Remote Programming Control Patents (Class 455/419)
  • Patent number: 10772063
Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a system for processing registration backup data are disclosed. A Serving Call Session Control Function (S-CSCF) receives a request from a User Equipment (UE) and judges whether the request carries multi-registration information so as to decide whether to add multi-registration indication information into a Server Assignment Request (SAR) message sent to a Home Subscriber Server (HSS). The HSS performs operations according to whether the SAR message carries the multi-registration indication information, therefore avoiding unnecessary signaling interactions, reducing the signaling load, avoiding unnecessary data processing between the HSS and the S-CSCF, and saving system resources.

Abstract: Autonomous vehicles may be dynamically directed to rendezvous with autonomous vehicle trains or convoys. Current location and/or route information of the Autonomous Vehicle Train (AVT) may be received by an autonomous vehicle. The autonomous vehicle may compare its current location and/or route information to determine a rendezvous point with the AVT. The autonomous vehicle may route itself to the rendezvous point with the AVT. Once there, the autonomous vehicle may verify the identification of the AVT, such as by using sensors/cameras to verifying a lead vehicle of the AVT (e.g., by verifying make/model, color, and/or license plate). The autonomous vehicle and lead vehicle may communicate to allow the autonomous vehicle to join the AVT. A minimum level of autonomous vehicle functionality may be verified prior to the autonomous vehicle being allowed to join the AVT. As a result, vehicle traffic flow and travel experience by passengers may be enhanced.

The blocking application can enable a block mode on the smartphone in response to determining that the velocity exceeds the velocity threshold. Enabling the block mode can include disabling access to applications that are not in the allowed application list, thereby limiting distractions caused by the smartphone for the driver.

  • Patent number: 10477383
Abstract: A download order message is received from a business support function of a wireless communication carrier. The download order message is for initiating a preparation of an unpopulated eSIM profile for downloading to an EUICC on a user device. The unpopulated eSIM profile is an eSIM profile that lacks pre-populated profile metadata. A metadata provision value is extracted from the download order message. The metadata provision value is compared to a mapping table that maps profile metadata provision values to corresponding combinations of one or more metadata element values. Accordingly, a combination of one or more profile metadata element values for the unpopulated eSIM profile is identified based on the comparison of the metadata provision value to the mapping table. The combination of one or more profile metadata element values is then populated into the unpopulated eSIM profile to generate a populated eSIM profile.

  • Patent number: 10452748
Abstract: A lack of available responsive options for existing web sites and/or pages, and the wide spectrum under which they fall presents a challenge for a satisfying mobile user experience (UX) with a hosted collaboration service. Templates used to create a site and/or page may each have capabilities and features which “cross-over” into other templates. Deconstructing and rendering a web page into a native application experience at a mobile client may highlight a template's functionality to enhance the UX. For example, a server side application programming interface (API) may be provided for the mobile UX, a type of a page to be rendered may be determined, the page may be deconstructed into pieces, and the deconstructed pieces may be provided to rebuild the page at the mobile client natively. The page may be rendered on the mobile client with added elements based on the deconstructed pieces to enhance the mobile UX.

  • Patent number: 10441847
Abstract: The application relates to technological frameworks whereby user skill performances are monitored using Performance Sensor Units (PSUs), and data derived from those PSUs is processed thereby to determine attributes of the user skill performances. For example, the identification of attributes of performances is used to drive computer processes, such as computer processes described herein. Particular focus is given to technologies which enable the gamification of skills via delivery of competitive challenges, such challenges being driven by data derived from PSUs that monitor physical performances. For example, in one embodiment users compete in the context of performing a particular skill or skills “better” than others (for example in the context of amplitude, power, accuracy, successive completions, and so on).

  • Patent number: 10447689
Abstract: An instant access device may receive a request from a user device to access secure content corresponding to a particular web service. The instant access device may create a hash code based on a telephone number of the user device and a hash code, and may communicate the hash code to an authentication system. The authentication system may authenticate the user device by comparing the hash code to a hash table that includes a list of hash codes associated with user devices that are authorized to access the secure content. Based on whether the user device is authenticated by the authentication system, the instant access device may cause the user device to access the secure content, whether by accessing the secure content directly (when the user device authentication is successful) or by creating a new user account (when the user device authentication is unsuccessful).
