The external device displays a control screen including the profile type and the parameter at the first value, and receives a user input. The bridges forward the beacon's received advertisements to a location engine, which records timestamps of motion events seen by each beacon in each room. One or more simple transmitting tags then report their own motion status based on a tag-based accelerometer. The system utilizes a series of location-engine steps, to estimate the room-location of the tags based on a specific combination of RSSI analysis, and a comparison of tag-motion history to the perceived and recorded motion-status in a room. This analysis of tag-motion history and motion-in-room status produces a better estimate of room-level location of the tag than can be estimated by simple proximity or multi-lateration using radio signal strengths.

A method for determining a resource for device-to-device communication according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise the steps of: receiving, from an eNode B (eNB), configuration information related to a resource pool configured for each level; selecting the resource pool of the device-to-device communication on the basis of the configuration information; and selecting a resource for the device-to-device communication in the resource pool. Herein, the resource pool may be configured to have two or more levels.

The cellular band outputs of these microcell base station devices are used to modulate a 60 GHz (or higher) carrier wave, yielding a group of subcarriers on the 60 GHz carrier wave. This group will then be transmitted in the air via analog microwave RF unit, after which it can be repeated or radiated to the surrounding area. The repeaters amplify the signal and resend it on the air again toward the next repeater. In places where a microcell is required, the 60 GHz signal is shifted in frequency back to its original frequency (e.g., the 1.9 GHz cellular band) and radiated locally to nearby mobile devices.
