  • Patent number: 9589220
Abstract: Gaming chips are provided with embedded radio frequency identification (“RFID”) tags incorporated into a gaming chip for identifying and tracking the gaming chips within a casino, and even upon a gaming table. The gaming chips have a body in the shape of a disc which has a loss tangent of 0.0078 or less, and more preferably of 0.007 or less. For chips operating at 900 MHz, the body has a dielectric constant of 5 or less, and preferably 3-5. For chips operating at 2.45 GHz, the body has a dielectric constant of 5-8. Preferably, the body is made of a blend of plastic, such as PVC, and a dielectric ceramic. The RFID is preferably sandwiched between layers of a high frequency circuit material including top and bottom layers and a center layer have a hole for receiving the RFID. Preferably, the layers of high frequency circuit material have a dielectric constant of 2.5-4 and a loss tangent of 0.002-0.006.

  • Patent number: 9590950
Abstract: A method and system for the anonymization and segmentation of the media access control (MAC) addresses reported by visitors' 802.11 enabled devices at a venue operator premises. This system assures a venue operator and its visitors that no individually identifying information about a visitor is re-transmitted or stored that can be traced back to their MAC address, while still allowing the venue operator to obtain venue visitor counts visit frequencies well as traffic patterns during visits (i.e. dwell times at, and movements between, locations within a venue) and counts of common visitors between venues. It also ensures that the data generated is segmented so that the data obtained by two different venue operators is not correlatable between visitors common to the two sets of data.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer programs for sharing a game play over a social network include executing a play session of a game. During execution of the play session, an option is provided to share a portion of the game on a social network. In response to receiving a request to share the portion of the game, an instance of the game is generated at a time when the request is received and is posted to a stream of the social network. The instance of the game inherits a current state of the play session. A reward is generated to a user account that plays the instance in the stream and to the user that initiates the sharing of the portion of the game upon the user playing the instance of the game claims the reward.
