Abstract: An automatic adjustable buttstock system for a small arms weapon including a buttstock and a pair of parallel rails adapted to slidably mount the buttstock on a body of the weapon, each rail having a plurality of female locking slots along its length. A lock block is employed having a pivotable spring-loaded locking lever and a pair of locking tabs adapted to engage the female locking slots disposed along the length of each rail. A volute spring disposed between a rear wall of the lock block and a cavity in the buttstock is adapted to rearwardly bias the buttstock towards a fully extended position. The locking lever is adapted to be pivoted to disengage the pair of locking tabs from the female locking slots for displacement of the buttstock between a fully shortened configuration, in which the volute spring is fully compressed, to the fully extended position as urged rearwardly by the volute spring.

The extension member is formed with a plurality of retaining troughs. The buttstock structure includes a buttstock body and an adjusting trigger. The buttstock body includes a chamber accommodating the extension portion, a latch selectively engaged with a respective one of the retaining troughs, and a latch recess accommodating the latch. A retaining pin is inserted in the latch and protrudingly disposed on a side wall of the latch recess. An adjusting trigger is movably connected with the buttstock body. The adjusting trigger includes a handle and a linking member connected to the handle. Two inclined slots for containing the retaining pin are formed at one end of the linking member.

Abstract: An improved firearm accessory mounting interface is herein disclosed. The interface can include one or more sets of first and second fasteners that interface through an elongated slot in a firearm in order to mount a firearm accessory to a firearm. The second fastener can be shaped and sized to clear the elongated slot and can, upon clearing the elongated slot, be pivoted to an oblique orientation relative to the elongated slot so that the second fastener cannot be retracted. The first fastener can continue to be turned thus drawing the first and second fasteners toward each other and locking the accessory to the firearm.

Abstract: An accessory mounting interface for a firearm is provided. The accessory mounting interface has a firearm accessory, a first elongated fastener, a second fastener, and an elongated slot in a firearm. The second fastener has two straight edges parallel to each other, and at least one of the two straight edges prevent the second fastener from rotating beyond a closed position once a portion of the second fastener has passed through and at least partially cleared the elongated slot.

Abstract: A receiver spur adapted to be mounted behind the trigger and the trigger guard of a firearm such as the AR-15. The spur is configured to substantially conformingly abut the surface of the receiver immediately behind the trigger guard and is secured to the receiver.

Abstract: A firearm includes a cocking lever, a shoulder-stock receptacle and a shoulder support having a shoulder stock configured to be joined by a connector to the shoulder-stock receptacle. A shoulder-stock adjuster is configured to adjust a position of the shoulder stock relative to the shoulder-stock receptacle along an adjustment axis. A cheek rest is mounted via a bearing on the shoulder stock so as to be movable in a direction parallel to the adjustment axis. A stop is disposed on the shoulder-stock receptacle so as to limit a movement path of the cheek rest towards a front of the firearm. At a position of the cheek rest defined by the stop of the shoulder-stock receptacle, the cocking lever does not collide with the cheek rest, even in a completely retracted state.

Abstract: A firearm comprising a barrel, a handguard disposed around the barrel; a manually operated pump-action reload mechanism, the pump-action reload mechanism comprising a hand-held actuation arrangement and a fore-end body, the fore-end body disposed around the barrel between the handguard and the barrel, and the hand-held actuation arrangement coupled to the fore-end body to operate the pump-action reload mechanism. In addition, or alternatively, the firearm may include a bolt carrier locking mechanism and/or a butt stock that may be folded on either side of the receiver.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a gun having an off-hand grip adjustably coupled to a handguard and spaced apart from a grip with a trigger located between the grip and the off-hand grip. The off-hand grip has a first end and a second end that is distal from the first end. The off-hand grip includes a pivot located adjacent the first end such that the off-hand grip is pivotable with respect to the handguard. The off-hand grip is also pivotable between a use position where the off-hand grip longitudinally extends about transverse from the barrel, and a stowed position where the off-hand grip is longitudinally adjacent the barrel.

Abstract: An apparatus for mounting a handgrip on a forward portion of a firearm. The apparatus includes a mount having an upper portion with a clamp for removably engaging the firearm forward portion. The handgrip, e.g., a pistol handgrip, is symmetrical about a vertical plane passing through the handgrip. The distal portion of the handgrip is offset in the vertical plane from the proximal portion of the handgrip. A pivot means connects the lower portion of the mount to the proximal portion of the handgrip to permit the pivoting of the vertical plane to varying angles on either side of the central axis of the barrel. A lock means locks and unlocks the pivot means to lock the handgrip in position at a selected pivot angle. The apparatus provides the ability of a left handed or right handed shooter to adjust the handgrip to a comfortable position while using the firearm.

Abstract: A locking adjustable cheek rest comprising an upper U-shaped portion and a lower portion located on the stock of a rifle or other firearm. The U-shaped portion is biased against the lower portion, such that the walls of the U-shaped upper portion press against the lower portion, thereby locking the upper portion in position. A first release and a second release are depressed to release the bias and enable the upper portion to be raised and lowered relative to the lower portion. Interlocking mechanisms located on the upper and lower portions facilitate locking of the cheek rest in a position determined by the user.

The base is removably secured to the back edge of the center frame.

Abstract: An apparatus for an anti-rattle assembly for a collapsible buttstock for a firearm may include a baseplate with a plurality of lower guides and a plurality of fasteners wherein the plurality of fasteners removably secure the anti-rattle assembly to a plurality of fastener positions of a buttstock body. The anti-rattle assembly may further include a pressure plate with one or more ridges to engage one or more rail surfaces of a receiver extension and a plurality of upper guides and a plurality of biasing members wherein the pressure plate is vertically aligned with the baseplate and the plurality of biasing members are coupled between the upper guides and the lower guides and bias the one or more ridges against the one or more rail surfaces. The anti-rattle assembly restricts the movement of the receiver extension in a tubular aperture of the buttstock body.

