  • Patent number: 9027677
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electric tracklaying gear and the use thereof for a self-propelled working machine, preferably for a construction or earth-moving machine or a surface mining machine such as Surface Miner, which includes an endlessly circulating track chain which can be driven by a crawler drive that is arranged inside the path of circulation of the track chain. It is proposed to associate a cooling device with a closed fluid cooling circuit to the electric motor of the crawler drive arranged in the interior of the path of circulation of the track chain. Due to the high thermal capacity of a suitable cooling fluid such as oil or water-glycol mixture small volumetric flow rates in the fluid cooling circuit and hence small conduit cross-sections are sufficient. On the other hand, due to the closed formation of the fluid cooling circuit any dust input into the crawler drive and also any generation of dust by exhaust air can be avoided.

Abstract: A wrap-around braking device for a planetary gear train, having at least one wrap-around element, with first and second cam devices, and is designed to wrap around at least one ring gear of the planetary gear train for braking engagement. A shift fork, which can be moved in the axial direction of the shift fork and which has first and second actuating elements that act oppositely in the axial direction and which is mounted in a rotationally fixed manner in a housing that has at least first and second stops in the axial direction. For braking engagement on the ring gear, which rotates in a first rotational direction, the shift fork can be moved in a first axial direction such that the first actuating element interacts with the first cam device, while the second stop opposite the first actuating element in the axial direction interacts with the second cam device.

Abstract: One aspect of the invention includes a speed changing device which can be switched from a high-speed low-torque output state to a low-speed high-torque output state. In the high-speed low-torque state, a second stage internal gear rotates together with a first stage carrier. The low-speed high-torque output state is caused as the second stage internal gear is disconnected from the first stage carrier so as to be restricted from rotating. The timing of resetting the speed changing device is shifted relative to the timing of stopping the electric motor by an OFF operation of the switch lever with a delay mechanism, so that the second stage internal gear is engaged with the first stage carrier after the rotation through inertia is stopped, whereby its impact is reduced.
