Abstract: Providing a consistent conversational experience to a user having multiple platform devices includes assigning each of a plurality of platform specific artificial conversational entities to at least one of the multiple platform devices using a chatbot integration platform of a particular messaging platform running on each of the devices or available conversational, interaction and integration capabilities of a messaging platform running on each of the devices, determining preferences of the user regarding timing and use on the multiple platform devices, and initially selecting a conversational venue corresponding to one of the multiple platform devices and a corresponding one of the platform specific artificial conversational entities according to routing logic that uses the preferences of the user and other factors. The preferences of the user may be determined using contact information of the user and social media profiles of the user.

Abstract: A wearable device can establish a verified session with a host device (e.g., by establishing that the wearable device is present in the vicinity of the host device and is currently being worn). The existence of such a verified session can be used to control user access to sensitive information that may be stored in or otherwise accessible to a host device. For example, the host device and/or application programs executing thereon can be configured to restrict a user's ability to invoke program functionality that accesses sensitive information based on whether a verified session with a wearable device is currently in progress.

The group-based communication interface is configured to relegate selected group-based messaging communications to a separate display pane, where additional messaging communications can be received, thereby maintaining a focused selected group-based communication channel. The selected group-based communication channel is updated to indicate that the selected group-based messaging communications was relegated to a separate display pane, informing the channel members while also allowing the channel members to access the separate display pane if desired. Accordingly, the selected group-based communication interface provides for efficient and focused group-based communications.

Abstract: This disclosure is directed to a data interchange hub (DIH) server that serves as an intermediary to exchange data between applications hosted by a client instance and external services. The DIH server receives and stores registration data that enables it to connect to each of these external services and informs the server of the data formats that each of the external services are expected to receive and provide. Once the external services have been registered, the DIH server enables applications hosted by the client instance to send data to, and to receive data from, these external services, while seamlessly handling communication, authentication, and data conversion. Additionally, the DIH server can additionally or alternatively act as an intermediary to exchange data between the registered services. As such, the disclosed DIH server can provide a single point of access for applications hosted by the client instance and registered services to exchange data.

The method includes operations performed by a network node including at least one processor. Abstract: The present invention is a method and apparatus for resource allocation signaling for grouping user real time services. Uplink signaling for voice activity reporting of each user's transition between an active state and an inactive voice state is sent from a wireless transmit/receive unit to a Node B. Radio resource allocation to users of a wireless communication system varies based on user measurement reporting, a pre-determined pattern such as frequency hopping, or a pseudorandom function. Grouping methods are adjusted to better utilize the voice activity factor, so that statistical multiplexing can be used to more efficiently utilize physical resources.

The images can be received from a public profile of a social media website, or from locally stored content. The application can determine whether a text message has previously been sent to the intended recipient using the voice-enabled communications device or another device associated with the customer's account. Abstract: Techniques are described herein for assembling/evaluating automated assistant responses for privacy concerns. In various implementations, a free-form natural language input may be received from a first user and may include a request for information pertaining to a second user. Multiple data sources may be identified that are accessible by an automated assistant to retrieve data associated with the second user. The multiple data sources may collectively include sufficient data to formulate a natural language response to the request. Respective privacy scores associated with the multiple data sources may be used to determine an aggregate privacy score associated with responding to the request. The natural language response may then be output at a client device operated by the first user in response to a determination that the aggregate privacy score associated with the natural language response satisfies a privacy criterion established for the second user with respect to the first user.
