Abstract: The tackle box and live bait well comprises a tackle box, a live bait well, an air supply, and a lighting system. The tackle box, the live bait well, the air supply, and the lighting system may be contained within a housing that may be carried by a user. The tackle box may be operable to store tackle. As non-limiting examples, the tackle may comprise hooks, sinkers, bobbers, swivels, and/or fishing line. The live bait well may be a container for carrying live bait in water. The air supply may keep the water in the live bait well oxygenated. The lighting system may provide illumination when the tackle box and live bait well is used in dim lighting.

Abstract: Mountable trays for temperature probe hubs are disclosed. An example mountable tray includes a central portion, a peripheral portion, and a mounting arm. The central portion includes at least one drainage opening extending through the central portion. The peripheral portion is coupled to and extends upwardly from the central portion. The mounting arm is coupled to and extends upwardly from the peripheral portion. The mounting arm is configured to mount the mountable tray to a flange.

Abstract: A system and method for a cooler with a barrier. The cooler has an internal void and a barrier located within said void. The barrier has at least one covered opening. The barrier acts as a physical barrier which prevents air from exiting the cooler. A user can retrieve contents through the covered opening. In this manner, the temperature within the cooler is maintained.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a portable animal litter system is disclosed. The system includes a base container having a perimeter wall protruding substantially upward from a perimeter of a bottom panel. A plurality of looped inner walls is positioned concentrically so that the looped inner walls are in a telescoping arrangement. In a fully collapsed state, the looped inner walls are configured within the base container such that an upper end of each of the looped inner walls are proximate to each other. In an expanded configuration the upper ends of each looped inner wall are distal from each other. A lid is configured to attach to the base container when the system is in a collapsed configuration.

Abstract: This non-provisional application is a continuation-in-part application filed under 37 CFR 1.53(b) that claims the benefit of United States 35 USC 120 from non-provisional application U.S. Ser. No. 16/174,357 filed on Oct. 30, 2018, by the inventor: Danny Street. The sidewall-suspended boat cooler replaces the U-shaped space of the prior disclosure with a telescopic hook. Specifically, the rear wall overhang extension is removed and replaced by the telescopic hook. The telescopic hook catches on the sidewall of the vessel such that the telescopic hook combines with both: a) the superior horizontal surface of the prior disclosure; and, b) the vertical transfer surface of the prior disclosure to form a mechanical U-shaped structure in which the sidewall of the vessel inserts. The form factor of the telescopic structure is adjustable such that the mechanical U-shaped structure can adjust to accommodate variations in the form factor of the sidewall of the vessel.

Abstract: A fishing equipment storage assembly includes a first case that has a length of at least 2.0 meters for accommodating a length of a fishing pole for storage. A pair of rollers is provided and each of the rollers is rotatably coupled to the first case to roll along a support surface for transporting the first case. A handle is coupled to and extends partially around the first case for gripping and thusly transporting the first case. A second case is coupled to the first case to contain fishing tackle for transporting the fishing tackle with the fishing pole. A third case is removably positionable on the second case for transporting the third case. the third case has fishing tackle is contained therein for transporting the fishing tackle.

Abstract: A closure mechanism for locking a lid of a storage receptacle, such as a portable cooler, in a closed position. The closure mechanism includes an elongated rail attached to an outer surface of the storage receptacle. The closure mechanism further includes a flexible member having a first end fixedly attached to the lid of the storage receptacle. Disposed on the second end of the flexible member is a catch having a first tab and a second tab. The first tab and the second tab are each configured and dimensioned to selectively engage channels in the elongated rail.

Abstract: A 3D printer has a gantry configured to move in a plane substantially parallel to a build plane, and a platen configured to support a part being built. The platen is configured to move in a direction substantially normal to the build plane. A head carriage is carried by the gantry, and a print head is carried by and retained in the head carriage. A material container has a material container body and a material container cover configured to allow loading of a spool containing a supply of a consumable filament for printing with the 3D printer, the spool mounted on an axle containing a spool chip and electrical contacts. The material container body includes a first and second axle channels configured to accept first and second ends of the axle. The first axle channel has a number of electrical contacts and is tapered to orient the axle to align the axle contacts with the first axle channel contacts.

