Abstract: Systems and methods for centralized power management of wireless user devices are disclosed. In embodiments, a method comprises: monitoring, by a computing device, battery charge levels for remote user devices; identifying, by the computing device, that a battery charge level of a first user device of the remote user devices is below a predetermined threshold value based on the monitoring; identifying, by the computing device, at least one in-use device from the remote user devices based on real-time data indicating that the at least one in-use device is in use by a user; and sending, by the computing device, an alert to the at least one in-use device based on the identifying the at least one in-use device, wherein the alert includes information about the first user device and information regarding the battery charge level of the first device.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus and systems for configuring minimization of drive test in a wireless network with a multi-connectivity architecture are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method performed by a first wireless communication node is disclosed. The method comprises: transmitting, to a second wireless communication node, configuration information for a minimization of drive test (MDT) measurement; and receiving, from the second wireless communication node, a feedback in response to the configuration information for the MDT measurement. The first wireless communication node and the second wireless communication node are both nodes in a wireless network.

Abstract: A system is disclosed that comprises a presentation system configured to receive a request from a wireless communication service customer and initiate an application programming interface call to an action tool. The system also comprises the action tool that accesses and analyzes customer analytics data and determines and sends potential actions based on the analysis to a rules engine. The system additionally comprises the rules engine that applies rules to select and send an action to the presentation system. The presentation system is further configured to generate and provide a customized GUI comprising a selectable button corresponding to the action to a display of an electronic device associated with the customer. The system further comprises a provisioning system configured to provision the customer with a different wireless communication service plan in response to the electronic device receiving an input to the customized GUI indicating selection of the selectable button.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and computer-readable media are set forth for providing digital and non-digital content to a segment of a population that is identified using geolocation data and other activity data. In some implementations, non-digital content is delivered via postal mail to a segment of a population according to whether the segment of the population viewed certain content before, during, or after visiting a particular geographic location. In other implementations, digital content, such as phone calls or voice messages, can be delivered to a segment of a population according whether the segment of the population is present or has recently been present at a particular location and previously viewed certain content associated with the location. Segmenting populations in this way can conserve computational resources and materials that might otherwise be wasted on serving a larger population that may have less of an interest in the content.

Abstract: A method and device for generating message notifications at a mobile device is provided. A current operating context of the mobile device is determined. A first display representation for the received message in accordance with notification display settings associated with the determined current operating context is determined. Gesture information from a touch input component is determined and a second display representation comprising at least a portion of the received message and an action area for performing a direct action in response to the received message in response to the determined gesture information is generated.

Abstract: Described herein are systems, methods, and computer readable media for dynamically determining a language variant to use for vehicle output to a vehicle occupant based on the vehicle's location. A geographic region may include multiple sub-regions, each of which may be associated with a respective one or more language variants. As an example, a geographic region may be a state or province, and each sub-region may have one or more dialects that are spoken by individuals in that sub-region. In some cases, a particular dialect may be predominant in a given sub-region. As a vehicle traverses a travel path, it may determine its current location, which geographic sub-region includes that location, and which language variant (e.g., dialect) is predominant there. That language variant may then be selected for in-vehicle communication with a vehicle occupant. The vehicle location determination may be made at or near where the occupant entered the vehicle.

Abstract: Systems and methods for authenticating access to multiple data stores substantially in real-time are disclosed. The system may include a server coupled to a network, a client device in communication with the server via the network and a plurality of data stores. The server may authenticate access to the data stores and forward information from those stores to the client device. An exemplary authentication method may include receipt of a request for access to data. Information concerning access to that data is stored and associated with an identifier assigned to a client device. If the identifier is found to correspond to the stored information during a future request for access to the store, access to that store is granted.

Abstract: The present invention relates to providing a financial transaction and, more particularly, to a system and method for proceeding with a financial transaction in a financial terminal such as an automated teller machine (ATM) using an approval number resulting from pre-approval. The present invention is directed to providing a system and method for proceeding with a financial transaction, such as a cash withdrawal or a purchase of a gift certificate, by obtaining transaction approval in advance with a portable terminal through communication with a financial institution server or the like and then transferring only a result of the transaction approval to an ATM or the like.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of sending vertical SMS messages comprising a lead administrator contacting a first server with a request to create a group and providing certain identifying information to the first server; assigning an identification number to the group; creating and assigning at least one access code to the group; sharing the access code to desired members of the group and adding members to the group that send the access code to the identification number; and sending a SMS message to members of the group from the lead administrator, wherein the SMS messages are only shared vertically within the group.

