    Abstract: The invention relates to a Switch connector for mounting on a printed circuit board, adapted to receive a mating connector in an insertion direction along an insertion axis. The switch connector comprises a shield, a contact element, and a contact spring having at least one fixed leg, at least one elastically deflectable switching leg, and at least one spring bend, the fixed leg and the switching leg extending from the spring bend in a common direction and passing the insertion axis. The switching leg is adapted to be moved by insertion of the mating connector from a rest position, at which the switching leg exerts a spring force onto the contact element, to a switching position, at which the switching leg is spaced apart from the contact element, at least one spring force flux that in the rest position is generated by the switching leg and guided in a closed loop to the fixed leg. To increase the reliability of the switching function, the shield is arranged in the closed loop of the spring force flux.

When a plug is plugged into the safety socket, the prongs of the plug outward bias spring limbs of the first and second conductive clamp seats into contact with the corresponding first and second power terminals respectively. Only under such circumstance, the first and second conductive clamp seats electrically contact the first and second power terminals to close the circuit and provide power for an electric appliance. If a child inserts a conductive article into the first or second insertion hole, the danger of electrical shock can be avoided to ensure safety in use of electricity.

    Abstract: The inventive concept is directed to a shock-proof electrical outlet. The front of the electrical outlet has two openings to receive the prongs of a male plug. One side of the opening is the hot side while the other side is the neutral side. Below each of the openings are located two opposed switches oriented such that when the prongs of the male plug are passing through the openings they will activate the switches. The switches in turn will turn on an energize an ignition coil. As soon as the ignition coil is energized it will activate other switches which in turn will turn on the power to the two prongs of the male plug by way of interposed copper contacts. Any foreign objects inserted into any of the openings cannot energize both switches simultaneously and therefore cannot produce an electric shock to the person.

    Abstract: An outlet (1) includes a plurality of blade receiving members (13) adapted in use to be connected respectively to a plurality of DC supply lines (Wdc1 and Wdc2), and to be connected respectively to a plurality of blades (21) of an outlet plug (2). The outlet (1) is configured to supply DC power from the plurality of the DC supply lines (Wdc1 and Wdc2) to the outlet plug (2) via the plurality of the blade receiving members (13). The outlet (1) includes a wiring detecting means (3). The wiring detecting means (3) is configured to determine proper wiring when the plurality of the DC supply lines is connected respectively to the plurality of the blade receiving members at proper polarity, and to determine improper wiring when the plurality of the DC supply lines is connected respectively to the plurality of the blade receiving members at improper polarity.

    Abstract: A safety socket includes a first conductive clamp seat and a second conductive clamp seat in alignment with a first insertion hole and a second insertion hole. In normal state, the first and second conductive clamp seats are spaced from a first power terminal and a second power terminal in an open state. When a plug is plugged into the safety socket, the prongs of the plug outward bias spring limbs of the first and second conductive clamp seats into contact with the corresponding first and second power terminals respectively. Only under such circumstance, the first and second conductive clamp seats electrically contact the first and second power terminals to close the circuit and provide power for an electric appliance.
