Heat Treating Vessel With Heating Means Patents (Class 422/307)
  • Patent number: 8501110
Abstract: A sterilizing tunnel for pharmaceutical containers has an entry zone, a heating zone, and two cooling zones. The individual zones contain ventilating fan units that generate air currents, which serve to heat and cool the containers that a transport apparatus conveys through the sterilizing tunnel. The heating and cooling units, which operate using the principle of heated and cooled air flow, is supplemented with radiant heat-generating unit. The sterilizing tunnel makes it possible to achieve a uniform heating and cooling of the containers, preventing stress cracks in the containers and permitting intentional heating that makes it possible, for example, for the containers to be coated with a substance.

Abstract: A reducing agent container having a multi-function and having a container body thereof is provided with at least a heat exchanger which permits a heating medium using an engine as a heat source thereof to circulate therein for performing the heat exchange with a liquid reducing agent and a strainer which filtrates foreign substances from the liquid reducing agent, the heat exchanger and the strainer being attached to a top board of the container body. Further, a suction pipe capable of sucking the liquid reducing agent from the inside of the container body is connected to the strainer, and a supply port for the liquid reducing agent from which the foreign substances are filtrated is formed in the strainer. Thus, the whole of strainer is not exposed to the outside air, especially, the wind during traveling, and accordingly, the freezing of the urea aqueous solution in the strainer can be suppressed.

Abstract: A device and system is disclosed for sterilizing objects, commonly dental, medical, or veterinary instruments, by enhancing rapid hot air diffusion into an instrument container by means of a sliding cover overlaying an opening in the bottom of the instrument container when in the closed position and sliding horizontally to reveal the opening in the open position, allowing rapidly flowing hot air into the container for medical article sterilization. The sliding cover is moved to the open position just prior to the sterilization process by a mechanical means incorporated into the sterilizer with the sliding cover remaining in the open position through the completion of the sterilization process. Once the sterilization cycle is complete, the mechanical means is reversed, closing, sealing, and locking the sliding cover in place over the opening before the instrument container is removed from the sterilizer, ensuring continued medical instrumentation sterility inside the container.

In one implementation an exemplary system has waste transport vessels that can be intermittently heated and pressurized, for example, with steam, and are interconnected to provide multiple sterilization pathways for waste as the waste is transported. Selected sterilization pathways may depend on attributes of the waste. Sterilization factors, such as mechanical shredding, application of steam, application of pressure, maintenance of temperature, separation of liquid, etc., are integrated into the waste transport features of the system, which can be made compact to save space while processing relatively large bulk amounts of materials, such as medical wastes. The system maintains safe isolation of bio-hazardous components in the waste from the external environment. The mixture has a has second temperature sufficient to achieve a change in the mixture selected from the group consisting of microbial change, chemical change, biochemical change, and enzymatic change, and combinations thereof. A method is also disclosed for change over from forming a first flavored food product to forming a second flavored food product.

Abstract: The resonance chamber (1) has the form of an elongated closed shape. Microwave generators are fastened to the walls (1.1,1.2) of the chamber (1), their antennae (3,4) directed to the inside of the chamber (1). The microwave generators with antennae (3) are fastened to the chamber wall (1.1), while the microwave generators with antennae (4) are fastened to the wall (1.2) of the resonance chamber. The microwave generators on the wall (1.1) of the chamber are fastened so that in an orthogonal projection into the opposite wall of the chamber the antennae of two neighboring magnetrons are situated on the opposite sides of the product flow conduit (2). The antennae (3) of the successive magnetrons of the first series are situated alternately on the left and on the right side of the product flow conduit (2). Similarly distributed are the antennae (4) of the successive magnetrons of the second row.

Abstract: The invention relates to a sterilization coat (1) for sterilizing a device (2) like a medical detection device, wherein the sterilization coat (1) is adapted to be arranged on the device (2) and comprises a heating layer for sterilizing the device (2) by heating. If the sterilization coat (1) has been arranged on the device, several sterilization procedures can be performed by heating the sterilization coat (1) using the heating layer. Thus, it is not necessary to arrange sterile plastic drapes around the device (2) each time a sterile device is needed, for example, before each medical interventional procedure. If a sterilization of the device (2) is needed, the heating layer heats the device (2) for sterilizing. This simplifies the procedure for sterilizing the device (2).
