Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a skill-based wagering game with an available supplemental skill award. In various embodiments, the skill-based wagering game is a matching game. During play, the player makes skill inputs to attempt to correctly match moving objects to corresponding targets. The gaming system determines a primary award based on how many correct matches the player achieves, which is directly tied to the player's skill level during play. The primary award generally increases as the quantity of correct matches increases. For players who exhibit a high skill level during play (e.g., correctly match all of the moving objects to the targets), the gaming system may also provide a supplemental skill award. The probability of the supplemental skill award being large generally increases as the player's skill level during play increases.

Input data associated with the content can be received at the EGM and sent to the host device. The content from the non-gaming application executed on the host can be adjusted in response to the input data received from the EGM.

Abstract: A method, system and program product for controlling the operation and configuration of an electronic game terminal for the play of licensed electronic games. A passcode is generated for activating plays on the electronic game terminal. An operator is enabled to enter the passcode into a control component for the electronic game terminal. A maximum number of electronic games that can be played before the electronic game terminal is deactivated is set when the passcode is entered. The number of games remaining following each play of the electronic game is determined dynamically. A request is received from the operator to refill the game plays on the electronic game terminal. A new passcode is then generated wherein the new passcode can enable or disable at least one feature of the electronic game. The new passcode is provided to the operator to enter in order to enable additional plays on the electronic game terminal.

Abstract: The invention relates to systems and methods of selecting and placing real-world wagers responsive to one or more wager triggers, obtaining outcomes of the real-world wagers, facilitating user interactions with various interactive media, and revealing the outcomes of the real-world wagers through the interactive media to give an appearance that the outcomes of the real-world wagers resulted from the user interactions even though the outcomes resulted from the real-world wagers and were determined before the user interactions. By integrating real-world wager outcomes with gameplay and other user interactions, the system may provide an engaging user experience with interactive media. For example, a game may reveal an outcome of a real-world wager (which has already occurred), in response to in-game actions such as user actions in the game, other players' actions in the game, game events (e.g., events caused by the game logic/artificial intelligence), and/or other events.

Abstract: An example of an information processing system includes one or more terminal apparatuses and a server. Each of the one or more terminal apparatuses transmits, to the server, action information indicating an action of a user regarding the terminal apparatus. The server receives the action information from the terminal apparatus. The server stores, for respective types of actions, pieces of history information, each indicating a numerical value corresponding to history of the action of the user. Based on the received action information, the server updates history information corresponding to the action information. Under the condition that a combination of the plurality of pieces of history information satisfies a predetermined combination condition, the server transmits provision information to a terminal apparatus that is the same as or different from the terminal apparatus as the transmission source of the action information.

Some preferred implementations of the invention allow a target progressive pool size to be selected and apply payouts such that the actual progressive pool size is not likely to exceed greatly the target progressive pool size. Some such implementations control the actual progressive pool size by applying a function to control percentages of the current progressive pool size payable to players of a wagering game on the networked gaming machines. The function may be a function of a current progressive pool size, target progressive pool size and bet size.
