    Abstract: A multilayered container includes at least a polyolefin inner layer; an adhesive layer; a gas-barrier layer; an oxygen-absorbing layer; a gas-barrier layer; an adhesive layer; a polyolefin outer layer, and having at least a body portion and a bottom portion, wherein the gas-barrier layers include an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer, the oxygen-absorbing layer includes an oxygen-absorbing resin composition that contains the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and an oxidizing organic component, an adsorbing agent is contained on the side inside of said gas-barrier layer, the thickness of the multilayered container at the thinnest portion is not more than 430 ?m, and the amount of oxygen absorbed after the heat-sterilization is not less than 23 cc per gram of the oxygen-absorbing resin composition. Despite of this decreased thickness, the multilayered container maintains excellent oxygen-barrier property and property for retaining flavor of the content even when it is subjected to the retort sterilization.

    Abstract: A novel type of ultrathin cationic hydrogel coatings are provided that have high, quick and reversible swelling/shrinkage transitions and surface wettability in response to pH changes. The poly(4-vinyl pyridine) (PVP) hydrogel films are produced by selective cross-linking of PVP copolymers in layer-by-layer (LbL) films assembled by spin-assisted method. These multilayer hydrogels exhibit drastic and reversible 10-fold swelling when the pH is changed from neutral to acidic. The swelling amplitude of these coatings is controlled by varying cross-link densities within the films. The pH-responsive hydrogels open new prospects for developing “intelligent” materials with sharp stimuli-triggered responses for applications in sensing, transport regulation, and self-cleaning coatings.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an interlayer film for a laminated glass which can suppress bubble formation and bubble growth in the laminated glass. An interlayer film 1 for a laminated glass includes a first layer 2 and a second layer 3 laminated on one face 2a of the first layer 2. Each of the first layer 2 and the second layer 3 contains a polyvinyl acetal resin and a plasticizer. In the case of measuring viscoelasticity of a resin film (glass transition temperature: Tg (° C.)) formed from the first layer 2 or a resin film (glass transition temperature: Tg (° C.)) formed with 100 parts by weight of the polyvinyl acetal resin contained in the first layer 2 and 60 parts by weight of a plasticizer of triethylene glycol di-2-ethylhexanoate (3GO) , the resin film has an elastic modulus of G?(Tg+80) at (Tg+80)° C. and an elastic modulus of G?(Tg+30) at (Tg+30)° C., and provides a ratio (G?(Tg+80)/G?(Tg+30)) of 0.65 or higher.
