  • Patent number: 10820280
Abstract: A method for controlling a transmit power of a terminal, and a terminal, where the method and the terminal include, working states of a first antenna and a second antenna may be monitored, and then a transmit power of the first antenna or that of the second antenna may be controlled according to a preset correspondence. Therefore, according to the method and the terminal, a transmit power of an antenna in a working state in the first antenna and the second antenna may be accurately controlled. If the transmit power is less than a standard transmit power, a Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 10820312
Abstract: TDD access equipment modified by introducing a frequency change at the normal TDD guard point, with respective downlink or uplink periods for individual subscriber stations offset to form overlapping frames. Cyclo-stationary processing, block equalization, and burst timing coordination allow the boundary between downlink and uplink portions of both frames to be set dynamically, improving spectral efficiency. Fast frequency switching within an allotted physical slot enables synchronization of time-sharing the dedicated frequencies to be maintained among subscriber stations. Duplex spacing between downlink and uplink frequencies for individual subscriber stations, combined with in-depth filtering of received signals, prevents spurious out-of-band transmission signal strength from reaching an interference level.

  • Patent number: 10681640
Abstract: In order to reduce the power consumption after a transmitting electronic device in a wireless network has been detected, a receiving electronic device calculates transmit times of subsequent beacons from the transmitting electronic device based on a clock drift of the transmitting electronic device and the beacon period. Then, the receiving electronic device receives the subsequent beacon by opening scan windows that encompass the calculated transmit times. However, because the transmit times are more predictable after the transmitting electronic device has been detected (and the clock drift of the transmitting electronic device is known to the receiving electronic device), the receiving electronic device can reduce the width of the scan windows. In addition, the transmitting electronic device can further reduce the power consumption by increasing the beacon period.

Abstract: A method for detecting a source of interference creates a sorting table according to distances between station devices and an access point (AP) device, and the created sorting table is sent to the AP device. The AP device determines upon a target device from the sorting table and controls the target device to acquire status and distance information between target device and AP device and send the information to the AP device. A value ? is computed according to the information sent by the target device and the calculated value ? is compared with a preset value k. The source of an interference, which affects the signal sent by the AP device, is calculated based on the comparison, and the AP device applies appropriate de-noising to the signal according to the determined interference source.

Abstract: A method performed by a user equipment (UE) that operates according to a first indicator and a second indicator is provided. When the UE is in a radio resource control (RRC) connected state with a first communication system and is in a state of idle mode with a second communication system, the UE receives a first message including the first indicator and the second indicator from the first communication system. The first indicator instructs the UE to perform association processes with a base station of the second communication system. The second indicator instructs the UE to operate in a power saving mode with the base station of the second communication system. After the UE performs the association processes, the UE switches to an RRC-idle mode state with the first communication system and enters the power saving mode from the idle mode with the second communication system.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described for wireless communications in which an unlicensed spectrum may be used for cellular communications (e.g., Long Term Evolution (LTE) communications). More particularly, the described features relate to improving resource management in a multi-radio or multi-modem wireless device by utilizing one radio or modem (e.g., a wireless local area network (WLAN) radio) to inform the operation of another radio or modem (e.g., an LTE radio) co-located on the wireless device. The monitoring radio (e.g., WLAN radio) may scan an unlicensed or shared spectrum for interfering signals (e.g., military, weather, etc.) transmitted on designated channels within the shared spectrum. Upon detection of the interfering signal, the monitoring radio may generate a spectrum analysis of the detected interference and inform the second radio (e.g., LTE radio) to modify its operation based on the spectrum analysis.