Abstract: A modified bolt carrier for automatic recoil rifles and pistols preferably includes a shortened bolt carrier, a shortened buffer tube, a modified bolt key and an end cap. The shortened buffer tube is shortened by cutting-off a straight portion of a prior buffer tube. The modified bolt key includes a prior art bolt key, a rod yoke, a pair spring rods, a pair of compression springs, a spring support disc and a spring plug. The spring plug is biased outward from the shortened bolt carrier with the pair of compression springs. The modified bolt key is attached to the shortened bolt carrier and retained in upper and lower receivers of an automatic recoil rifle or pistol. The bolt spring is slipped over the spring plug and the bolt spring is retained by securing the end cap to the lower receiver with a lock pin.

Abstract: A collapsible stock assembly for a firearm includes a stock body defining a buffer tube passage for slidably accommodating a firearm buffer tube therein. An adjustment slit communicates with the buffer tube passage along a forward portion thereof. A first adjustment mechanism canied by the stock body includes a buffer tube engagement element that can extend into the buffer tube passage and is selectively positionable by a first operating lever. A second operating mechanism includes a second operating lever that is operable to selectively compress the adjustment slit. Disengaging the first adjustment mechanism automatically disengages the second adjustment mechanism. Excessive force on the stock in several embodiments automatically disengages both adjustment mechanisms and minimizes damage to stock assembly and/or buffer tube.

A bumper secures and seals the open end of the sleeve. The detector may actuate an actuator to extend the comb the predetermined distance from the initial position. The extension of the comb elevates the top of the comb with respect to the top of the stock. The user may be able to vary both the predetermined angular orientation and the predetermined distance. The detection device may detect when the firearm is lowered to a horizontal orientation from an elevated angular orientation causing the actuator to lower the comb so that it is flush with the stock of the firearm.

The best mode buffer tube features a uniform cheek plate 10 with a track 9 disposed underneath the cheek plate 10 on either side. Rail track 8 is disposed on the underside of buffer tube module 2 and is divided in half by a longitudinal groove. Interface detents 5 are provided on the sides of buffer tube module 2. Both rail track 8 and detents 5 are provided for interface with adjustable length stock modules. Individual half-rails of the rail track 8 may be angled to improve interface performance with adjustable for length stock modules. A clip hole 13 is provided as a securement means with fixed length stock modules. The invention may also be practiced as a mounting assembly for those firearms (usually air projection type) that do not require a buffer area.

Abstract: A detachable handguard for firearms having a receiver defining a handguard mounting flange. Clamp members have hook-like ends that engage the handguard mounting flange and are attached to clamp actuating levers that are pivotally mounted to the handguard. The clamp members are positioned in clamping engagement with the mounting flange and are pivoted to clamping positions to force the handguard into tight assembly with the receiver and to move the connection of the clamp members with the actuating levers over-center, thus causing the clamp actuating levers to remain at their clamping positions. Lock members secure the clamp actuating levers at their clamping positions.

Abstract: The present folding stock adapter can be used with many types of military-type assault rifles that typically comprise a receiver extension, buffer and action spring. The present folding stock adapter can be used to add a folding capability to a standard stock allowing it to fold against a rifle's receiver when the weapon is not in use, thus reducing the overall length of the weapon. This reduction in length can facilitate its maneuverability, storage and transport in cramped quarters. The present device can also allow for the quick unfolding of the stock in order to allow the weapon to function and be fired normally.

Abstract: A multi-axis adjustable buttstock is taught that incorporates a buttstock, having, a grip neck, and a butt along with an interfaced set of two serrated grip retainers attached onto the buttstock grip neck, for buttstock tilt adjustment. A plurality of selectable flat and tapered grip spacers engage the grip serrated retainers for trigger grip length, cast and drop adjustment of the buttstock. A flanged stock bolt is disposed through a portion of the buttstock retaining the spacers and grip retainers while being embraced tightly by a first lock ring. A threaded rod is inserted into the buttstock a desired distance for length of pull adjustment and a second threaded lock ring is positioned on the threaded rod for securement. A recoil pad adapter plate, having a plurality of concentric holes, is attached to the threaded rod, for recoil pad slant adjustment, and a recoil pad is attached to the adapter plate aligned with selected recoil pad holes for recoil pad height and angle adjustments.

The stock assembly includes a buttstock having a longitudinal conduit and a locking member; a connector tube with front and back ends slidable within the buttstock conduit between a fully inserted position and a fully extended position, the tube having a longitudinal conduit; an attachment member slidable within the tube conduit between a forward position and a rearward position, the attachment member having a front end attachable to the firearm assembly and a rear end; a spring within the connector tube engaging the rear end of the attachment member, the spring urging the attachment member toward its forward position; and locking means preventing rotation of the attachment member relative to the connector tube, while allowing the attachment member to move within the tube between its forward and rearward positions.

Abstract: A hand guard attachment system for releasably attaching a hand guard to a firearm is disclosed herein. The system includes the hand guard having a proximal end configured to engage a forward end of a receiver of the firearm. The system further includes a tensioning assembly configured to interface between the hand guard and the forward end of the firearm. The tensioning assembly is further configured to selectively maintain an engaged position between the hand guard and the firearm such that the hand guard is releasably attached to the firearm without interfering with, or requiring removal of, the barrel and/or barrel nut connected to the receiver.