Abstract: A fishing accessory in the form of a straight and rigid hollow tubular sheath for containing and storing a fully assembled umbrella fishing rig. The majority of the length of the sheath is straight and is provided with a first open tapered end and a second open flared end. A curved slit extends between the two ends and communicates with a hollow interior of the sheath. A user draws the fishing rig into the sheath by pulling the fishing line which is attached to the head of the umbrella rig through the slit from the flared end to the tapered end. Outwardly biased arms of the rig collapse as they are drawn into the sheath, and the hooks of the rig are stored extended over a flared lip at the flared end of the sheath. The outwardly biased arms hold the rig within the sheath.

Abstract: A handheld tool carrying case has an illuminating device, which has at least one illumination arrangement. It is provided that the illuminating device has at least one cooling element for cooling the illumination arrangement.

Abstract: A cooler apparatus with drawers and twist or snap locks may be provided. The cooler may promote the efficient sorting of materials within an insulated membrane. The apparatus may consist of sliding drawers, color coded red-twist locks, and modular sub-compartments that may be used to store materials such as food and ice. The sliding compartments are insulated and the main body of the apparatus is insulated such that extreme insulation by multiple compartments ensures optimal thermal conditioning. Further, the apparatus may have a collapsible carry arm and adjustable handle. The apparatus may be insulated and may be heat resistant. The Apparatus may have a pair of team lift handles and a longer handle for individual mobility. There may be secure points to attach elastic chords such as bungee cords and external fasteners.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention are directed to a dispenser configured for storing one or more items and dispensing the stored items to authorized users. According to various embodiments, the dispenser generally includes a housing defining an interior portion dimensioned to receive a plurality of items and an access assembly configured to prevent unauthorized user access to the interior portion of the dispenser while providing selective access to certain items in response to input received from an authorized user. According to various embodiments, the access assembly comprises a pair of flexible barriers coupled to a sliding door assembly, which includes one or more lockable access doors. Together, the door assembly and flexible barriers prevent access to the interior of the dispenser when in a locked configuration and permit access to certain items when in an unlocked configuration.

Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of an aquaculture cage of the invention has a buoyant structure configured to float on a water surface, an aquaculture net portion made of a material that is corrodible by salt water and attached to the buoyant structure for positioning a top of the aquaculture net portion at a distance below the water surface, where the aquaculture net portion encloses an interior of the cage from the top of the aquaculture net portion to a bottom of the aquaculture net portion to retain marine life, and an upper enclosure portion enclosing space above the aquaculture net portion for preventing the marine life from escaping over the top of the aquaculture net portion, where the upper enclosure portion comprises a material that is substantially non-corrodible by salt water.

Abstract: Provided is a mounting structure of an external device, including an apparatus body in which an exhaust port or a suction port are formed, an external device that is connected to the apparatus body, and a mounting member that includes a body section having one side on which the external device is mounted and the other side which is mounted on the apparatus body so as to cover the exhaust port or the suction port, and plural protruding sections which protrude from the body section and come into contact with the apparatus body in positions different from the exhaust port or the suction port, and that is provided to make flow paths at portions other than the plural protruding sections so as to intersect or branch between the body section and the apparatus body, and at a center portion of the body section.

Abstract: A fishing lure and leader may reside in a modular fishing lure organization and storage container receptacle characterized by a chamber having a pair of parallel spaced-apart planar sidewalls, a pair of parallel spaced-apart outwardly concave channel walls connecting the planar sidewalls, and a receptacle saddle connecting the sidewalls and the channel walls. A closure is closeable over a chamber opening. A slot divides a concave channel wall, and extends from the chamber opening into the receptacle saddle. A fishing lure may be placed in the receptacle, and a leader attached to a fishing lure is insertable through the slot. The closure may be closed over the chamber opening, and the leader may be wrapped along the concave channel walls and over the receptacle saddle and the closure.

Abstract: A backlight module and a liquid crystal display are provided. The backlight module includes a plastic frame. The sidewalls of the plastic frame have an adjustable length. Each sidewall having the adjustable length includes at least two separated member slidably connected together. The present invention may flexibly set the plastic frame according to the size of the liquid crystal display, and need not specially configure the molds to produce the plastic frames for the different sizes of the liquid crystal display, thereby not only reducing the cost, but also increasing the manufacture efficiency.

Abstract: A fishing lure and leader may reside in a modular fishing lure organization and storage container receptacle characterized by a chamber having a pair of parallel spaced-apart planar sidewalls, a pair of parallel spaced-apart outwardly concave channel walls connecting the planar sidewalls, and a receptacle saddle connecting the sidewalls and the channel walls. A closure is closeable over a chamber opening. A slot divides a concave channel wall, and extends from the chamber opening into the receptacle saddle. A fishing lure may be placed in the receptacle, and a leader attached to a fishing lure is insertable through the slot. The closure may be closed over the chamber opening, and the leader may be wrapped along the concave channel walls and over the receptacle saddle and the closure.

