The oral care composition may further include one or more additives, such as glycerin (or another humectant), saliva enzyme, proanthocyanidins (e.g., PYCNOGENOL), resveratrol, a sugar alcohol, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, Coenzyme Q10, and folic acid. The oral care composition can be used for the treatment of xerostomia by applying the oral composition to the oral cavity. In addition, this oral care composition can be used for the treatment of vocal cord dysfunction, throat closure, candida, and can be further used in women's intimate care.
