Mounted For Pouring Discharge Patents (Class 432/211)
  • Patent number: 9777348
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a copper alloy is provided, including melting and casting a copper alloy having a composition expressed, in atomic percent, by a formula of Cu100?(a+b)ZraBb, wherein 1.0?a?8.0, 0?b?4.0, and a+b?8.0, by a nonrefractory melting method. A cold working with a reduction of about 50% or more for the copper alloy without a solution treatment is performed to provide the copper alloy a dual phase structure having a layered structure including a Cu matrix phase having a plurality of grain particles having an average diameter of about 10 ?m or less, and an eutectic phase around the Cu matrix phase. At least part of each grain particle contacts another grain particle within the eutectic phase, and the eutectic phase includes at least one of a Cu—Zr compound and a Cu—Zr—B compound.

  • Publication number: 20020115036
Abstract: An apparatus for evacuating liquid condensation from pipe systems which is particularly applicable to exhaust pipe systems in high efficiency furnaces. The apparatus forms a junction sleeve between two pipes and has drainage channels which prevent condensate liquid from flowing from one pipe into the other pipe. A thermoplastic rubber composition of the apparatus dampens noise and vibration in the pipe system. External grooves provide locating features for mounting clamps.

  • Patent number: 4871309
Abstract: An apparatus for producing a sample is disclosed which has a tilting mechanism (12, 14, 22). The tilting mechanism has a crucible holder (70) releasably coupled thereto and a crucible (100), which is provided with a flange (102), is insertable into the crucible (70) so that the crucible can be tilted by the tilting mechanism. A dish (46) is supported by a support (44) so that the tilting mechanism can tilt the crucible (100) to pour the contents of the crucible into the dish (46). Burners (48 and 50) are provided for heating the contents of the crucible (100) and dish (46).

  • Patent number: 4856988
Abstract: The invention relates to a melting and metering assembly for meltable or liquid material. The melting and metering assembly comprises a tank/furnace (1) making it possible to heat the material in order to bring it to the melted or liquid state. It also possesses an intake nozzle (10) and a draw-off nozzle (11) for a floatation fluid for the meltable or liquid material, the nozzle (10, 11) being arranged at the base of the tank/furnace (1). The tank/furnace also has means (2) for drawing off the melted meltable or liquid material by overflow and means (3) for protecting the means (2) for drawing off by overlfow, making it possible to prevent the latter from being blocked by the unmelted meltable material. The invention is put into practice in apparatuses for the continuous production of emulsion used in the composition of pharmaceutical and/or nutritious products.

  • Patent number: 4050890
Abstract: A hot melt body for an applicator or dispenser of thermoplastic adhesive first received in solid form, either as a progressively fed rod or in another mode, is provided having especial advantage in a light-weight hand-type device. The main melt chamber and its auxiliary channels as well as their interconnecting passageways are of configuration and spacing to effect maximum efficiency in transfering melting heat from a heating means to the adhesive being liquefied. To this end, also, complemental portions of the body include passageways designed to provide minimum, substantially uniform resistance to advance of the solid adhesive along the length of the melt body.

  • Patent number: 3957032
Abstract: The disclosed embodiment of the present invention is an apparatus for bending plastic pipe so that it can be molded to a desired configuration. The disclosed apparatus includes a generally cylindrical container which is open at one end and contains a heat transfer medium, preferably in liquid form, in which the plastic pipe can be submerged. The container is mounted at an acute angle with respect to horizontal so that one end of a pipe can be inserted into the open end thereof. A heating unit maintains the heat transfer medium within the container at a regulated temperature which is within the temperature range for heating plastic pipe sufficiently to permit it to be molded. The container and heating unit are mounted on a carriage for providing portability to the apparatus.
