The support pad may be formed by placing a layer of support material between an outer layer and an inner layer. Both the outer layer and the inner layer may include a foam portion and a cover lining portion. The support pad according to the present invention incorporates support material into the support pad so there is no need for the attachment of elastic to the outside of the pad.