Abstract: Foldable frame devices designed to transport fishing equipment and assorted items while functioning as a table and which are capable of being stored in confined spaces are disclosed. In an aspect, a foldable frame device may be carried by a user. The foldable frame device includes a rotating flat surface area which may be moved between a folded position and a usable position. In the folded position, the foldable frame device has a compact profile, thereby occupying a small amount of space for transportation or storage when not in use. In the usable position, the flat surface area extends away from the frame and may support items, such as fishing equipment.

Abstract: A fishing tackle organizer, usable alone or with a tackle box system, provides convenient storage and display of fishing tackle. The organizer includes an elongated body having a plurality of sites for securing tackle, and a back surface with means for securing the organizer to a desired structure, such as, for example, in a tackle box, on a boat, a fishing dock or in a garage. Each of the plurality of sites includes a hole in the elongated body and may include either a surface slot extending from the hole or a recessed upper surface to allow tackle to sit securely within the organizer. A door panel may also be provided to close over the body to retain tackle within the holes. The tackle box system is customizable and may include at least one of the disclosed organizers fixed or detachably positioned within a closable container.

Abstract: A fish grip includes a backing layer having a top surface and a bottom surface; a plurality of bristles, fixed to said backing layer, and extending from the top surface; and a base handle attached to the bottom surface. The fish grip can be bent along an axis that defines a first grip portion having a first bristle set and a second grip portion having a second bristle set facing the first bristle set, with the first and second grip portions defining a pocket therebetween. The first and second sets can simultaneously abut the fish to frictionally hold the fish in the static position.

Abstract: A tackle box specifically designed to accommodate an umbrella rig, fully assembled with four hook elements at the ends of the arms, and one hook assembly in the center of the umbrella rig, is disclosed. The tackle box provides four separate compartment in the four corners of the tackle box, one for each of the four hook elements at the ends of the umbrella arms, whereby each of the four hook elements is isolated and cannot entangle each other. A fifth central compartment is designed to accommodate the fifth, central hook element of the umbrella rig. At least four compartments are interspaced between four corner compartments to store tackle.

Abstract: The present invention provides a personal terminal tackle holder for anglers that releasably retains a plurality of fishing hooks, artificial flies, lures and pre tied leader rigs which is generally carried in an angler's pocket or attached to an item of clothing, fishing vest or gear. The holder includes a generally flat rectangular base made of resilient materials where artificial flies and rigs are held by being slotted into or embedded into the base. The base has two exposed elongated ribs protruding outwards from the base face, located towards both outer ends of the base they protect the tackle from being damaged or accidently dislodged from the device.

Abstract: A portable fishing-equipment organizer with a tubular outer frame and a mounting pane attached to the frame. At least one pouch is attached to the mounting pane, along with at least one spike-shaped rod holder that may be detachably mounted. A telescoping tripod may be attached to the frame. When the organizer is carried, the tripod may be collapsed. When the tripod is extended, the organizer may be self standing, with the pouches at a convenient height for access. The organizer may be carried by one or more shoulder straps that may have pouches attached to them.

Abstract: To provide a better experience for ice fisherman and fisherman generally, the present inventor devised, among other things, apparatus, assemblies, components, and methods for holding a fishing device, such as a fishing rod. One exemplary apparatus includes an adjustable rod holder pivotably mounted or coupled to a base structure. The rod holder, which can be strapped or otherwise attached to one or more types of fishing rods or poles, has an adjustable center of gravity and/or an adjustable pivot point. The adjustable center of gravity and/or pivot point allows users to balance the fishing rod at various tip angles, up or down, and thus to position the rod in a way most suitable for the type of desired fish. The exemplary apparatus is particularly suitable as a replacement for the conventional tip-ups used in ice fishing, because it provides advantages of conventional rod & reel fishing with those of conventional tip-down fishing.

