Abstract: The present invention is to provide a metal particle dispersion for electroconductive substrates, which has high dispersibility and dispersion stability and which is able to form a film that shows high electroconductivity after baking. Disclosed is a metal particle dispersion for electroconductive substrates, comprising metal particles, a dispersant and a solvent, wherein the dispersant is a graft copolymer having at least a constitutional unit represented by the following chemical formula (I) and a constitutional unit represented by the following chemical formula (II): (Symbols in the formulae are as described in the Description.
Abstract: Low sulphur marine fuel compositions are provided. Embodiments comprise 10 to 50 wt % of a residual hydrocarbon component, with the remaining 50 to 90 wt % selected from a non-hydroprocessed hydrocarbon component, a hydroprocessed hydrocarbon component, and a combination thereof. Embodiments of the marine fuel composition can have a sulphur content of about 0.1 wt % or less.

Abstract: A method of impeding the evaporation of a solvent by at least partially dissolving a solvent soluble polymer in the solvent in sufficient amounts so as to impede the evaporation of the solvent is disclosed. In one embodiment the soluble polymer may be selected from the group including oligomeric or polymeric homo-, co-, and terpolymers wherein a vinylcyclohexyl moiety comprises at least 10% weight of the polymer. Another aspect is generally directed to a method of storing a solvent including placing the solvent in a suitable container for storage, and dissolving in at least a portion of the solvent sufficient amounts of a soluble polymer so as to impede the evaporation of the solvent. Also described are compositions including a solvent and a polymer dissolved in the solvent so as to impede evaporation of the solvent.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to the use of cyclic amide alkoxylate compounds as additives in fuel compositions having a major amount of a mixture of hydrocarbons in the gasoline boiling range and a minor amount of one or more cyclic amide alkoxylate compounds of the formula: ##STR1## wherein x is from 2 to 20 and y is from 1 to 50. R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are independently hydrogen or hydrocarbyl of 1 to 100 carbon atoms. R.sub.3 is hydrocarbyl of 1 to 100 carbon atoms and R.sub.4 is independently hydrocarbyl of 2 to 100 carbon atoms. R.sub.5 is hydrogen, hydrocarbyl of 1 to 100 carbon atoms or acyl of 1 to 20 carbon atoms. The invention is also directed to the use of these cyclic amide alkoxylate compounds for decreasing intake valve deposits, controlling octane requirement increases and reducing octane requirement. The invention is further directed to novel cyclic amide alkoxylate compounds.
