    Abstract: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having provided thereon at least one photographic layer including at least one silver halide emulsion layer, whereinat least one silver halide emulsion layer contains silver halide grains whose average value of the diameter corresponding to the projected area of a group of silver halide grains that take 40% of the total projected area of whole silver halide grains present in said silver halide emulsion layer is at least 1.5 .mu.m andat least one photographic layer contains at least one compound capable of imagewise releasing a fogging agent or a precursor thereof or a development accelerator or a precursor thereof corresponding to a quantity of developed silver upon development, is disclosed. This material is of very high sensitivity and, furthermore, has a high developing speed and has reduced for formation irrespective of its high sensitivity.
