  • Patent number: 10250974
Abstract: A signal processing system includes microphone units connected in series and a host device connected to one of the microphone units. Each of the microphone units has a microphone, a temporary storage memory, and a processing section for processing the sound picked up by the microphone. The host device has a non-volatile memory in which a sound signal processing program for the microphone units is stored. The host device transmits the sound signal processing program read from the non-volatile memory to each of the microphone units. Each of the microphone units temporarily stores the sound signal processing program in the temporary storage memory. The processing section performs a process corresponding to the sound signal processing program temporarily stored in the temporary storage memory and transmits the processed sound to the host device.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a signal processing method, apparatus, and system, where the method includes: receiving a downlink signal that carries an uplink signal; and performing first interference cancellation on the uplink signal by using an estimated self-interference signal, so that a remaining amount of interference of the uplink signal is less than a first interference threshold, thereby minimizing out-of-band interference of the uplink signal on the downlink signal without using a plurality of radio frequency front-ends or without using a duplexer on a same radio frequency front-end. In the embodiments of the present invention, no duplexer is adopted, and therefore, difficulty and a cost of base station and system layout can be reduced, and extra energy consumption of a mobile terminal can also be reduced.

Abstract: The present application describes systems and methods of performing self-interference cancellation. According to an embodiment, the method sends a transmit signal through a circulator to substantially isolate the transmit signal from a receiver, with at least a portion of the transmit signal entering a receive path towards the receiver. The method also generates a reflected signal from an antenna. The reflected signal is at substantially less power than an incident power to the antenna. The reflected signal includes a transmitter carrier signal and a transmitter noise. The method also routes a received signal from the antenna to the receiver, and routes the reflected signal through a phase shifter in the receive path. Further, the method combines the reflected, phase shifted transmitter noise with the received signal in the receive path to cancel the portion of the transmit signal that entered the receive path towards the receiver.

The obtention of said bit rate information may by receiving a message from the another (relayed) device, UE1, for registering the UE1 to an application server, AS (PSCC). The registration message may comprise UE1 identity, UE-R identity and information identifying a bit rate required by the UE1 while communicating via the UE-R (e.g. an AMBR parameter such as Relay-APN-AMBR). The UE-R sends the registration message received from the UE1 to a core network (7) node (e.g. a gateway device like a P-GW or S-GW, an MME, or a PCRF) comprising the information identifying a bit rate for relaying communication data for the UE (3-1, 3-3) to which the bit rate information relates.

  • Patent number: 9960836
Abstract: A satellite is configured for use in space so as to receive RF signals, convert them to a different frequency range, and retransmit the converted RF signals. The satellite comprises a payload area supporting a motherboard structure with a plurality of frequency converters supported on it. The frequency converters are each connected with an antenna system of the satellite so that each of them receives a respective RF input signal. A local oscillator source supported on said motherboard structure generates a local oscillator signal, and a motherboard in the motherboard structure receives the local oscillator signal and transmits it through the motherboard to each of the frequency converters. The frequency converters each convert the respective RF input signal to a respective RF output signal using the local oscillator signal and transmit the RF output signal to the antenna system so as to be transmitted wirelessly.

Abstract: Disclosed herein, one embodiment of the disclosure is directed to a system, apparatus, and method for enabling simultaneous transmit and receive in the same Wi-Fi band within a device by first obtaining a first information corresponding to a first set of signals to be transmitted wirelessly by a first antenna of a first device and transmitting, by the first antenna of the first device, the first set of signals. Then, a second set of signals comprising: (a) the first set of signals transmitted by the first antenna of the first device and (b) a third set of signals transmitted by a second device different than the first device are received by a second antenna of the first device. Thereafter, a second information representing the second set of signals received by the second antenna of the first device is obtained. Last, based on the first information and the second information, a third information comprising an estimation of the third set of signals without the first set of signals is determined.

  • Patent number: 9917682
Abstract: The embodiments relate to a method and a base station (110) for interference management in a cellular network (100) employing Space-Division uplink (UL) downlink (DL) Duplexing (SDD). The base station (110) assigns a plurality of Remote Radio Units (RRU) as Tx RRUs operable to dedicatedly transmit downlink signals to a plurality of UEs and Rx RRUs operable to dedicatedly receive uplink signals from the plurality of UEs at the same frequency band and same time as the transmission of the Tx RRUs. The base station then suppresses the interference caused by simultaneous transmission on the same frequency band by using a Tx spatial beamforming weighting matrix and a Rx spatial beamforming weighting matrix. In addition, the base station may perform cross-talk cancellation on the residual interference contained in the received signals by using the knowledge of the downlink traffic data.