Abstract: An ice fishing equipment carrier is provided that comprises a rectangular frame having an open interior and open upper, a sled lower surface, a set of shoulder straps, and an extendable handle. The rectangular frame is comprised of a pair of sidewalls, an open forward and rear wall, an open interior volume and an enclosed base. Elongated fishing equipment and tools are supported within the open interior of the frame, wherein the tools are received through the open upper and secured within the lower interior portion thereof. Retractable shelves are positioned along the base of the frame for storage of smaller equipment and supplies. Finally, the outer surfaces of the frame sidewalls include re hook hangers for suspended equipment therefrom. The frame is shoulder carried or slid along a snow or ice surface to an ice fishing location, whereafter it is free standing and provides a static equipment rack.

Abstract: A fishing gear holding assembly is provided for floating on a water surface to facilitate fishing without having to leave the water. The assembly includes a buoyant support having an outer perimeter wall, a bottom wall, an upper wall, and an inner perimeter wall. The inner perimeter wall defines a well in the support. A box has a base wall and a peripheral wall coupled to and extending upwardly from the base wall. The box is positioned in the well. At least one upright tube is coupled to and positioned in the box. The upright tube is configured for receiving and supporting a fishing rod in an upright position. A plurality of floats is positioned in the well around the box.

Abstract: A system, kit and method for organizing and securing devices such as ice fishing equipment, in a cylindrical receptacle. The system includes at least one web, but preferably includes two webs of material having different diameters but each having an array of apertures such that when aligned and placed in a receptacle, the two webs may be used to support and carry items in a secure and organized fashion. Further contemplated are other mountable devices capable of holding elongate items for attachment to the cylindrical receptacle and/or a wall mount.

Abstract: A carrier unit for a plurality of fishing rods has a base from which first and second spaced apart legs project. First and second clip elements attach to and project from the first and second legs respectively. Each clip has a holding slot with an open end, for receiving and detachably retaining at least one of a handle portion and a rod portion of a rod assembly. The clip elements are mountable on the respective legs in approximate alignment with each other. The legs may comprise parts of first and second leg frames projecting from the base in the form of an A-frame and carrying four or more clip elements.

Abstract: A combination bait bucket and tackle box comprises a cylindrical container providing a means for dry storage of fishing supplies and also live bait. The bait container comprises a top portion of the device. The container further comprises a hinged access lid, a carrying handle, and a pair of slots adapted for securely receiving an aerator pump and a lantern. A bottom portion of the bait container lockably engages a top portion of the tackle box in order to allow the entire apparatus to be carried as unitary device. The tackle box comprises a round bottom portion of the apparatus which includes a plurality of drawers for storage of fishing supplies.

Abstract: A portable fishing rod holder for housing fishing rods can be used during transportation to and from fishing. The portable fishing rod holder can hold multiple fishing rods. The combination of a deep cut rod holder and an extra-long handle allow the rods to be carried in a perfect diagonal position, lower and closer to the user for increased comfort and user maneuverability, as well as for increased protection of rods and reels. The portable fishing rod holder has built-in legs, a home stand option, and the ability to hold and carry larger rods with conventional reels.

Abstract: An aquatic collection receptacle that floats while remaining attached to a diver. Embodiments can include floatable rim with an attached underwater container. Further embodiments include an escape barrier or crossing lines over the mouth of the receptacle to prevent loss of contents while floating. A lanyard connects the receptacle to a diver, allowing it to float and be pulled along by the diver. If pulled beneath the water surface by the lanyard, the floatable rim can fold or otherwise close over the mouth of the container to prevent loss of contents. Alternative embodiments include a breakaway lanyard to ensure safety of the diver.

Abstract: A floating apparatus for receiving, containing, and transporting live catch in water is provided with a floating structure and a container structure disposed in the floating structure. The container structure is water permeable, such as by way of holes or mesh, to allow catch disposed therein to remain in water and alive. One or more conveniences are provided in the floating member, such as a water-resistant storage compartment, a cup holder recess, an audio output speakers, a radio tuner, a video display device, a water resistant battery compartment, a connector for connecting an electronic device to a speaker, a shellfish size gauge, and/or a tether clip or hook.

Abstract: A fishing tackle box includes interchangeable inserts for holding sections of a fishing rod. Each interchangeable insert is releasably held within an associated retaining channel of a body of the tackle box by snap-fit engagement. Each interchangeable insert includes a plurality of apertures and cylindrical channels to hold differently-sized cross-sections of fishing rod segments through snap-fit engagement. Multiple, differently sized interchangeable inserts are held in a spaced orientation by the tackle box body, thus accommodating the longitudinal tapering of the segments of the fishing rod. Through the use of interchangeable inserts, the same fishing tackle box may be releasably secured to a variety of differently sized fishing rods by selecting appropriately sized interchangeable inserts dimensioned to match the particular fishing rod to be releasably held by the tackle box.

