Abstract: A recommendation generator builds a network of interrelationships between venues, reviewers and users based on their attributes and reviewer and user reviews of the venues. Each interrelationship or link may be positive or negative and may accumulate with other links (or anti-links) to provide nodal links the strength of which are based on commonality of attributes among the linked nodes and/or common preferences that one node, such as a reviewer, expresses for other nodes, such as venues. The links may be first order (based on a direct relationship between, for instance, a reviewer and a venue) or higher order (based on, for instance, the fact that two venue are both liked by a given reviewer). • Patent number: 11082802
Abstract: In the field of mobile and user of the mobile location determination, geo-fences are used to identify areas and regions of commercial, safety and convenience to user of the mobile computer device. The methods disclosed reduce the central processor unit cycles of the mobile computer device and thus the power drain caused by high numbers of calculations required to determine the location of the mobile computer device relative to one or more complex shaped geo-fences by minimising the number of positioning calculations that the mobile device needs to perform. For location updates required by the mobile computer device, the method applies data structures to a deconstructed geo-fence prior to distance calculations for use by a geo-fencing application running on the mobile computer device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for using wireless beacons in point of purchase (“POP”) displays to facilitate the delivery of consumer oriented content to mobile devices is disclosed herein. Wireless beacons may be used to broadcast wireless signals from POP displays, where the wireless signals include data packets with unique identifiers for the wireless beacons. A wireless signal from a POP display may be received by a mobile device. The mobile device may provide the unique identifier in the wireless signal and a retail location of the mobile device to a remote server. The retail location of the mobile device may be provided by a mobile application (e.g., a retailer app) on the mobile device. The remote server may determine the retail location of the POP display by associating the retail location of the mobile device with the wireless beacon.

  • Patent number: 11074367
Abstract: In various embodiments, before a data subject request can be processed, the data subject's identity may need to be verified. In various embodiments, the system provides a mechanism to automatically detect the type of authentication required for a particular data subject based on the type of Data Subject Access Request being made and automatically issues a request to the data subject to verify their identity against that form of identification. For example, a subject rights request might only require two types of authentication, but a deletion request may require four types of data to verify authentication. The system may automatically detect which is type of authentication is required based on the DSAR and send an appropriate request to the data subject to verify their identity.

Abstract: Systems and methods for proactively identifying and surfacing relevant content on an electronic device with a touch-sensitive display are disclosed herein. In one aspect, a method includes presenting content in a first application. At least a portion of the content is presented without requiring input from a user. The method further includes receiving a request to open a second application. In response to receiving the request, the second application is presented with an input-receiving field. Before receiving any user input at the input-receiving field, a selectable user interface object is displayed with an indication that the portion of the content was viewed in the first application, allowing the user to paste at least the portion of the content into the input-receiving field. In response to detecting a selection of the selectable user interface object, the portion of the content is pasted into the input-receiving field.

  • Patent number: 11054266
Abstract: A user's travel is securely monitored using user-configured secure travel monitoring constraints within a secure travel profile. The user-configured secure travel monitoring constraints granularly specify controls related to user travel privacy and authorized release of travel information to a user-specified trusted third party in association with the user's travel, in addition to specifying a planned travel route and a planned travel time frame. A route deviation by the user relative to the planned travel route or planned travel time frame is detected during the secure monitoring of the user's travel. A user-configured level of travel information authorized by the user to be released to the user-specified trusted third party within a traveler safety alert responsive to the route deviation is determined based upon the user-configured secure travel monitoring constraints. The traveler safety alert with the user-configured level of travel information is sent to the user-specified trusted third party.
