Publication number: 20130207292Abstract: A fiber filling box divided into compartments by slotted divider walls, preferably comb-like divider fences with vertical tines extending downwardly from a top frame, is lowered onto an air-permeable conveyor over at least one vacuum box in a fiber filling station. A multi-axis controlled nozzle blows fiber material to different depths and/or densities in the individual compartments. The divider fences allow continuous intertwining of fibers between adjacent compartments, but sufficiently contain the fibers to maintain well-defined boundaries between different fiber depths and/or densities in the individual compartments. Hold-down plates are lowered onto the fiber material, the fiber filling box is lifted away, and then the hold-down plates are lifted to release a shaped fiber mass, which is then heated and compacted in a heating station to form a fiber preform. The hot fiber preform is then molded, compressed and cooled in a molding station to produce a molded fiber component.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 15, 2012Publication date: August 15, 2013Applicant: HERBERT OLBRICH GMBH & CO. Patent number: 7845932Abstract: A molding apparatus can include a primary mold, a stripper, and a swinging member. The swinging member can comprise a molding surface defining an undercut portion of a molded item. The swinging member can directly contact or attached to the stripper and the primary mold. To facilitate removal of a molded item, the swinging member can withdraw through a hole in the primary mold as a direct result of a motion of the stripper to pull the molded item off the primary mold. The molded item can then be easily removed.Type: GrantFiled: December 3, 2007Date of Patent: December 7, 2010Assignee: PWP IndustriesInventors: Dean Brown, Terry Vovan

Patent number: 7819999Abstract: A method and a device for directly molding a glazing gasket by extruding a molding material from a molding die to a peripheral edge part of a double-glazing panel in which a space layer is formed between two adjacent glass sheets with a spacer interposed in between. The molding die is configured of a front die and a rear die, which are independent of each other. The front die is allowed to adhere closely to at least the front surface of the double-glazing panel, and the rear die is allowed to adhere closely to at least the rear surface of the double-glazing panel, thereby molding the glazing gasket.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 2005Date of Patent: October 26, 2010Assignee: The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd.Inventors: Jiro Watanabe, Yuuji Kawamori, Kazuo Arakawa

Patent number: 7740787Abstract: A carrier mold having prongs that produces shaped tampons is provided. When subjected to pressure the prongs of the carrier mold flex to completely or substantially close one end of the carrier mold. A method of forming a shaped tampon using the carrier mold is also provided.Type: GrantFiled: October 28, 2008Date of Patent: June 22, 2010Assignee: The Procter & Gamble CompanyInventors: Wade Monroe Hubbard, Jr., Kevin Charles Strong, Michael John Mers-Kelly, Daniel Raymond Wiegele

Publication number: 20100143528Abstract: Two disk-shaped pans are moulded with radial depressions each having a substantially V-shaped transverse profile, with a progressively increasing width and depth from the center of each pan to its border. Motor elements such as a four-bar linkage are arranged for rotating one of the pans around its axis with a reciprocating motion. The other pan can be pressed against the former to squeeze a lump of dough placed therebetween.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 2, 2007Publication date: June 10, 2010Inventor: Stefano Tomatis

Patent number: 7726962Abstract: An apparatus and method for molding composite material with a selectable uniform predetermined temperature during most of the curing time. The mold apparatus has two cooperating and complementing mold bed assemblies hingedly mounted to each other and movable between two extreme positions, open and closed. A composite inner skin and outer skins sandwich a spacer in between. The spacer member includes interconnecting passages throughout. An outer perforated composite skin member covers the spacer member. A source for pressurized gas is applied to the mold assemblies when in the closed position. A predetermined cooperative temperature is selectably used to uniformly control the curing characteristics of the first and second skin members as the pressurized hot gas or air forced to pass through the outer skin and the spacer member adjacent to the inner skin thereby exposing the form being molded to a uniform temperature gradient.Type: GrantFiled: October 19, 2005Date of Patent: June 1, 2010Inventors: Joseba Aramburu, Sergio Velez

Patent number: 7717695Abstract: A film profile forming device includes a supporting table, a screw coupled to the supporting table in a perpendicular direction, a motor arranged on an end of the screw for rotating the screw, a guiding base having a screw hole engaged with the screw being driven by the screw for dispersing force and moving in the perpendicular direction, a lower base fixed under the supporting table, and a upper base glidingly arranged between the supporting table and the lower base. The upper base is brought by the guiding base and moves to and fro in the perpendicular direction to close or away from the lower base.Type: GrantFiled: December 10, 2007Date of Patent: May 18, 2010Assignee: Profile-Tech International Co., Ltd.Inventor: Yi Wen

Patent number: 7717696Abstract: Apparatus for double-sided imprint lithography of an apertured substrate comprises a pair of correspondingly apertured molds, a support for an assembly of the substrate and molds, and an alignment mechanism with radially movable elements for aligning the apertures of the molds and the substrate. The movable elements can be at least partially disposed in a spindle and can be removed radially outward by a conically tapered drive rod. Opposing surfaces of the substrate can then be imprinted in registration at the same time, preferably by fluid pressure imprint lithography.Type: GrantFiled: August 13, 2004Date of Patent: May 18, 2010Assignee: Nanonex Corp.Inventors: Stephen Chou, Linshu Kong, Colby Steere, Mingtao (Gary) Li, Hua Tan, Lin Hu
