spring collar mounted in the adapter, such that pulling the serrated plate away from the collar and adapter overcomes the spring force and allows for adjustment of the rotational position. The butt plate may connect to the serrated plate through an engagement mechanism, such that disengaging the engagement mechanism allows for adjustment of the vertical position.

Abstract: A modular firearm comprising an adjustable modular buttstock assembly. The buttstock assembly can include a frame with a central opening. A comb assembly having a cheek piece and a butt plate assembly having a recoil pad each can be mounted to the frame by an adjustment apparatus. Each adjustment apparatus can include of a guide post and/or a threaded adjustment post each received in respective bores in the frame to adjust the positions of the cheek piece and recoil pad. The adjustment apparatus also can include a locking or engagement feature that can selectively increase the friction between the frame and the guide post and/or adjustment post, to help prevent the translation of the guide post and/or adjustment post in the bore in the frame to fix the comb assembly and butt plate assembly in desired positions with respect to the frame.

Abstract: An automatic adjustable buttstock system for a small arms weapon including a buttstock and a pair of parallel rails adapted to slidably mount the buttstock on a body of the weapon, each rail having a plurality of female locking slots along its length. A lock block is employed having a pivotable spring-loaded locking lever and a pair of locking tabs adapted to engage the female locking slots disposed along the length of each rail. A volute spring disposed between a rear wall of the lock block and a cavity in the buttstock is adapted to rearwardly bias the buttstock towards a fully extended position. The locking lever is adapted to be pivoted to disengage the pair of locking tabs from the female locking slots for displacement of the buttstock between a fully shortened configuration, in which the volute spring is fully compressed, to the fully extended position as urged rearwardly by the volute spring.
