Abstract: An air mixing damper, which is displaceable in a direction substantially perpendicular to an air flow direction, is disposed between an evaporator and a heater core in a casing that constitutes a vehicular air conditioner. In the air mixing damper, a plurality of ribs are formed so as to project on a side of a dividing wall that divides an air flow passage, and rack gears, which are enmeshed with a shaft, are formed on an inner circumferential surface on the opposite side thereof. In addition, when the air mixing damper is assembled in the casing, in a condition in which the ribs are in abutment against a sealing surface of the dividing wall, pinion gears of the shaft are enmeshed with the rack gears, whereby jostling of the air mixing damper is prevented.

The system comprises a flow path (22) extending through the system from an air inlet (4) to a clean air outlet (5). A motor-driven fan (24) located along the flow path draws particulate debris laden air into the inlet and rotates it about an axis (A-A) to form a rotating flow that stratifies the debris laden air with the heaviest particles in the outermost orbits of the rotating flow. An ejector port (8) is provided for ejecting particulate debris laden air from the stratified rotating flow in the system to the environment. An air filter (9) located within the rotating flow and across the flow path upstream of the outlet filters air from the innermost orbits of the stratified rotating flow. The system is formed of a plurality of components (2, 3) separately mountable in remote locations (32, 33) in a device to be supplied with clean air. Abstract: An adjustable air vent assembly has a frame and a plurality of louvers pivotally mounted to the frame. The plurality of louvers is movable between a closed position and a diffuse position. In the closed position, each louver has an edge contacting an edge of at least one other louver to substantially prevent air from flowing through the plurality of louvers in the closed position. In the diffuse position a first louver is oriented along a non-parallel plane with respect to a second louver. A single actuator is provided for moving the plurality of louvers between the closed and diffuse positions.
