    Abstract: There are provided a method for producing a magnesium alloy sheet having good press formability and a magnesium alloy coil stock obtained by coiling the magnesium alloy sheet. In addition, a variation in temperature in the width direction of the reduction roll can be suppressed and uniform rolling can be performed, resulting in the production of a long magnesium alloy sheet.

    Abstract: An annular metal cord and an endless metal belt are provided which have superior breaking strength and which are easy to be produced. The annular metal cord includes an annular core portion 3 and an outer layer portion 4. The annular core portion 3 is formed by connecting together both ends of a first strand material 1 which is made up of six twisted first metal filaments 5. The outer layer portion 4 is formed by winding spirally a second strand material 2 which is made up of six twisted second metal filaments 6 around the annular core portion 3. The second strand material 2 is wound at a predetermined winding angle relative to a center axis of the annular core portion 3, and a winding initiating end portion and a winding terminating end portion thereof are connected together. Since it is not that six second strand materials 2 are not wound but that the second strand material 2 is wound six rounds, there only has to be the single second strand material 2, and there is only one connecting portion.

    Abstract: A method for weaving beads together in order to form a textured chamber comprised of woven strings of beads and products generated thereby is shown. A plurality of bead strings, referred to herein as chains, are used which are comprised of beads connected by strings. Each bead has spacing corresponding to and functionally working with the spacing of the joining strands of string. There is near identity as far as bead spacing and bead size in the preferred embodiment between the multiple hanging chains and the single locking chain of beads. Two to three beads of each hanging chain are skipped, while preferably each bead after one or more initial strands of the locking chain are used in order to form a structure which has flexibility but strong contact. When multiple (three or more) separate chains are inter-woven with appropriate spacing, then the resulting structure is expanded outward to form a tube. This tube can be maintained by proper spacing and by locking the beads at either end.