Abstract: A fly-line management device includes a mounting structure, a line holder brace, and a line holder. The mounting structure includes a support frame for bearing the line holder brace and a fastening strap and an end connector for attaching the mounting structure to a fishing rod. The line holder brace is connected to the support frame and retains the line holder. The line holder has a plurality of prongs in between which line is run by an angler to form loops of line as the line is stripped in to make a cast. The line is clamped in between each of the plurality of prongs with enough force as to hold the line in-place while setting up the cast, yet allow the line to be released passively during the final casting stroke. An outer coating may be utilized to alter the coefficient of friction of the plurality of prongs.

Abstract: A charge box for charging phosphorescent fishing lures. The box includes a bottom, top and walls, the bottom and walls being connected to define an interior space, the top is hinged to the walls such that the box can be opened and closed. A reflective material covers the interior surface, along the bottom, top and walls. A light source is housed within the interior space and a power source is provided to energize the light source. Once the light source is energized it is reflected by the reflective surface, so the a phosphorescent fishing lure can be charged when placed into the interior space with the top closed.

Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a waste fishing line holder for anglers carried by a person while fishing. It secures the waste fishing line that an angler generates when changing flies or fishing rigs. The holder is carried in an angler's pocket, a tackle box or attached to an item of clothing or gear. The apparatus is mostly comprised of a generally J shaped body with a long leg and a short leg and being of elongate length of rigid and durable material with an area of deformable resilient and cushioned material attached to the short leg. Formed so that line is held securely in a slit/gap between the long leg and deformable cushioned material.

Abstract: A tackle box specifically designed to accommodate an umbrella rig, fully assembled with four hook elements at the ends of the arms, and one hook assembly m the center of the umbrella rig, is disclosed. Abstract: A single small elastic disk, which may or may not include a central perforation, is dispensed from the storage cavity of the device into a holding channel at the edge thereof so that it can be threaded onto a fishhook to serve as a bait retainer. The lateral movement of the hook from the edge of the dispenser removes the retainer from the channel, so that is placing firmly on the shaft of the fishhook. The central portion, being opened by the fishhook tip before removal from the dispenser, will exert a gripping force when disposed on the shaft or shank portion of a fish hook. Preferably, the disk portion of one such retainer when placed against adjacently threaded bait or lures will retain them on the hook during use until the bait or lure is intentionally removed.

Abstract: A tackle box with a rod holder for use during fishing activities is provided herein. The rod holder is detachably attached to the tackle box. A rod holder mount attached or molded into one of the tackle box lids secures the rod holder. The rod holder swivels horizontally 360 degrees and can tilt up or down so that a fishing rod secured in the rod holder can be oriented as the user desires. The rod holder possesses a ground stake that allows the rod holder to be removed from the tackle box and used independently. Once the ground stake is driven into soil, dirt, or even loose rocks, the rod holder is rotatable and can tilt up or down allowing a fishing rod to be properly oriented. The tackle box has adequate storage space and internal compartments for keeping fishing tackle stored and organized. The fishing tackle is still accessible even when a fishing rod is mounted in the rod holder and the rod holder is attached to the tackle box.

Abstract: The invention is a tackle container that incorporates interchangeable and removable inserts. The inserts secure different kinds of fishing lures and baits. For example, the inserts hold segmented lures within notched upright posts. In this regard, the inserts may be suitably structured to hold spinner bait lures, buzz bait lures, or other fishing lures with segmented bodies. Moreover, the inserts are interchangeable to facilitate a wider variety of uses for the tackle container.

Abstract: A removable bait cooling having an outer container defining an first upper opening and an inner cooler zone and a plurality elongated of inner cooler members, each of the elongated inner cooler members with a first end, a second end opposite to the first end, and a substantially watertight sidewall separating the first and second ends with the sidewall at least partially defining a bait placement zone. The elongated inner cooler members also having a substantially watertight bottom surface at least partially defining the bait placement zone and a second upper opening defined by the second end of the inner cooler member, being coupled to at least one other inner cooler member, and being removable from, and insertable within, the first upper opening as a unit.