Abstract: An electronic device reservation system that reduces the burden on an on-disk database is disclosed that comprises an on-disk database including a reservation table and an in-memory database storing a count of available electronic devices for each type of electronic device. The system also comprises a server comprising one or more application programming interfaces configured to receive a reservation request for a type of electronic device, access the in-memory database to determine whether there is enough inventory, modify the reservation table in the on-disk database for the reservation request in response to determining that there is enough inventory, decrement the count of available electronic devices for the type of electronic device in the in-memory database in response to the modification, and send a notification to a subscriber indicating that they have reserved a place in line electronically for a pre-order of the requested type of electronic device.

The terminal belongs to a group of terminals sharing a set of one or several identification codes for connecting to the first wireless network. When the first communication module is in standby mode, the second communication module listens to a downlink between the second wireless access network and the terminal. The first communication module is activated and connects to the first wireless network using the indicated identification code in the activation request received from the server.

Thus, a communication procedure such as an attach procedure suitable for a CIoT terminal is provided.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for splitting a transaction among multiple participants. A system configured to practice the method first identifies a group of individuals associated with a shared transaction. Then the system identifies a primary individual from the group of individuals and a non-primary group of individuals from the group of individuals, wherein the primary individual is associated with a primary account that existed prior to the shared transaction, and wherein each individual of the non-primary group of individuals is associated with a respective non-primary account that existed prior to the shared transaction. The system establishes a policy for monitoring the primary account for completion of the shared transaction.

In various implementations, a free-form natural language input may be received from a first user and may include a request for information pertaining to a second user. Multiple data sources may be identified that are accessible by an automated assistant to retrieve data associated with the second user. The multiple data sources may collectively include sufficient data to formulate a natural language response to the request. Respective privacy scores associated with the multiple data sources may be used to determine an aggregate privacy score associated with responding to the request. The natural language response may then be output at a client device operated by the first user in response to a determination that the aggregate privacy score associated with the natural language response satisfies a privacy criterion established for the second user with respect to the first user.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). Embodiments herein provide method and system for end-to-end security over signaling plane in a mission critical data (MCData) communication system. The proposed method includes various ways of securing MCData data payload transmitted over signaling plane using short data service (SDS). The proposed method allows usage of multiple security keys to encrypt the MCData SDS message as per the requirements. Various Keys such as, signaling plane key or media plane key or a dedicated MCData data payload signaling key can be used independently or in a combination thereof to achieve the desired security context. The proposed method allows protection of all the application level components with the signaling plane security context.

Abstract: An electronic subscriber identity module (eSIM) profile delivery and activation system is disclosed comprising a user equipment that includes an eSIM, a WIFI transceiver, a radio modem, and an application. The application is configured to detect that the eSIM is not initially provisioned with an eSIM profile, and in response to the detection, request, receive, and store via the WIFI transceiver a branding information handle from an over-the-air (OTA) platform in the eSIM, and reboot the eSIM and/or the radio modem. The radio modem is configured to receive the branding information handle stored in the eSIM after reboot, determine which subscription manager data preparation (SMDP+) server to access based on the handle, and obtain and configure the eSIM profile from the SMDP+ server into the eSIM. The radio modem is subsequently rebooted and configured to communicate with a carrier specific OTA platform to finalize activation of the eSIM profile.

Abstract: Embodiments for generating appropriate data sets for learning to identify user actions. A user uses one or more applications over a suitable period of time. As the user uses the applications, a monitoring device, acting as a “man-in-the-middle,” intermediates the exchange of encrypted communication between the applications and the servers that serve the applications. The monitoring device obtains, for each action performed by the user, two corresponding (bidirectional) flows of communication: an encrypted flow, and an unencrypted flow. Since the unencrypted flow indicates the type of action that was performed by the user, the correspondence between the encrypted flow and the unencrypted flow may be used to automatically label the encrypted flow, without decrypting the encrypted flow. Features of the encrypted communication may then be stored in association with the label to automatically generate appropriately-sized learning set for each application of interest.

The service provider may be associated with an application executable on a virtual machine. The virtual machine may be part of a virtual environment that includes a user interface. The server may determine an identifier for the received notification. The identifier may indicate the application on the virtual machine associated with the service provider. The server may provide the received notification to the user interface for display to a user. The received notification may be displayed without execution of the application on the virtual machine.
