    Abstract: A method and apparatus for the inspection of light emitting semiconductor devices. The semiconductor device is illuminated with a light source, wherein at least an area of the light emitting semiconductor is illuminated with a waveband of light. The waveband of light ?A+?B can generate electron-hole pairs in the light emitting semiconductor to be inspected. Through an objective lens at least a part of the light ?C emitted by the light emitting semiconductor is detected. The emitted light is captured with a sensor of a camera that is sensitive to wavelengths of the emitted light, wherein the wavelength of the emitted light is above the width of the waveband. The data of the emitted light, captured with the sensor, are transmitted to a computer system for calculating inspection results of the light emitting semiconductor.

    Abstract: The invention discloses a power-up circuit, an LCD substrate, and a method for manufacturing an LCD panel. The power-up circuit of a PSVA LCD panel includes a conductive lead connected with an external power supply, and a plurality of data lines for supplying power to pixel electrodes of the LCD panel. One end of each data line is coupled with the conductive lead, and the other end is electrically connected with at least one another data line when power is applied. In the invention, because different data lines are mutually connected, when one data line is disconnected, the disconnected line connected to the conductive lead can continuously achieve power supply; the disconnected line on the other end can be connected to other normal data lines and can achieve power supply through normal data lines. Thus, the fault is controlled within the range of a disconnected point; the conventional linear defects are reduced to point defects, thereby improving PSVA light alignment effect.

    Abstract: A light emitting device is provided to produce white light with a stable correlated color temperature and stable color coordinates. The light emitting device includes a blue LED chip and a yellow phosphor. The blue LED chip has a peak wavelength X slightly smaller than the peak wavelength Y of the phosphor such that when the light emitting device is subjected to a predetermined operating current, the phosphor decays due to thermal effect, and the LED chip has its emission spectrum red-shifted to substantially match with the excitation spectrum of the phosphor. At this time, the excitation ability of the LED chip is increased and causes an increase of yellow power output from the phosphor that substantially compensates a decrease of yellow light output caused by the phosphor.
