The wireless communication network wirelessly transmits reference signals to the wireless communication devices at an initial reference signal power level. The wireless communication network determines an amount of the wireless communication devices that wirelessly receive the data signals. The wireless communication network determines a new reference signal power level based on the amount of the wireless communication devices that wirelessly receive the data signals. The wireless communication network wirelessly transmits additional reference signals to the wireless communication devices at the new reference signal power level.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, storage media, etc., to perform media monitoring for mobile platforms using messaging associated with adaptive bitrate streaming are disclosed. An example media platform disclosed herein is to detect an outgoing message to be sent by the mobile platform to stream media in accordance with an online streaming protocol, and associate resource identifier information included in the outgoing message with a time value. The disclosed example media platform is also to transmit the outgoing message to a first server to cause the media to be streamed to the mobile platform, and transmit the resource identifier information and the time value to a second server different from the first server to cause a media impression associated with the mobile platform to be monitored.

Using network technology and novel processes, in particular embodiments, the present systems and methods facilitate local network discovery and communication between a payment terminal and an electronic cash register (“ECR”) via a browser. For example, in certain embodiments, the present systems and methods leverage TCP/IP network technology to securely facilitate communications between SaaS ECR software running in a browser environment and one or more payment terminals.

The method includes detecting phishing text messages directed to one or more users associated with a first server, and transmitting a Call Data Record (CDR) for the one or more phishing text messages and obtaining access tokens for the CDRs of the one or more phishing text messages from the second server. Furthermore, the method includes transmitting text and hashed tokens of CDRs of the one or more phishing text messages to the first server for investigation, and receiving a CDR access request for accessing CDRS of a selected one or more phishing text messages from the first server and transmitting the CDR access tokens of the selected one or more phishing text messages to the first server to access the CDRs.

The base station may transmit the scheduled downlink message to a user equipment (UE) using the reduced transmission power and may transmit, to the UE an indication of a power adjustment for a downlink measurement of the scheduled downlink message. The UE may receive the indication after receiving the scheduled downlink message and may adjust the downlink measurement in accordance with the indication of the power adjustment.

The disclosed hybrid network traffic steering is effectuated by using Diameter Routing Agent (DRA) and Subscriber Location Function (SLF) to route/steer fourth-generation (4G) network traffic by 5G subscribers to a 5G Charging Function (CHF) for 4G fallback network consumptions. Network currency consumption tracking is performed by the 5G CHF. The CHF dictates policy rules for 5G networks via the Policy Control Function (PCF) of the 5G Core, and dictates policy rules for 4G networks via the Policy and Charging Rules Functions (PCRF) for fallback sessions.

In one embodiment, a Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) server is implemented at a Radio Access Network (RAN) of a next generation network. The MEC server hosts a plurality of edge applications provisioned to provide MEC services for a session. The MEC server communicates with a Session Management Function (SMF) of the next generation network to acquire a quota of service units for the session. The MEC server then manages the quota by allocating slices of the quota to the edge applications, and transmitting messages to the edge applications indicating the slices allocated to the edge applications.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for the recognition and allocation of revenue generated by a subscription based pricing model or plan that is applied to a product or service. Embodiments respond to customer needs for a flexible and powerful revenue allocation engine to permit correct revenue distribution within a subscription economy and effectively trace changes to a revenue schedule and the resulting revenue recognition. The method comprises, from each of the plurality of M2M devices involved in the service session, receiving a service message comprising a service identifier (SID) corresponding to the service session. The method also comprises, by means of the received SID from each of the plurality of M2M devices, determining the number of M2M devices involved in the service session. The method also comprises, based on the determined number of M2M devices, calculating a charging rate for the service session. The method also comprises using the calculated rate, charging the service session.

Abstract: A message conveying system comprising a set of sensors that can detect features such as a camera, LADAR, ranging sensors, or acoustic sensors in which the lead autonomous vehicle conveys messages to the other autonomous vehicles that follow behind of rendezvous locations for the entire convoy to meet when they get separated from the lead autonomous vehicle. The rendezvous locations are derived from paths entered by the operator, by using the general direction of travel, or by using the old route. In addition, different rendezvous points can be chosen based on exactly where the loss of communication occurs. These rendezvous points may or may not lead to the final destination dictated by the lead autonomous vehicle.

One or more logs, each generated at a corresponding second device connected to the first network, are received via a second network linked to the first network. Each log has network data having network information associated with the corresponding second device, and location data having location information indicative of a location of the corresponding second device. The network data is analyzed to identify network information in at least one log that matches received network information associated with the first device. Location information in the location data of the at least one log is used to determine a location associated with the first device. In some implementations, the network data in the at least one log and timestamps associated with the network data in the at least one log are used in order to classify the determined location.

Abstract: A telecommunications addressing system/method allowing selection of a telephone instrument device (TID) using arbitrary identifiers is disclosed. The system/method allows a source TID (STD) to select a target TID (TTD) by the use of a Target Telephone Identifier (TTI) data string rather than a traditional numeric telephone identification (NTI). This TTI is then indexed within a TTI/NTI mapping server (TMS) that functions as a hierarchical repository of TTI/NTI mappings. STD/TTD communication is established by first performing a lookup of the STD-selected TTI within the TMS to identify the NTI of the TTD. Once the NTI of the STD has been identified by the TMS, communication between the STD and TTD is established using the NTI via the normal public switched telephone network (PSTN). TMS TTI lookup may be performed via STD TID web application and/or via PSTN infrastructure interface.