Abstract: An ice fishing equipment storage and transport system or kit provides easier and more organized retention of ice fishing equipment when being stored, transported, or in use. System can include a container such as a bucket having an open interior. A sleeve can be selectively attachable to the bucket and include one or more rod holder tubes, the rod holder tubes having one or more channels or slots adapted to hold an ice fishing rod or tip-up. A bucket container extension portion can attach to the bucket to capture and retain the sleeve between the bucket and the extension. The system can also include a lid for covering the bucket. In some embodiments, the lid can include additional features such as a selectively attachable transducer guide channel and an opening allowing for passage of a battery cable.

Abstract: A fishing leader holding includes a cylinder that is positioned between and is attached to a first lateral wall and a second lateral wall. Each of the first and second lateral walls has a perimeter edge extending outwardly from the cylinder to define a spool. A catch is attached to the perimeter edge of one of the first or second lateral walls. The catch is configured to engage a hoop of a fishing leader when a fishing leader is extended along the cylinder. A hold is attached to the perimeter edge of one of the first or second lateral walls. A tether is configured to engage a hook of the fishing leader. The tether is releasably engageable with the hold. The cylinder is configured to receive the fishing leader such that the fishing leader extends around the cylinder and is retained on the cylinder with the hold and the catch.

Abstract: A storage device that effectively organizes and protects dropper-rig, fly-fishing assemblies and the leaders that connect them. The device has an openable cap that creates a watertight interior through which a guide extends from the closed end of the device toward the cap. In operation, a user opens the cap of the device and slides an extension along the guide outward from the center of the outer case. With the extension fully exposed, a user attaches previously created dropper-rig assemblies. To attach an assembly, a user takes one of the two flies comprising a dropper-rig assembly and hooks it anywhere on a flexible sleeve that surrounds the extension. He then wraps the leader line, (the line that connects the two flies) around the sleeve until the second fly is in a position to be hooked to the sleeve. A user then returns the extension to within the outer case and seals the device by locking down the cap.

Abstract: The fishing tackle box includes a container, a plurality of first guide slots spaced along a first sidewall of the container, a plurality of second guide slots spaced along a second sidewall of the container, and at least one lure holder having an angular panel including a plurality of spaced apart slots for receiving at least one fishing lure with a hook of the fishing lure positioned below the panel and a body of the fishing lure positioned above said panel. At least one first protrusion extends laterally outward from a first sidewall of said lure holder and at least one second protrusion extends laterally outward from a second sidewall of said lure holder to be collectively received by at least one first guide slot and at least one second guide slot. The lure holder may be comprised of different sizes to hold different sizes or numbers of fishing lures.

Abstract: A card-like device for storing and retrieving multiple sizes of leader materials in a shirt pocket size configuration in which all the housed leader material sizes are clearly and always visible and which permits quick and easy finding of the stored leader material ends, and firm retention and easy grasping of same.

Abstract: An apparatus to fish having a body with exterior and interior faces extending from a first edge to a first end. At least one shaped channel is defined at the interior face, each shaped channel has a first channel extending from the first edge, and a second channel extending from the first channel. The body further has a first wall that extends from the interior face at a first predetermined distance from the first edge. A housing assembly is removably mounted into the body. The housing assembly has a second wall with a second edge, a first base wall with a third edge, and a housing. A first outside diameter of the second wall is smaller than a first interior diameter of the interior face. Protrusions protrude from the second edge; and a handle fixed to the interior face.

Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a wearable fishing rod holder for anglers, worn by a person while fishing, it secures a fishing rod to an angler. The rod holder is attached to an item of clothing or gear and is generally worn on an angler's chest. It releasably holds a fishing rod in a generally vertical position and is comprised of a rod support member and attachment member for securing the holder to the user. The rod support apparatus is mostly comprised of a deformable resilient and cushioned material that is formed so that it compresses upon the rod portion of a fishing rod to hold it securely.

Abstract: A strap on fishing rod rack comprising of fixed horizontal panels, tubular housing, straps and a fastening device. The rack straps around an ice cooler or other object and hold a plurality of fishing rods in an upright position. The device is removable and can be affixed without the need for screws or drilling making it useful for mounting to coolers and other fixtures that are unsuitable for other mounting applications. The rack includes horizontal panels on which vertical fishing rod support tubes are affixed. Individual horizontal panels may consist of two members, each with a channel and groove extending the length of the member. The members may be joined creating a channel along the inside of each horizontal panel. The rack includes straps. A strap slides inside the horizontal panel, in one end, and exits out the other. A stainless steel ratchet buckle is affixed on one end of each strap providing a simple but secure method to firmly attach the apparatus to the fixture.
