The operations further include generating, by the network node, a message for service-specific group message delivery for transmission on a second interface, the message including a NB-IoT service information parameter for identifying a narrowband IoT service provided by the narrowband IoT devices supporting the specified service. The operations further include transmitting, from the network node and on the second interface the message for service-specific group message delivery to narrowband IoT devices.

Abstract: This disclosure is directed to a data interchange hub (DIH) server that serves as an intermediary to exchange data between applications hosted by a client instance and external services. The DIH server receives and stores registration data that enables it to connect to each of these external services and informs the server of the data formats that each of the external services are expected to receive and provide. Once the external services have been registered, the DIH server enables applications hosted by the client instance to send data to, and to receive data from, these external services, while seamlessly handling communication, authentication, and data conversion. Additionally, the DIH server can additionally or alternatively act as an intermediary to exchange data between the registered services. As such, the disclosed DIH server can provide a single point of access for applications hosted by the client instance and registered services to exchange data.

Uplink signaling for voice activity reporting of each user's transition between an active state and an inactive voice state is sent from a wireless transmit/receive unit to a Node B. Radio resource allocation to users of a wireless communication system varies based on user measurement reporting, a pre-determined pattern such as frequency hopping, or a pseudorandom function. Grouping methods are adjusted to better utilize the voice activity factor, so that statistical multiplexing can be used to more efficiently utilize physical resources.

Based on the inferred user preference, the secondary user device is identified according to a device status of the secondary user device, the device status indicating a device capability to perform the complementary activity. The complementary activity to be performed on the secondary user device is generated by analyzing at least one of the device activity, a device functionality of the secondary user device, and the user preference. Instructions to perform the complementary activity are transmitted to the secondary user device.

Abstract: Approaches provide for generating an introductory text message to be delivered to a recipient when a voice-enabled communications device is used to send a message to the recipient for a first time. For example, audio input data that includes an instruction to send a text message can be received and an application can analyze the audio input data to determine an instruction to send a text message, a message body, and an intended recipient of the text message. The application can determine whether a text message has previously been sent to the intended recipient using the voice-enabled communications device or another device associated with the customer's account. In the situation where a text message has been sent, a text message is generated that includes the message body and the application causes the text message to be sent to the intended recipient.

Abstract: Techniques are described herein for assembling/evaluating automated assistant responses for privacy concerns. In various implementations, a free-form natural language input may be received from a first user and may include a request for information pertaining to a second user. Multiple data sources may be identified that are accessible by an automated assistant to retrieve data associated with the second user. The multiple data sources may collectively include sufficient data to formulate a natural language response to the request. Respective privacy scores associated with the multiple data sources may be used to determine an aggregate privacy score associated with responding to the request. The natural language response may then be output at a client device operated by the first user in response to a determination that the aggregate privacy score associated with the natural language response satisfies a privacy criterion established for the second user with respect to the first user.
